    • @TableTopReadyYouTube
      @TableTopReadyYouTube  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      honestly, you can use what ever undercoat you have, just know that you may have to do more layers is all. I chose the death guard green because its a base colour so gives you good coverage. I just chose grey seer because I like brighter looking miniatures. If you are going to paint a primer on to your miniature just make sure to give it a clean with some soapy water using washing up liquid, this will get rid of any release agent that's used, then the paint will stick better :D good look

      I would mix 1/2 a pot of flash gitz yellow with 1 pot of deathguard green. That is plenty for a whole army 👍🏻

    Question
    Im thinking of getting into warhammer on a Ork army is it one clan or multiple clans
    Ty

    • @TableTopReadyYouTube
      @TableTopReadyYouTube  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's awesome that your going to start the Hobby :D Ork Clans really are themes of an army. So for example, I have an Ork army made up of the Goffs clan. Each Clan will give you access to different rules in the game. There are different types of Ork units with in an army though. There are ways of mixing clans but it really depends, at the end of the day you do what you want to do, it's your hobby. you can paint them how ever you want and then apply what ever rules at the time of the game

      It’s not very close to be honest. Although the same steps can be used and you’ll get some really nice looking Orks you won’t get the same vibrant feel

    • @TableTopReadyYouTube
      @TableTopReadyYouTube  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Orks don't measure :P I just kind of eyeball it to be honest. its not going to make a huge difference if its more or less, its okay to just estimate. you can pore from a fresh pot or a pot that you already have.

    The stores near me are sold out of Death Guard Green, but I do have Loren Forest. Would that work?

    • @TableTopReadyYouTube
      @TableTopReadyYouTube  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The reason death guard green is used is because it's a Base colour, it has more pigment than a Layer paint. If you don't have Death guard, I would try using Deathworld forest or castellan green as these are also Base paints. If you do use Loren Forest just be aware you may need to do a few more layers to get the same coverage. As well the colour may not be the same as in my tutorial using a different green. Experiment and see what you like, but if you're planning on painting a whole army this way then I really recommend getting hold of some death guard green for best results. I've tried different mixes and this was the best one for me personally. it'll be worth the wait :D
