Bansko what the city looks like in summer?
The town of Bansko is a mountain skiing and leisure resort in southwestern Bulgaria, located at the foot of the Pirin Mountains, at an altitude of 925 m above sea level.
Bansko competes with resorts in France and Switzerland, due to lower prices but also due to improvements made to the infrastructure and organization of the ski area on Todorka. A gondola was built from the city in 2003, replacing the minibus ride to the main base area of Banderishka Poliana. Since 2010, the ski resort has 75 km of ski slopes, 14 ski lifts and other facilities, which can carry up to over 20,000 people per hour. So skiing and unlimited fun.
