    Additional Fun Lore:
    - each GK bolt round is specially handcrafted and then is consecrated in the blood of an devout Imperial citizen. They put the round in a bowl, kneel the person over the bowl, and then slit their throat. The blood of the holy helps make the round potent against chaos foes
    - GK too injured or old go across the universe seeking potential initiates and no world is off limits, to include all Space Marine recruitment worlds
    - GK ships are specially modified with engines and wards to allow them to travel the Warp far faster than any other ship in the Imperium. This allows them to arrive at locations of Chaos incursions faster than closer regular forces
    - there is a special GK deemed more pure than others that guard a secret beneath their fortress monastery in locked vaults. Every few years their is noise and tremors from below. They lock all the doors and this brotherhood goes below. Only when everything stops do they unlock the doors and return to the monastery, saying nothing
    - it is said the Grandmaster of the GK has a sealed box given by the Emperor that is only to be opened when humanity is moments away from being destroyed and consumed by chaos. It is rumored that it would destroy the Golden Throne this killing the Emperor, allowing either his rebirth or apotheosis into the fifth God

Lore note: what makes Grey Knights so special is because they are so pure and their gene seed. They maintain their purity through a strict and brutal recruitment process that only sees 1 in 1000 survive the first trial. The very few who have survived all the way to become initiated have proven they can control their will and psychic powers.
Then they are implanted with their geneseed. The special part of this is unlike other marines having one based on their primarch, the GK have theirs based off the genome of the Emperor. This increases their abilities, but makes them more pure and incorruptible. Additionally they have hexagrammic wards implanted into their skin to also defend against daemons and Chaos powers.
With this purity they can then be equipped with the most potent tools in the Imperium, such as Nemesis force weapons, psyrounds, the grenades with emperor dust, etc. All this combined is what makes them better than a normal marine.

I've never really gotten into 40K, but this looks like an interesting take on turn-based tactical.

it get's, extremely hard. I wager, harder than Aliens: Dark Descent even.
