Those foreigns were pretty cool. Unfortunately, because of my location in the middle of nowhere, I only ever get a foreign once in a while in my hunts. Also, I think you should keep the dimes in the folder. It's the combination of both the genuine old dimes and the folder that gives the whole thing its charm.
Nice video, thanks. Also thanks for posting, so I (and others too) can keep the statistics on the frequency of silver. The fact you got 14 in your last 2 boxes gave me hope. Let me share my finds for dimes. I got 2 silver dimes in 71 rolls about 3 weeks ago, last week I also got 2 silver (1952 and 1968) out of 60 rolls. Yesterday, I picked up rolls from 5 different branches and just opened 6 rolls out of about 58 or so, and already got a silver (1965). I do a few every night to keep my fun and hope alive, an watching your videos is almost as fun... I pick up both quarters and dimes when I visit branches. Last time I got 60 rolls of quarters, and no silver, but from the 38 rolls I picked up Wednesday, I got a 1964 on my 5th roll! Hope is still alive, but it's strange to find 1 silver coin and the 39 other coins are those 2001+ plated and not even a full nickel quarter... Hoping these stats keep our hopes alive... And I try to avoid those white machine rolls, as they seem to be ARP and have nothing before 2001. When I go to banks, I try to ask any kind of rolls except those white rolls. Sometimes that's not easy because they don't even know what I mean... Have nice Holidays and happy hunting!

Bear in mind, of course, that includes the 2 boxes where I found 14 in total. So, most boxes have no silver, but some will be great. Keep hunting! You're doing well with silver so far!!
Nice low mintage on that Bermuda, I'd assume other small island nations have similar low mintages even if you can't find them anywhere now. Very interesting hunt as (almost) always James! 😉

Hi, just stumbled on this video, I would ask a question, what are the real options to unload a box or individual rolls of copper pennies at a reasonable price (obviously not face value). Thanks in advance.
I don't think there's a strong market for it at the moment. It's illegal to melt Canadian coins, so it's not an alternative for buisnesses that need raw copper. Presumably it could trade like Canadian junk/scrap silver, which people buy and sell based on the melt value (even if they have no intention of melting). I think copper would have to appreciate a fair bit. At the moment, the best option would be to post it online for either collectors or for those making crafts with copper pennies..

Question I have been watching your channel and have been averaging about 1-2 silver quarter finds per 1000$ of quarters and around 2-4 dimes per 500$ search would you say this is about right? I'm curious cause i plan on doing a video on the subject for new silver stackers in Canada... if your curious my over all recommendation is going to be to steer clear unless you are also a coin collector, TH-camr, or just have an over all excitement about the possibility of treasure finding and wanna spend the time. I think your finds are pretty representative of what one might expect. I'd have to agree with you. It's a lot if time and effort, and if all your looking for is silver, it might not be worth the time. You have to really enjoy the process!
So I got 3 boxes from my main bank over like 2 weeks lol, they cut me off, ipissed off the manager, but the tellerslived me lol I brought them chocolates Anyways I found 3 silver over the 3 boxes, 1, then 2, then 0 So I went to the bank a town over to geta box to do over christmas, 50 clear plastic rolls, I wasnt hopeful looking at the edges on the ride home, not much american which I also collect Anyways about 20 rolls in I dump a roll out and grab the first coin, a 1968, cool, it didn't stick to a magnet, my first silver, then I see a king George head, I thought awesome 80% silver, then they all looked silver I was like weird and waved my magnet over the whole roll, not a single coin stuck to my magnet A WHOLE ROLL OF SILVER, did someone roll up a coin reject slot or something I dunno Then another 10 rolls in I find a roll with another 7 silvers This box produced 57 silvers, only my fourth box ever, I'm going to get a box from this bank every month I think, dont want to get cut off like from my main branch
