I got so many messages about the motomillion M1000RR that had the engine failure I wanted to include my thoughts about the entire situation and how it affects our current BMW build as well. Don't forget if you sign up right now you can be entered to win two bikes! www.patreon.com/campisicustoms
His video has over 200k views
When the rev limiter is off. You will definitely get a smile on your face. The bike is insane above 9k revs
@@KentuckyReefhaha yeah I filmed this video a few days ago...crazy how much its blown up
Don’t forget Cali Moto TV. His exploded on the racetrack. Blue hole in the engine case.
@@KentuckyReef hence the clickbait title. He wants a piece of the cake aswell.
Good luck with the build, no matter what happened with our RR, this will easily be the nicest M single R that will be in existence once you are done with it. We won’t hold back anything on making it the monster what it could be!
Man dado sure knows how to sell a bike. I was one of those that commented on the bike failure😂. Glad to hear it's a different engine. It sounds and looks amazing. I sold my triumph Street triple rs when I moved to Dallas due to the idiots on the road, and that one makes me want one again. Beautiful bike awesome choice, great content. Thanks guys. Ok one last thing, I've got a suggestion. What about a build series with your dad. Like a Harley or an Indian or Suzuki, a build that will be ultimately his but a series where you guys get some quality time building that thing together. That would be pretty awesome to see. Something different, something that would be sentimental for everyone. Just a thought. 😂blessings
Thanks glad you enjoyed it! My Dad and I don't wrench on bikes so we wouldn't be able to do a build together in that way haha
I miss those Pennsylvania country roads. Thanks for the ride.
They are some of my favorite roads to ride!
Yo you said it, I’m from Harrisburg down the road from Hershey, but been living in Florida for the last 2 years. Those roads are simply magic.
Your headline gave me the impression that your engine had exploded too.
haha not yet!
Clickbait….
I liked the video but the clickbait title puts me off your channel
@@auroraborealis2393 Yep agree
Shit talker clickbaiter
To fix the riding position, i installed the BMW 10mm risers. It sounds small, but the extra height made a lot of difference. Much more comfortable now.
I don't have any issue with the riding position but that's a great suggestion for those who do thanks!
Yeh I think it affects people sub 5' 10" more...
At what rpm does the torque take hold and can be felt on the M1R? in lowest mode and the most aggressive mode?
I wish we had roads like yours in the uk. You are so lucky, ours are full of potholes.
We def have some great roads out here!
The Uk riding season is about 2 months if your lucky, I ride all year round we’re I am ? Oh fukin yes 🤣😂👍
The roads in Massachusetts used to be great. Not anymore. It is like navigating through a mine field.
Sweet bike for sure!! Great video !
I bought this exact bike last month. I'm a huge fan of it. All of my previous experience is with older Japanese super bikes so the M1000R feels light years ahead of those with all of the technology and power. I've yet to reach break in service so i'm still down on power obviously but even with the hard limiter, it still feels great and I still enjoy it around town. You definitely need a nice stretch of pavement to use the full power of this thing! Looking forward to your build, as I already have a plan for mine. I put the Akra GP Shorty on mine within the first 50 miles, lol. The stock slip on is just too big and actually interferes with the passenger foot peg area.
haha nice man congrats! I'm hoping to finish these break in miles in the next week or two and then the fun begins :)
Look forward to the build, hopefully it all works great!
haha yeah we are gonna be very careful with the break in process :)
Just bought the M1KR. I don’t plan to dyno a bike with only 400 miles on it so hopefully it’ll be good to go.
haha in the owners manual it says you can perform the first service anytime after 350 miles...
@@JaretCampisiI have the owners manual and just above the service recommendation like you say, it says no full throttle before 621 miles. Page 118
@@theperipateticgumshoe9047 If that is so then why don't they simply restrict the throttle bodies in the ecu until past 621 miles ?
