I drove the same truck for work, for about 3 years. What a beast she was, my was a 18 speed manual. The only problem I had was, the covers to change the headlights didn’t hold a seal great, during a rain the bulb would pop and stop working. But other than that it was a bad ass truck. And I hauled 128000 everyday. Awesome truck
You have probably forgotten more than most people have ever known! I’m always impressed of what you and your team tackle and fix . Yes pedal to the floor works best with the auto transmission I’ve always found and also you can lift shifter handle up at a stop to start out in a higher gear!
FINALLY, been wonderin' jus' when you were gonna "feature" the Fruitliner !! I watched Steve's vid, loadin' 'n deliverin'. KEEP using him, I get the "sneak previews", Ange !! 🤗😂🤣
Looks like you're doing a real nice job, Alex. That's a good looking truck. Andy That's gonna work out real nice once you get it modified to your likings. Sarah. you look like you had a late night. That's all right. We've all been there. Thanks for sharing Andy.
The automated transmissions are so smooth. I know truckers who complained when the companies they drove for started buying them saying they wanted to keep driving the manuals. Eventually all of the manual trucks were replaced and they had to drive the automated. It didn't take long before they had to admit that they liked them.
You have lately been getting beautiful trucks for the farm. Are the employees good about taking care of trucks. Many farms run junk, your family and employees are lucky to have great equipment to run. Again nice rig Andy !!!!
Nice truck Andy, Sarah's going to love it after she's driven it a bit, I've run an ozzie 114 for 11 years, shakes n rattles but goes everywhere it's asked to do.
Great video andy i hope sarah does drive that freight shaker i remember watching what she started carting in does Charlotte get 1 off the straight trucks this silage season keep the great work happening and who cares if the girls are quiet its great to see them 😊😊😊😊
At work we just got a 2016 Just like that but not as nice, came from Massachusetts. DD16 600hp, 18 spd auto shift, 14.6/46 full lockers. We put the tank up on the frame rails. Should be on the tanker Tommorrow.
I worked at a farm that had a Sterling semi that had the same style shifter. I didn't drive it much but was one of the first semis I ever drove and was very easy to drive
Hey Andy, if you can manage the time please see if you can get some footage of your eclipse event. I think your area is supposed to be in the path of totality. Thanks.
That ain't a bad looking truck. The Freightliner is due really rattle. I don't know why because you have the same engine in a different road tractor and it doesn't vibrate lol. But we've got three of those freight liners and they do all right. Did you find that one online site unseen?
390 gears should be fine for what you’re doing. I run 336 gears for over the road trucking. The newer engines are designed to run at a lot lower rpm than the older ones. If you have to low gears you’ll end up over rev the engine.
I just had that happen to me… Fuel company comes up to our W 900 sitting on a jobsite (not our fuel guy) grabs his pipe wrench to take the cap off the hydraulic tank because I have a very tight to prevent that from happening, gets the cap off, fills the hydraulic tank up with fuel and goes about his day.. so not only did he filled the wrong tank labeled "hydraulic oil" with diesel fuel, but he filled the wrong customers truck with diesel fuel lol.
Andy, I think Sarah wasn´t really happy to take the tank off from the truck. Better handover the camera to her and let her do the interview while you working, how about that?
Good looking truck Andy. If 1/4 of men in the county worked 1/2 as hard as you and your family there would no welfare.thanks😊
I love how your kids all act like they're in witness protection.
Sweet truck Andy.
Best regards from Indiana.
Woo-hoo new truck looking good thanks for showing us the manure pit I forgot u put one at Jereds house
your daughters are wielders, mechanics, truckers, technicians, and future farmhand makers all rolled up into one pretty package.
Farm kids tend to be like that. 👍
Wielders is a new one. lol
@@Darryl603 🤔😯
Ahh nothing like a fff video on a Sunday afternoon to kick back and relax and have a few laughs let’s see how much is mucho broken 😂

Nice truck Andy, I'm sure it will be a credit to the fleet..
Cheer up Sarah, people would think you have just come back from a funeral..

