I’ve never heard of this composer, but this piece is beautiful! I’ll have to look up more of his work
I first heard a piece by him in 1970, when the high school choir (which I was the rehearsal pianist for) sang this: th-cam.com/video/rqGdeH_bw-I/w-d-xo.html It made a big impression on me, and I've been a fan ever since.
I recommend his Requiem. Paul McCreesh did a great recording.
