I do recommend it, once you know it a little bit it's easy enough to use. The solo dev is putting in some tremendous work to make it better and has even added a new drawing tool, which is nice for minor edits.
I don't go over walking, but I do go over some of the ways you can attach the bones in Part 3. The main thing you want to do is make sure both legs are seperated, either by images or by mesh points.
