lol tell your hubby I am sorry. Did the fuse on my video fix your machine? You n the future the only dryer you should buy is a speed queen commercial. All other consumer dryers suck.
Great video! Helped me fix a free dryer I got off marketplace, thrown in with the washer. Since this piece is a fuse, there isn’t a positive and negative- it’s just an open or closed link. Put your multimeter on “continuity” to buzz it or use resistance and make sure the resistance is low (connected). I just shorted out the switch with a jumper and it worked. Now I’ll get the replacement in the mean time.
Thanks for watching. I am glad I was able to save you some $$. I don’t have a multimeter or otherwise I would have used it in the video. Please give the video a thumbs up if you can.
lol, my dryer is part of the 15%, it’s the door sensor you talked about at the end of the video. But seriously, thank you for your video it was just what I needed.
My dryer stopped today out of nowhere. You helped me prove my husband wrong! 😂 however, this means I don’t get a new dryer for my birthday. Lol

Easiest fix ever, you are the man! Saved me $100!
Awesome! I am glad I could help. I extended the life between fuses by turning the temp down to medium instead of high.
Thanks for this video was able to fix it myself. Will say I find it a bad design feature that the heat element still works if this thing trips.
Appliances these days are just poorly designed. If you called a tech out and he fixed the same little part it would cost at lease $250.
Great Video. Thanks for this.
Thanks for watching. I hope I was able to help.
Super helpful video.
Thanks for watching. I hope you were able to get your dryer working.
Where do you get your parts to replace the broken part
Thanks for watching. I believe the link to the thermostat fuse is in the description. I hope this video helped you.

Thanks for your video. My MAYTAG DRIER MASCHINE is the same like your and maybe has the same problem, I need someome to check it out .😪
Thanks for watching. Dryers these days are mostly junk. Just a service call to fix what I showed will be atleast $250. I hope I was able to help.
Your sensors needed to be replaced its allowing the system to get too hot
Thank you for the input. The sensors have already been replaced prior to this video.
Unstop your vent an it wont burn the fuse
The vent hose to the outside of my house is clean.
So your coils will heat and the drum won’t run. How is that safe? Stupid Maytag!😂
I agree it can definitely be a fire hazard I believe.
If your wife does multiple loads every day. Maybe you need to buy those kids more clothes.
lol we have 3 kids and enough clothes to fill the bed of my 3/4 ton truck.