@@JaretCampisi No it does not???? and it also says not to rev bike over 4000rpm
@@theperipateticgumshoe9047 gum shoe is correct ...jaret ..why defend motomillion ? they screwed you running redline on dyno. trackday is your fault
I’m 5’7 110lbs. 30 inch inseam. If I can’t flat foot I feel very uncomfortable. Does lower the bike affect the handling? Is it okay to do so? Most all 600cc and over start at 32” seat height
I’m headed to dealer this week to hopefully pick one up. Subbed to see what you do with it. 🤙
ohhhh nice congrats man!
I’m looking forward to what you can do to the MR! It’s a beautiful bike!!
Build plans video coming soon!
Streetfighter is way more alive, that V4 engine is just special.
Def has more character for sure!
Another banger boyz!
Love the m1000r I have had few super naked ktm superduke s1000r zh2 Street fighter by far the m1000r is the best for me love it cant wait for you guys to start the bulid
Such a great bike! Can't wait to start the mods!
Very very nice package BMW.
Yo, Dado's in the house!... The M1000RR is a really nice bike and for the money an excellent value. The Bayliss of course is bangin...Btw, you're absolutely spot on with your opinion regarding Mani's nightmare. In many ways, you guys are brand ambassadors when deciding on which bikes you choose to purchase because of the platform u have. Let's hope BMW make it right.
Yeah I do think these brands need to start having a better relationship with content creators since we are a big way people learn about these bikes...I think they are going to really regret not making that situation right.
Absolutely, it's gone global and creators like yourself are making it happen. Much respect.
He's not the only one having bmw engine failures. There are plenty of riders having BMW engine failures and BMW tells them they will not cover damage and to go kick rocks.
I was going to buy an S1000R this weekend, but after watching Manny's video I decided against it. Went to my local Aprilia dealer yesterday to purchase a Tuono Factory but they didn't have the color I was wanting so I have to wait. It's all good though because thanks to Manny informing us about how pathetic BMW is with their warranty, I'll never purchase a BMW.
LOL I love aprilia's but that is just stupid. S1000R are bulletproof, tuonos are not LOL
I have had the s1000r great bike with no problems
If you really do your break in miles, you should be good. I would still buy the s1r
Mannys case was very weird. He removed the limiter before it was supposed to be. I have a 23 s1krr with over 6k miles and I’ve had no problems.
In the uk worst break down aprilias and ktm
Love this BMW. Gonna be selling my H2 SXSE. Sure HS SX makes more power (235whp) but she's just too big. This BMW looks like a good medium between the S1000RR and my H2 SX.
yeah H2 SX is too big for my taste and riding style
I think it is a cool bike. I love my Ducati Monster and looked at upgrading to a Streetfighter V4, but the BMW comes with so much stuff standard equipped.
an old school Jaret and Dado riding vid! All you're missing is drinking a beer in the garage after the ride. Love the BMW.
haha lots more coming!
I just finished watching Manny's video. What i will say is if it's not something caused by what they may have done (tuning, certain engine mods, over revs, etc) then yes, BMW should 100% warranty the engine.
It's all part of the modding process. Depending on what you mod, you run the risk of getting your warranty claim denied. It's why i don't tune my vehicles until after the warranty expires. Stick to appearance mods and maybe some suspension stuff (for my cars).
Superbe vidéo merci
I put a deposit on a Streetfighter and then woke up the next morning with a shock when I realised that it didn't have cruise or heated grips. Cancelled the order and walked straight into the BWW dealership and bought one of these. It's impossible to live without cruise and heated grips if you've lived with that feature on a bike before. That was really the clincher for me and I have owned and love Ducati.
Yeah it honestly does make a massive difference and I think Ducati did kinda drop the ball on that one
@@JaretCampisi
I just got home from a trip to Holland from the UK to visit family. A total journey of around 700 miles on crappy UK roads and super smooth European motorways and the bike is faultless. You can set the riding modes to your own liking and then adjust as you go from rough to smooth roads, and then if it rains a bit (which it did) you can set the RAIN mode and feel safer. Sixth gear pullaways on the motorways will get you up to 160+mph in seconds. It feels like warp drive. It's mental.
The last fifty miles home for me are some great fast twisty A roads that I took at speeds I've never felt comfortable with on my previous bikes, and that was with luggage on the back.
