    Arkansas fan here, so I'm normally tuned into the SEC's offseason. However, the Big 12 is the league I'm most interested in. I'm rooting that league on, especially after everyone wrote them off when Texas and OU left. Those teams are creating a new pecking order and I'm here for it.

    WVU has the toughest schedule in the league…. I’m a South Carolina fan and always enjoyed the atmosphere In Morgantown…. they used to schedule an SEC opponent on a regular basis… great atmosphere when we played them… no offense but we’d have rather had them in SEC rather than Missouri…so much closer and fans are great.

    The Big12 is probably getting only one team in the playoffs this season. Their non conference schedule for the most part for most teams are a joke. They have no damn right or defense to call out other conferences when they dodge a lot. The schools that have decent non conference schedules are not expected to contend for a conference championship except maybe WVU. My predictions for upcoming season but subjective to change considering what takes place over the summer and at the start of the season.
    1. Utah 11-2 conference champs
    2. WVU 11-2 coach gets extended
    3. UCF 9-3 next season challenge
    4. OkSt 9-3
    5. KU 9-3
    6. KST 8-4
    7. Arizona 8-4 next year will challenge
    8. TCU 8-4
    9. Houston 7-5
    10. Texas Tech 7-5 coach on hot seat
    11. Iowa State 7-5 coach on hot seat
    12. Colorado 5-7
    13. BYU 5-7 coach fired
    14. Baylor 5-7 coach fired
    15. Arizona State 4-8
    16. Cincinnati 4-8

    Ari has to be high to think OSUs ceiling is 9 wins. They won 10 games against overall higher quality opponents last year. Utah isn't Texas, and Kansas State isn't OU. OSU could roll into Arlington undefeated.

    • @michaelwall3393
      @michaelwall3393 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Dude, they won 9 games during the regular season before getting crushed in conference championship game and then won their bowl game to get to 10 wins. Oklahoma State got destroyed by three teams that were barely bowl eligible. I happen to agree with some of these predictions. I actually think it will be West Virginia and Utah playing for conference championship and a lone playoff berth. The Big12 is not good enough or strong enough in non conference games schedules this season to justify more than one school. Everyone gets it wrong about the SEC. They start off playing brutal non conference games and then get to the easiest part of non conference games later on. Other conferences play as many or more cream puffs than SEC. Big12 has to eliminate playing in-conference opponents for non conference games and almost erasing scheduling FCS teams and stick to A4 and two G5/6 or two A4 and one G5/6 team.

    • @ninerealms69
      @ninerealms69 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@michaelwall3393 OSU lost Sanders to the transfer portal (and other talent), had a terrible start to the season at 2-2, but still made the conference championship. They had no business making a bowl game, and pulled out a 10-win year. That's a hell of a coaching job.
      Do you know anything about OSU? They bring back the 3rd most production nationally, including the Doak Walker Award winner, that beat KU, KSU, and WV. That doesn't mean OSU will win those games this year, but it's better than losing to those teams. The only other good team OSU faces is Utah.
      Arkansas is trash, but it's the SEC school we face this year. We already played Georgia, and scheduled Bama for the future years ago. Other than that I'm not interested in your SEC whataboutism that I didn't mention at all.
      Also, you're smoking crack to think WV might make the conference title. wth are you basing that on? They are literally average at best.

    • @michaelwall3393
      @michaelwall3393 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@ninerealms69I have seen you and others bash the SEC when all P4 conferences play cupcakes often. Nothing I said was incorrect. You can do your horse humping Cowboy bull corn all you want. But I know the Big12 inside out and outside in. You act as if Okie Dokie Ding Dong State played tough competition and had 10 wins before their championship game beat down. Nope! The flaws are there still from the 2-2 start and that was evident as season progressed. Everyone knew they would make a bowl game. No one thought they crumble like Baylor or TCU. You can belittle my truth and accuracy all you want. But West Virginia and Utah or UCF if can stay healthy on both sides of the ball and including healthy with depth too could compete for conference championship and maybe one of the Kansas schools. But no one else. Now next year Oklahoma State and TCU and two other schools should be in the running for not only conference championship game but potentially an at large playoff bid selection. Remove your fandom and know I speak the truth.

