Hey Miles, I’d love to see a side-by-side comparison of NTN binding “releasability”. My understanding is that certain bindings are designed to release more easily in a fall. In learning to ski switch (fakie?), I’m spending a lot more time on my butt and my Outlaw Xs have never released, even when I wish they would have.
Miles, you’re clearly very knowledgeable about telemark gear, but after watching this video I have no idea why you prefer Outlaw X over Lynx, OMG TTS or Meidjo? Please consider redoing the video to tell us what are the benefits of this older binding vs newer NTN gear. Thx.
@@FreeheelLife I just watched your new ‘Top Five Reasons to Buy Meidjo Bindings’ video. I understand Outlaw X is aimed at resort skiers, but so is Meidjo. Enjoying the great content here.
Skied tele in Cottonwoods in the’80’s. Miss real skiing
Bet those are some amazing memories! - Madsen

Quite surprised that there is no reply to this one in over a year ...
Thank you for the great videos!
Glad you like them! - Madsen

How come you aren’t giving the BMF3 any review love?
We honestly don't sell BMFs that often and rarely ski them. - Madsen
You should. They’re sick.
What is sitting tighter? What is stiffer? You refer to it as “that guy.” Is it the flex plate that gets tighter or the heel clamp?
What are the best NTN boots for touring? And should you stick with Scarpa T2 or old three-buckle T1 for touring?