I've covered 5000+ miles on mine now and I'm falling for it more and more.
Hi Jaret, I think the lack of views may be that some people look down on naked bikes as not being a true sport bike. I don't feel that way, but I am sure a lot of your viewers are hard core sport bike riders.
People are always going to be obsessed with the top of the line fastest bikes...all the most popular youtube channels make content with those bikes but I'm just personally kind of over it
Just LOVE the M1000R ❤
Such a great bike!
The bmw looks very nice all different. Colours
Jaret, trust me, if you put a Brentune or any other on the bike and ever have an issue with the engine, it will not be warrantied. Already, the bike is insane and cannot be ridden by mortals even near the limit, why risk it. If it doesn't have it already, just have the Torque Optimization tune from BMW installed. Keep your warranty, brother. Safe riding.
I will keep that in mind thanks!
Cool 😎. Let’s go !
If manny had done the break in properly 600 miles had bmw service it and bmw removed the limiter yes they maybe would of replaced the engine but come on at 400 mines stright on the dyno they not going to cover it
Gave them a good reason to say no.
It literally says in the manual you can do the first service between 350 and 700 miles. The first service is ljust an oil change, so there is no need to do that at the dealer. And finally, CalimotoTV had the exact same thing happen to his bike at 500 miles on the track. He did his own first service, had a full exhaust and bren tune and THEY COVERED HIS but not Mani's.
@@JaretCampisi ture
@@JaretCampisi Let's not forget, in his first video with the bike, that engine did not sound right!!
BMW did a factory recall on a (small,.like 50 machines) batch of 2024 R1300gs and replaced their engines.
They say they noted a quality check of some torque limits not being done.corectly for the.batch. It got publicity here, because the long-term test bike of a magazine was in the batch and they had just completed break-in to start testing.
If money is no object the liter class has a lot of nice options.
But for the road most people would have more fun on a Triumph Street Triple RS or KTM Duke 890R.
Even on those you can barely give it throttle and you're instantly way over the speed limit.
For the price of one Street Fighter V4, M1000R, Tuono Factory you could buy A Duke 890R (they're heavily discounted now with the new Duke 990 being out) and a big Supermoto and have a ton of fun.
The Supermoto 690/700/701 are the most fun bikes.
Super light and fun and you can go full throttle on those on the road without doing 100mph instantly.
I've ridden a few supermoto bikes and I personally am not a fan...I do want to try a few of the Dukes out though I've heard they are a lot of fun
@@JaretCampisi The big Dukes are really good fun.
Have you riden the KTM 693cc single cylinder engine Supermoto ?
SMC-R 690, Husqvarna 701 SM or GasGas SM 700.
They're amazing fun.
Super light.
Loads of torque that pulls you out of corners.
They really are amazing.
And also faster than you'd think.
Up to 70-80mph they can keep up with anything else and there aren't many fun roads where you ride faster than that.
There's a video in uTube where the twat Max Wrist is chasing a KTM SMC-R 690 on his BMW S1000RR and has trouble keeping up.
And hopefully there aren't many people riding on public roads faster than that idiot, so the big Supermotos can hustle if there's a decent rider on it.
Also a light Supermoto bike has other benefits.
It's pretty crash proof where a superbike will brake if it tips over on a parking lot.
On a SuMo you can ride gravel roads and up and down stars and all sorts of sh!it.
Obviously they're great at wheelies, skids and endos
Only thing they don't do well is high ways and long distance.
I rode Superbikes for 2 decades before discovering Supermotos.
Now the SuMo is my fun bike and a Duke 890R is for bigger tracks and distance.
You can and have to flex the engine throughout its rev range under the break in period, but not under full load at a track or on a dyno bench with less than the recommended 600 miles. How impatient are you to need to do that to prove something?
I stretched my M1000R to the maximum revs it was limited to during run-in which, was about 6000rpm, and then at 600 miles it automatically upped its game to 8000rpm until I had the first service at around 720 miles, where I continued to increase the revs and load until around 1200 miles. I mean, you might as well just for peace of mind. I did its first track day this week and revved the shit out of it and no problems. I'm pretty sure that this bike will now continue to bed in better and better over time with regular and careful maintenance. Just like my 27000mile S1000R from 2018.