    • @ninerealms69
      @ninerealms69 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@michaelwall3393 Keep your strawman argument about the SEC to yourself. I literally don't care about your leagues games against the sisters of the poor. Seriously.
      What flaws (that you fail to mention) did OSU not address when they saved their season after said 2-2 start? And if they still had these flaws why would you think they would be good enough to make a bowl game, but not good enough to replicate the same results? That's a contradiction.
      Using ad hominem remarks just shows your resorting to an argument from emotion because the facts don't suit your agenda.
      Yeah, OSU lost to some crappy teams, but they don't play any of those teams this year, and beat the teams they play this year. Thave a veteran team without question marks like they did last year.

    • @ninerealms69
      @ninerealms69 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@michaelwall3393 Also, regardless of whether you like it or not a 10-win season is an accomplishment. Okie Dokie Ding Dong State went 2-1 against the top 25 last year, which is reflective of the fact that OSU is one of 10 teams (#5) nationally with a winning record against the top 25 in the last 10 years. They are 23-3 at home since 2020, and win consistently year in and out. You've yet to give a reason why they can't be as good as they were last year.

    Not hating for the reasons you mentioned but how do you miss the rest of the additions to both lines for Colorado? Chidoze Nwankwo or a Rayyan Buell? You didn't even mention their probably best offensive lineman that the NCAA screwed last year in Tyler Brown. I know you can't study 100 teams full rosters but this is THE most polarizing team right now. I just dont understand how you don't see even just the sizeable difference if not the new faces. They are on AVERAGE 30+ pounds heavier than they were last year. Nearly both lines are new. Even Seaton who you mentioned, has added a lot of weight and strength already.
    Not terrible stuff here. I just hear your arguments and I don't understand how you make them with the already proven players added in the trenches. Hill-Green. Buell is going to surprise a lot and he shouldn't. His tape is insane.
    Like I said. Overall not bad after hearing the majority of on3 not just overlooking or underestimating them but down right being disrespectful and flat out wrong about the details of just how they improved what held them back.
    Also didn't mention they probably have at worst the 3rd best WR room in the country and RB room is ready. Freshman Micah Welch is already been the highlight of spring and you mentioned Haden but even Augustave looks like a young frank gore. He's just built right. I know those don't guarantee wins or production. But there's just too much improvement to gloss over it and say the trenches worry you still.

    Might I remind every talking head out there, Avery Johnson is still unproven and will need to show he can throw the ball and start games. He is basically a true freshmen still. I know everybody and their brother wants to latch onto his leg and kiss his butt, but c'mon! Little guy ran around in a couple of games, got a couple of rushing TDs against teams that were imploding. Ooh, he ate a pop-tart! So what? Put a spy on that sucker to make sure he doesn't get too far, too often. I've seen this story before. A quarterback rushes for some touchdowns in his debut, everybody poops their pants, but then the next year (usually with a new coordinator or HC) they say he has to develop his passing game. Then, he turns out to be an average passer, doesn't carry the team like an older, balanced quarterback can, maybe he is even one-dimensional and actually sucks. K-State is not making it to the Big12 title game, I don't think. Sorry I offended you all about your one true love, with the flowing hair!

    Last time we checked Arizona's offensive line is better than anyone in the Big 12
    Next
    Jacory Croskey-Merritt
    Quali Conley and
    Speedy Luke are just fine to run over the Big 12
    And for the record T Mac from the jump said that he was staying regardless
    🛑 Stop putting out false information
    Next what secondary in the Big 12 is better than Arizona?
    Jacob Manu is a better linebacker
    Brent Brennan loves to run
    And he could and recruited a Blikenkoff Award winner and he beat Arkansas
    And what wide receiver or running back on Utah is scary
    Back to the idiotic statement that Arizona doesn't have an offensive line or is not built for the Big 12
    Big Jonah is the only offensive lineman in the Big 12 projected in the 2025 first round of the NFL draft
    And last time we checked facts
    Jacory Croskey-Merritt is better than Jonah Coleman and so is Quali Conley

      Tell me you haven't watched WVU football to think that our O line isn't as good or better than Arizona's. We rushed for over 2100 yards last year and are returning all but 2 starters and replacing them with experienced vets, our quarterback only took 4 sacks all season.
