Baby steps on a long, long road but still some achievement - just still being here is remarkable. An ideal locomotive for Mid-Hants I would think. Brilliant record of an historic journey.
no, no it won't. It is in a very bad condition and will need getting close to £1million to restore it. That's not going to be raised anytime soon. Also the railway's workshop are busy with other projects before this loco gets it's turn. It's impossible to have close to completion by 2025. @@terrier_productions
Great video, well produced. Great to see the locomotive in such good hands. Love the footplate countryside running bit's. Makes you think..... "IT WON'T BE LONG NOW" Good Luck All.
Can't thank all of the people who band together to save these locos and rolling stock for heritage railways. Bless you all ❤😊
That will be a very very useful loco..for the Mid Hants..Powerful enough for their work.
Best wishes for the project!
well done lads
As a supporter of this project, it's great to see this move and the obvious pride everyone has in this first of many achievements, Well Done 👍

Thankyou to everyone involved, makes it all worth while, will bring so much enjoyment to people.........
Really looking forward to see her back in steam. One of the Barry Ten back in use.
I've always loved those 2-6-4 tanks...
Ive been waiting for this! Finally she can start work where she needs to!
Hopefully won't be too many years until we see her making this journey on her own with a train behind, instead of a push from a diesel.
You have a pleased look on your face Martin.
I won’t be surprised if she’s up and running before Hengist is even finished.
At the moment, 72010 has got a long way to go until she’s finished. I can imagine that 80150 will be done by 2025 give or take
give or take 20 years. No way it will be done by 2025@@terrier_productions
Its not impossible. looking at her current state, she could be at least close to completion by 2025@@shipsarerubbish

Ooh! A new engine? Is it a new one saved from the scrap yards?
Yes, a Barry survivor. She’s one of the Barry Ten
It's been at the railway for a number of years
great video
Thank you
