These are such amazing models, I would love to have and build one of these with my son. I have been in the RC hobby for many years now, going back to being a child over 30yrs ago and watching my father build his planes (from full kits that required cutting out and gluing every single balsa wing spar). I have built my own planes (from trainer to sport kits with nitro engines), helicopters (including Align T-Rex 450 from kit with Spectrum AR 7200 BX all in one receiver/gyro), quad copter / drones, and high speed off road AWD RC trucks/cars. We have even dabbled in boats and submarines. My father belonged to a club locally here in NY where I grew up, and I have been involved since, however things were a lot different with the technology in the late 80's with Ni-Mh and AM/FM crystal transmitters. I have always had a passion for everything RC, and my son now shares this with me (he is almost 8 now). Unfortunately this hobby is expensive and time consuming, so with my wife and I both working full time to support our two little ones (7 and 11) , there is no longer the funding available for me to afford this hobby, so all my RC stuff sits in the basement. I would love to build and test things like these vehicles here, even if we had to do reviews after completion then dismantle and send it back afterwards. Half the fun for us is assembling and building RC models, the other half is operating them. Excellent video, this was great to watch come together in this video. Maybe someday I will be able to afford the hobby to pick up my transmitters again, get new batteries and knock the dust off all my nitro planes and fly them again. There is an RC club just 7min from my home. If you ever need someone to help market these with great feedback and honest reviews, please reach out to me, we would be honored to take on one of these builds to test something like these vehicles. Thank you for sharing this video, this really made me miss the hobby.

You can still build balsa airplanes. There's a plethora of free plans on the web. A lot of them have a history of popularity such as the Goldberg Gentle Lady. Hobby Lobby has balsa, plywood, and basswood if no one else near you does. You can work up a shopping list. Shouldn't be too expensive. A razor saw will go a long way to help. Be advised that 1/16"/1.5 mm thick balsa cuts very nicely with decent scissors. You don't need to cut everything with an Xacto knife.
There are a few kits of recent manufacture available if you look around the many shopping sites. You can even motorize Guillows rubber powered balsa planes. They're still made. There are also plank and frame wood boat kits that last i knew started ~$50. I think Dumas was the name. I've even seen them in a few hobby shops. There's one store in particular on Cape Cod that carried quite a selection. I no longer live in the northeast to check.
Vintage kits however are usually insanely overpriced by greedy sellers. From what I can see they don't sell very many of them at those prices. Enjoy!

I appreciate you guys uploading this video 😂 I was not sure how to correctly bleed the brakes, and program the system to the transmitter. I think I got it now 👍🏾

Еси бы я так прокачивал тормоза, мне бы руки оторвали по самые плечи. Методом проб и ошибок, видно что справился.
