I know everyone says it all the time, but the editing just gets better and better. More and more editing freedom is paying off imo.
It has been a good streak of videos with outstanding edits. Every video I want to say that video was specially good in that regard, but it is not just this video or that video. Every video lately has had amazing edits to the point that I am trying to make time to interact somehow so that both poo and weskill make more for their efforts.
I did not expect to be hearing Moonsetter in 2021 in a hack GrandPoobear was playing.

He should've used a "Sharp" TV for sarcasm points instead of Panasonic.
Since so many people are commenting on the music: after you start the game and you get that little welcome message (before the first stage really starts), the background music is an underrated banger from Crystalis for the NES. It's the song you hear near the end of the game, going up the floating tower.
I've never played nor heard of that game, but I do have an audio file I stumbled across on OCRemix years ago.
It drove me mad trying to figure out where I heard that track.
@@bstachutheuneatable1727 Crystalis is worth a try if you're a fan of action RPG's. Good soundtrack for the NES. One unfair feature is that if you're underleveled for an area or a boss, you literally do no damage at all, but apart from that it's a solid game with some interesting game mechanics (four elemental swords).

Dispensing great talk with great gameplay, the "play games with few streamers" is so very true. I realize about every comment here on TH-cam for GPB is a SMW ROM hack because that's my thing. The more niche a game that interests me, the more special it gets to be in a group with others who always love it. Which ties exactly into the first point of loving the game you play.

@@Hermanos22 Mario shouldn't be any particular color. Mario's color affects absolutely none of the game play at all. If a creator wants to make Mario black, they can. If you don't like it, you can go play any number of legit Nintendo Mario games or the nigh infinite rom hacks where Mario is white.

I’m equal parts disappointed and relieved WeSkillNow didn’t put together a nose-mining montage here.
GPB didn't get partnered right away because his first two essays were about how his ability to power through hard Mario hacks proved that he wouldn't have a "heated gaming moment" even though he was really feeling heated while gaming at particular moments.
As jank as that water on/off level was, the switches reading M or S for Mario and Shell telling you how to activate the switch is a nice touch.

Concerning you playing mario vs GTA i think the reason i prefer your mario series is because i feel like they are more episode to episode and i feel less like i NEED to watch all of them. I do still watch from time to time though. As always all of your content is still entertaining to watch.

I streamed for an hour once before I realized that I was live. I was grinding a Westslasher shell level and I had more viewers than I do when I actually try to stream.

Good talk about streaming at 15:20, I've got a friend who's trying to get through that "Do I really want to keep doing this" bump right now with his boardgaming stream but he's still pulling 5-6 viewers most streams.

I think the reason that people focus on getting viewers on Twitch is that anymore getting viewers is the hardest part of the puzzle to put together to advance on Twitch. I've been on there for 4 years, played only games I enjoy, and I don't yet have the average of 3 viewers per stream that twitch requires for you to apply for affiliate, not even partner. New viewers do not show up nearly as often as they used to, and most of them quickly move on to someone more established. When very few people were established on twitch, new viewers simply showed up much more often. I have had all the other requirements for more than 2 years, some of them for 3 years. I stream enough. I have more than twice the number of followers. But viewers...they just don't show up in the first place the way they used to. And they don't stick around long enough to count toward the average. I've taken to dual-streaming to TH-cam and Twitch, (what the heck, I'm not affiliated, so I don't have to choose) and I git ten times the new viewers on TH-cam as I do on Twitch. If only they counted as Twitch viewers.....

The "broth" of cereal is usually something like milk. That said, the cereal itself is usually not from meat or veggies, so I think you're talking about the the cereal itself and not the broth.

Yup, original by Tamayo Kawamoto, though the reinterpretation, as drmr described it, is by Tim Follin, used in home computers like C64, Amiga, and Atari ST.
@@brickblock369 What I specifically meant by "reinterpretation" is the SNES version in this rom hack. It deviates a bit from the "original" official versions. (And yes, the Tim Follin versions are marvellous, especially the incredible C64 version which I even find superior to Kawamoto's arcade original.)

We need to stop worrying about other people being overpaid and start worrying about why we are being underpaid if we are ever going to start getting paid fair money. And I mean all of us. I already think that I am making a fair amount for the work that I am doing, but what about everyone else?
The problem is almost everyone think they're being underpaid when they're not...
My clown opinions: I am not inherently afraid of clowns, but any person who decides to wear variations on mime make-up to spend their time with young children has probably got some issues and I will choose to avoid them.
I think a lot of people, especially GTA RP people, think of you as that first. Some people think of you as a Link streamer. I think you're just the best streamer.
