The math that's used for the haste stat is not as good as you think it is.
For PVP, you normally would choose any other stat besides haste.
However, Haste, even though not as effective as other stats, still can play a role in PVE with Moglomancer.

Moglomancer's Zorbak's Bane with Seismic Slam is also good too but with the Block Meta, it's out of the bin since you take so much damage from the Block's Reflection which is why I stick to Rend huhuu

For PVE its good with Seis but in PVP its all about working as a team to have a kill target
AoEing in PVP only fluffs your leaderboard damage but does nothing for the team
If I was in a team fight, I'd rather be able to have a moglin thats able to hit 2000+ damage on a single target
vs 1400 damage spread out if you catch my drift
You'll see an example of this as I crit buff my team in the match and a player gets deleted soon as they're around 40%
