Hot take: I'm from the east coast and have lived my life eating thin crust pizza and it's fantastic. I've been to Chicago a couple of times and had deep dish there and it's fantastic. They're not the same thing, and when I am craving one, I don't really want the other, but I want them both at different times. Pizza is just lit, no matter how you do it.
All the deep dish i've had in Chicago was garbo. To this day and about 20 trips to Chi-town on business, i've had 18 different shops Deep Dish and it's just been meh.

Allow me to introduce pineapples.
Im a thin crust guy myself. Ive visted chicago and tried the "famous deep dish" pizza they have while i was there. It was so liquidy and greasy. It was more like a nasty cheese soup in a soggy bread bowl imho. Might as well serve it with a straw. Yuck. But to each their own. Itd be so boring if we all liked the same stuff.
I think that this is the one true take. Different widths of pizza make for different enough experiences that they are almost different dishes. They are at the very least for very different cravings. Some people will never crave one or the other, and that's fine. But for most people, I think that it really depends on what you are craving. As for me, I'll take anything as long as it is heavy on the cheese.
I feel NY pizza is the king of kings...but I enjoy most pizza. I've had some great deep dish pizza. I live in Miami and there is actually Cuban pizza (it's good).
But apparently I'm also a monster because I love Hawaiian pizza.

Frenchie here, our pizzas have merguez sausage and/or chorizo, best pizzas ever.
I could never understand why some people hate on certain kinds of pizza. Any day where I have any kind of pizza in my house is a good day for me, personally. In the Bay Area, we have a ton of Indian pizza joints (e.g. tandoori chicken pizza, paneer pizza, etc.), and it's one of the most delicious takes on pizza I've ever had

There is so much variety of pizza available where I am. Everything except the deep dish stuff that is practically pie (and even that is probably somewhere here).
My preference is for a fluffy pizza base, topped with tomato paste, lots of chicken, big chunks of pineapple, and mozzarella.

Funny that the double jump level uses a music from Rudra no Hihou (btw : banger), just like the double jump level in Invictus did (and it was a banger too). Would be great if that was on purpose.
