This was a.shock, but those first 10 wins fooled everyone (including the demons) but was actually an obvious false economy: they played 8 of the bottom 10 sides, and the other two were 7th and 8th. Ultimately they actually played pretty poorly in many of those games too.
And amazingly many people have been hyping them up all throughout the pre-season as the raging premiership favourite and the team to beat in 2023. When Geelong won its last 16 matches in a row to win the 2022 premiership, and both Sydney and Collingwood beat them twice last season too.
At least they're not commentating on the game. Anthony Hudson's body language in the commentary box looks exactly the same as Jones' and Healey's body language does whenever he is commentating Geelong games, but no-one has ever singled him out as being unprofessional. Commentators can look however they want to look inside of the box, just as long as their bias doesn't show in their comments.
@@allowah6 Why would Huddo be unhappy Brisbane won? He is a Geelong supporter and I think most Geelong supporters would consider Melbourne a bigger threat in the prelim
@@PWD65 because the Vics have never accepted the AFL as a national competition. The Vic media especially are so condescending towards the rest of Australia it is very difficult to watch and understand why. I reckon Huddo is a good commentator..... as for Whately, he has a horrible voice, too whiney.