It's not a fluke when the same type of failure has happened to other M1000rr's. Manny mentioned them in his video. But the most disconcerting thing about that whole video, was the horrible customer service BMW has. You wouldn't think that a premium company like BMW uses 3rd party call centers, and gives their customers the run around when a problem occurs.
love the video
Do a performance harley bagger and not sportster and ill be in. Ive seen some of the other harley builds but seeing how you build bikes it would be something for sure.
I'd love to do a sportster build at some point!
BS clickbait title. This dude has no resources in rural PA to keep this channel going. It’s starting to show.
The title is exactly the way it should be for the topic I covered...
@@JaretCampisi The title suggests YOUR motorcycle blew up!clickbait!
My bike is not an M1000RR...
@@JaretCampisi Not it's not... if you think it is, then you're just deceiving your fanbase...
I used to enjoy your channel a lot more than I do now.
I think anyone who follows these guys knew exactly what he was mentioning in that title. Not clickbait
I regret buying 2024 S1k. Too expensive to be worrying about the engine going bad. On top of that my Houston dealer told me that the warranty will be voided if I change the exhaust and the headers.
that's not true...Mani who had an exhaust and tune was told by BMW his warranty wasn't voided
Love the BMW M1000R it's my Next purchase.
It's a great bike!
If i were to own another European brand, it'd be a BMW for sure!
Could you make a video of your helmet setup with cam and headset?
Sure but I can tell ya by myself I just use a gopro hero 12 with a purple panda mic that is stuffed into my helmet and plugs directly into the gopro. For intercom audio I use a gopro hero4 with a sena bluetooth audio backpack that connects to me sena intercom and that's how I get everyone's intercom audio on the footage.
Ducati REALLY has to step up their game... the BMWs have had heated grips and cruise for a while now... having keyless is so cool, and so is having a fuel gauge and working mirrors lol
Ducati will always have the style going for it, and the brand, but BMW is outdoing them in so many ways nowadays.
Really disappointed in how they handled MMs beemer though... they should be standing behind their product, not look for ways to get out of honoring warranties. I can see a lot of lost sales in the faulty(?) motor and the possibility of them trying to get out of replacing/fixing it, and passing that onto customers.
+1 on Diavel... if I get a oldman bike it'll be a Diavel. lol
One of the mods maybe you guys should do is maybe different bars to push you a bit back for a more upright positions(?) a Ti system will look awesome with that paint scheme.
(im sure the high pitch sound is when the bike turns on and something is priming or something) Have you considered the 360 camera? Even an older model to see suspension working etc would be cool.
Yeah I pretty much agree with everything you've mentioned here haha
@@JaretCampisi Great minds think alike.
Then there’s us two.
Hahaha
The new Harley road glide 3. That is amazing bike
I like the looks and all the tech on these BMW's but the horror stories with the engine's blowing up,would frighten me to death
To buy a motorcycle that feels like an electric bike? NOT IN A MILLION YEARS :-D It will ALWAYS be Ducati in my line up!
Your S1000RR broke your heart dude.
and when you open up the DME, change all of the parameters, over rev it, etc......we will just blame BMW when we blow it up. Anyone that knows that even if you ordered and installed BMW's HP Race ECU, they would void their own warranty on the engine. The DME was modified......if it wasn't, BMW would have warrantied the engine. pretty simple.
Dado sure likes it. ..
Defo an MV Augusta 👍😁
3rd TH-cam video I’ve seen within the last two months that documented the SAME issue with the BMW. I would never buy a BMW bike after hearing BMW is refusing to pay for engine replacements.
❤
Hello may dream bike
Honestly, the only BMW that i would ever consider buying is the S1000RR.
but this is just a more comfortable version of that bike...