Steve is a good man .
Thank you👍😀
Hi Andy !
Nice truck !
Good job !
Thanks Andy for your time and everybody have a good day at the farm ! 🙋♂️
FINALLY, been wonderin' jus' when you were gonna "feature" the Fruitliner !!
I watched Steve's vid, loadin' 'n deliverin'.

I like the color Andy, but it's not your red & black favorite. Thanks for showing it to us, it was a long wait to get a good look, very nice truck. 👍

Good video! Looks like the girls are not to happy

Smile Sarah it isn’t that bad!!!
Sarah's got a big truck now...Sarah's got a big truck now...gotta be like her big sister. Nice rig though.
The truck Alex drives is not Andy's truck.
Thank you for another great video. Cheers
Great video Andy, thank you.
Nice addition to the farm fleet.
I'm always impressed with all your kids' skills, talent, and no how.
God Bless
Sarah you have a great looking truck for sure. I have the up most respect for Andy daughters. And his whole family.
That’s a good looking truck!
Andy your chauffeur look less than impressed to be on camera today. Good looking truck.
Way to go Sarah 👍
Probably 565 hp. We use lots of 3.91 ratio in Canada. Work very good on gravel and logging
99/100 thick and thin does the job! A little loose is better than howling tight
nice truck wishing you good luck with it
Nice addition to the fleet. Great video.
Nice truck Andy, Sarah's going to love it after she's driven it a bit, I've run an ozzie 114 for 11 years, shakes n rattles but goes everywhere it's asked to do.
Awesome video thanks Andy nice job good looking truck 🚛🚛🚛🚛
Sharp looking Freightliner!👍
Another good one Andy Nice truck Andy 🚚 👍🇺🇲
A nice looking Truck, Andy. Good job getting it set up.
PTO pump not giving the shaft to someone. Nice, all one piece. The washer the thick and thin will see you through the shifting of the gears.
Enjoyed your video Andy have a great day. Thanks
The poop truckin Hourigan Sisters!
Great video andy i hope sarah does drive that freight shaker i remember watching what she started carting in does Charlotte get 1 off the straight trucks this silage season keep the great work happening and who cares if the girls are quiet its great to see them 😊😊😊😊
Andy, I enjoyed the way you gave me the left handed birdie finger. Quietly you let us all know your left middle finger is long..
That is a strong (good looking) Detroit powered truck.
A mighty pretty truck for hauling cow shit.
DAMN !!!!! you are spending some Dollars these days Andy !!! :D
As he said in the earlier video, they are setting up the farm for next generation ownership transfer.
Hi Andy, you might want to look into a Side Dump trailer they are quite good at saving space while dumping just a thought. Love the videos
Tell me as I have never seen one up close ,if you were to cart gain to a hopper how do they work ? Thanks in advance
Wow, you always impress me with how little phases you! Pretty truck!
On second thought forgot about dumping grains rear dump is better.
Lol the freightshaker comment got me laughing. Ik it was coming. Brand new they rattle
Not a fan of the newer trucks but hey each their own. 😊
I drove a freight shaker plow truck for many years, but the salt overcome it
Nice looking truck Andy! I do prefer manual transmissions but fully understand the autos can be better with multiple drivers in the seats.
Nice looking rig Andy.
It's real easy to convert Muncie pto's to splined output. Probably the hotshift pto is a better option without a clutch pedal.
At work we just got a 2016 Just like that but not as nice, came from Massachusetts. DD16 600hp, 18 spd auto shift, 14.6/46 full lockers. We put the tank up on the frame rails. Should be on the tanker Tommorrow.
It looks real clean, going to keep the color.
Sounds like you better get another MAS trailer on order, Sarah will be giving up her straight silage truck!
Good job guys
That is a nice truck and it should do well for you guys keep r clean
I drove a automated tractor
And the way it shifted drove me nuts I will keep my manual trans nice looking truck for a Freightliner
Nice looking Rig nice addition to the fleet.
Very nice addition
I worked at a farm that had a Sterling semi that had the same style shifter. I didn't drive it much but was one of the first semis I ever drove and was very easy to drive
Probably an Allison in that one
@@FarmingFixingFabricating could have been. I'm not even sure what year the truck was
bought a good one, those are pretty good trucks, dont see much of em at the dealer, not the worst to work on
I used to make parts for the Eaton transmissions. The clutch is actuated by a servo.
That ultra shift seems nice but its something thats gonna break easy and cost a fortune to fix
Why don’t you just split the 100 gallon tank instead of buying another tank? Thanks for the videos.
Easier said than done
Was Alex wearing a welding jacket, either way that jacket looks cool.
Yes Lincoln welding jacket
Allison will go thru mud way better. Auto shift tend to spin out when shifting. Advise using manual mode to help this situation.
Good looking tr😊there Andy
We run 355 gears with 18 speed manual Eaton 285/75/22.5 tires grossing 96,000 in Iowa and we dump a lot of aglime in the field and the gearing is good
👍
She likes it Andy. I saw a slight sign of a smile! 😊 P S keep it clean inside Sarah, remember.
Try to eck out a thought for the day from Sarah or Alex, they may surprise us,thanks andy
Nice tractor/horse!!! Who's gunna get it?? Andrew!?!?😊
Nice truck. I have to ask again how do I order one of the sweat shirts with the chopper picture on the back. Thanks
What size are you?
Hey Andy, if you can manage the time please see if you can get some footage of your eclipse event. I think your area is supposed to be in the path of totality. Thanks.
Sharp looking truck.
Everybody acts like they are mad at each other.
Nice truck! I was wondering if you don’t have to manually shift the gears, does that make you a steering wheel holder?😁
Being a factory pto switch surprised there isn't a pto light in the dash somewhere
I would run auto mode majority of the time on the road and use manual for off road depending on traction
I ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO ANDY 😊
.. 13 speed ultra shift...?? Nice.... I was hoping for a 2 stick Spicer....
Them days are over
Real trucks have 2 sticks!!!!👍
Nice truck. Don't think Alex wanted to be seen on camera today.
(Sarah)
Is that a small reception pit right at the corner of the barn where the blue barrel sits? Or is there something else going on right there?
Are you getting rid of holding tank for milk and loading directly into milk trucks
Is that Sarah new ride 👍🚜
I like Steve's International

