  • Hi everyone, thank you so much for watching! It has been a dream of mine to have my stone staircase leading to the the terrace garden filled with the soft and dreamy erigeron daises. They are beautiful ground cover to add to any sunny area of the garden, but looks particularly beautiful along the edge of pathways or creeping through the cracks of stone steps. I hope you enjoy, and let me know if you have any questions in the comments below! Happy Gardening!

The UK lady named "monalogue" has the same daisies on her stone steps in her back yard. You should check them out, apparently, they will grow in shady areas. Everything is looking so beautiful. I meant to say to you yesterday when I commented on a previous video that plant cucumbers everywhere you can and it will deter the deer. It's poison to deer, so they stay away. Hanging metallic reflective streamer ribbons also works, for a lot of different animals and birds. They're afraid of the noise, the shine looks like flashing of an alarm when a deer's tail raises, and bothers their vision.

Thank you for sharing her channel, I will check her out.
I’d never heard that about cucumbers before, I have to do a little more research now. Always looking for ways to keep the deer at bay. 🦋🙏🏻

I never heard of that Mexican flea vine or how you said it’s name . That’s why I watch a lot of gardeners, I learn alot from others , last year I planted Mexican sunflowers, I think it’s name is tithonia or something like that . But anyways always watching and following from Ohio

It’s such a lovely little flower and a pollinator magnet! It goes by a couple of names, Erigeron Daisies, Fleabane, Mexican Fleabane or American Fleabane, depending on the species. It is a native wildflower in North America.

I have the same photo saved, then I saw it on Gardener's World and couldn't believe it. I've started my Mexican Fleabane from seed and they are a bit tough! Hoping I can get enough to spread! I have been dreaming of doing this all winter long!

So glad I’m not the only one! I love the effect they give planted en masse. I considered digging up some that we have around our property growing wild, but wasn’t sure how well they would transplant. I’ll have to show them on a future video. Pollinators love them!

@@HoneyHill I am really excited for them, until the stair photo I had never seen them before, now I feel like I see them everywhere. The other flower that has fascinated me and I'm growing from seed is a blue trailing lobelia. I saw a photo with it growing in white pots and wanted to try to recreate that look!

@@sweetfernhome lovely! I’ve got some 4” pots of blue lobelia waiting in the wings. My mom always plants it every year in her pot displays, reminds me of her.

Fleabane and aster are different, they are not the same family.. I've has a botanist on YT clarify it for me