BMW makes an excellent bike.
if this is different camera you were using, then gopro footage looked way better compared to this :)
I have to use a gopro hero4 in order to get intercom audio when riding with someone else...otherwise I use a hero 12 when I'm by myself which is obviously much better quality
clickbait
The Streetfighter v4 looks better. End of
Jaret I really love your videos and I 've been watching them since the very beginning! But I believe that your helmet cam needs an update. I got really dizzy from the footage. I know it makes your life easier, especially with the dual audio from the intercom but that stabilization it's just not good anymore. And I really like the rest of your footage, especially the latest DJI updates! Cheers guys!
Unfortunately I still have to use a gopro hero 4 in order to get intercom audio so when others are riding with me its my only option atm
Check Calimoto his m1000r blew up in like 2 weeks
Ahhhhhh completely disagree that BMW should have replaced his motor. What precedent are they saying? They will replace motors that have clearly been mishandled (dyno at 400 miles knowing that the engine was throwing errors?) so long as you have an audience? Warranties are meant to cover manufacturer defects; not owner mishandling.
BMW - Bring More Worries.
Click bait, shame on you JC!
I was why get a SF naked? Bike if your getting 200hp go all the way!! I test road that bike last week and it the best way to spend $$$ I bought a panigale and it’s totally useless on the street!! Totally feels like im going to lunch myself off the mountains and track days are so expensive up here🤬 if i were smarter i would have gotten a tuono or Sf, but they don’t have the same bravado of my panigale! And most SF style bikes are ugly!!
what explodes????
Sounds like BMW isn't backing up it's product. Not good.

Your friends road positioning is dangerous, double amputee isn't a good look, just sayin,.
I liked your video but the clickbait title puts me off your channel.
Oh man.....the title is a "click-bait" with the recent bmw saga.....I was waiting for another BMW Exploded video...waste my time.
Dumb clickbait
YOU RAN THE BIKE AT REDLINE WENT ON TRACKDAY WITH No/400 MILES ON BIKE!! ITS YOUR FAULT!! MOdern engines have very tight tolerances you baby them until mandatory 640 miles service. The oil is FULL of wear in metal. Its so critical to change the oil out at 640 miles if you dont you lose your warranty ...ANY...engine would blow or be seriously damaged ..Motomillion owes you an engine
expensive junk , get rid of it and get a japanese bike before engine failure.
The moment you use aftermarket tuning of the engine. It completely voids warranty. If bmw do it for manny. They are seeing precedent. Bmw are correct on this 1 if above statement is true
That's not true and you clearly didn't watch Mani's video...BMW said his warranty was NEVER VOIDED.

I feel sorry of Mani But dude he did all that work not even being a qualified motorcycle mechanic, and he did heaps air, fuel, lowered motor running temperatures
lets face it!! if you did that with any motor bike manufacturer what do you think would happen 🤷♂🤷♂🤷♂🤷♂
BMW said his warranty was never voided they just didn't want to cover it...I don't think mani did anything wrong
Hi Jaret
man! I don't know who told you that, they voided the warranty, because he did all those changes and serviced? worked on the bike Not, being a qualified Motor bike mechanic
I feel sorry for him but more sorrier for anyone that followed his lead
if you did all that stuff to your Ducati and it blew up, what do you think Ducati would say 😂 I'm sure you know even any manufacturer

You americans would be screwed without german technology.... we are the best !
Def some of the best tech in the world for sure!
@vasjaxx7863 you guys can't even control your own borders or defend your women from getting raped from migrants. But muh tech 😂
Click Bait!!! Sticking a bike on the dyno before it's been properly loosened off what do you expect.
It actually says in the BMW manual you can perform the first service anytime after 350 miles which is what they did...
Euro bike problems
In my opinion it's but ugly, looks really plastic and the colour scheme is awful
The reason why it doesn’t get as many views is because its a bmw , and naked bike . Most viewers are blue collar and ride Japanese bikes and we are more inclined to watch your builds if we can relate and also watch you guys mod the bike and we do the same mods to our bikes. The smallest percent have a m1000rr , the other 90% ride Japanese rockets.
Well that doesn't check out because the brand of bikes that get the most views on my channel are Ducati's...so how would you explain that one?
@@JaretCampisiwe are dreamers!