Well wear hope it lucky
Your keeping Steve busy lately with all your purchases…
390 gears should be fine for what you’re doing. I run 336 gears for over the road trucking. The newer engines are designed to run at a lot lower rpm than the older ones. If you have to low gears you’ll end up over rev the engine.
If you have a quality welder in your area they can split your current tank and weld in a divider.
Yes for the same money as a new one
How long till fuel gets put in the hyd tank or hyd oil gets put into the fuel tank??
I just had that happen to me… Fuel company comes up to our W 900 sitting on a jobsite (not our fuel guy) grabs his pipe wrench to take the cap off the hydraulic tank because I have a very tight to prevent that from happening, gets the cap off, fills the hydraulic tank up with fuel and goes about his day.. so not only did he filled the wrong tank labeled "hydraulic oil" with diesel fuel, but he filled the wrong customers truck with diesel fuel lol.
@@Adam_Poirier can’t fix stupid!
Not legally anyway lol...
Lock the hydraulic tank.
Hello!
Tomboy,s. R. Ok❤
Sarah always seems like shes in a bad mood lol
Andy just curious is that a ken worth that Steve drives?
International
You talked about a “Satalite Manure Storage Spot” . Is that an area you store extra manure till you have time to spread it on appropriate fields ?
Yes
Andy, I think Sarah wasn´t really happy to take the tank off from the truck. Better handover the camera to her and let her do the interview while you working, how about that?
Yep they are called freight shakers for a reason
Will that Sarah's haul truck Andy?
Uh oh, that truck uses donkey pee. Govt juice. Good luck! Great details in a great video!
So Andy, Why the delay .. Everyone here is pretty sure that’s Sarah’s new truck, she deserves it..❤
Delay?
@@FarmingFixingFabricating .. I love the show, and didn’t mean anything by that.. lol
Just wanted to find out if it’s Sarah’s new truck..🍻
