Agreed. I love these, and I hope they keep doing them, regardless. Please don’t worry that these may not seem as popular, girls- there are a bunch of us who love them! ☺️❤️
was it that mediocre though? the viewers are the same if not slightly more than similar videos published at the same time. If anything, I think that they're rather long so they are not clicked by the occasional viewer
Watched once on Patreon, back again. Thank you for doing these, they are so so good! Love a Char voiceover and how seamlessly Glennda has integrated into the Novympia Cinematic Universe.
You guys HAVE to start a series of "Grim Tours"!!!!! I'm talking about weekly or monthly! You guys are SO GOOD at this! Like potato chips..........I can't have just ONE!!!!! I'm truly shocked Channel 4 or the BBC hasn't approached you for this series!!! EXCELLENT WORK!!!
Ready for Prime Time! This was the best Tour yet. The mix of true crime and paranormal was perfection. Not played for laughs a'tall, each member of the team proved to be a great storyteller. Char's "Dorset, arrrr" was a refreshing breather from the heartbreak of The Attic Children. Another welcome brief distraction from the eery and sad was Nova's closeup in boy makeup at the twins' tree. Stunning look. Can't wait to see what you come up with for Grim Tour 4!
Hi guys. Thank you so much for doing this! I know that this tour is supposed to be grim with ghosts and tales of true crimes, but I must say, the visuals of this tour are stunning! The buildings are beautiful and have so much character. And the water is gorgeous!
Char is really good with the voiceovers. Amazing job to all this year as always!! No disrespect in any way, but Glena's kind of a stone cold fox! Yum! The scruff and ballcap is working! 💋 Edit to say loving Nova's look today. SLAAAAYYY!!
The tales of the pirates, ghosts, and learning Lush started there were all very interesting! I love local folktale-type stories and history, as someone from the US I hadn't even heard of Poole before, so this was all fascinating! This is very well produced, I love the details like at 47:08 where Harry's ship appears on the horizon like the story and disappears after the guy walks by!
I am weird because I love the Grim Tours! The Landlady of the Crown seemed so welcoming. Poor Vivienne, short and plump. Maybe I will be memorialised in such illustrative language!
Maybe this reflects an issue of my mind but I find your tours calm, not the subject matter , but it feels like I am spending time with friends. Yes yes parasocial relationships but currently living with people who make me miserable, so you four remind me so much of my lovely friends and happy times. These tours are things we are fascinated by. ❤
I'm a total Death Hag and these vids are my absolute favorite! You all do such a great job and I love watching the four of you together on your adventures! Top notch content as always! 💕
So glad you've decided to keep this series going. I'm just as excited as I've been the last two years, amazing job. The editing just keeps getting tighter and better, and the visual effects give me a proper TV docu-series! x
Please tell me there will be a part four??? I love this series so much, I'd be heart broken if there isn't more! Watching all them today's gotten me in the witchy, paranormal mood despite being blazing hot in June! As a Coloradan you all would have such a fun time exploring all our paranormal locations. So much history here that even when you don't get a paranormal experience you learn so much.
love these - each year better than the last and loving the visual edits - like watching 'unsolved mysteries'. yeah the twin stories was creepy ... looking to next year's 'grim tooer fooer" 🤣
Another great addition to the grim tour collection! 🖤 That hotel manager was a legend! Hearing the Afterlife theme music now makes me wanna rewatch the series 🥲x
I love that you’re branching out, I’d love to see a uk tour, share the famous ones non brits might not know and the small ones brits might not know! Love this series
These have just gotten better as the years have gone on, I still think Novympia is the best Patreon sub I've ever made if only for the amazing Halloween content. Thank you girls!
These grim tours are great for those of us in the Venn diagram in between "loves spooky" and "loves history" 🥰 btw I grew up in coastal New England and I must say, historic Poole reminds me a lot of places like Salem. Lots of interesting history there :)
Girls, i didn't realize that part 2 had a mediocre reception because this is my absolute favorite series from your channel and i can't wait for next year's ✨🍂
I might be two weeks late for this but I cannot tell y'all how excited I am to see you did a third part to the Grim Tour of Bournemouth. I do not understand how there was a mediocre response to the second part because I have waited all year to see if you were doing a third part. Thanks for this. Also, I saw a moment of Char in Trixie Mattel's video last week and I was so proud. 😊 She was a perfect Trixie, damn it, and that picture of her on the counter of a shop was just perfect. Now.... time for my favorite Grim Tour Guides to entertain me while I clean my dirty house. Lmao Much love to you all! "Financially Embarrassed" is going to be my new favorite way to describe the crushing poverty I live in. It sounds so much better than "poor as all hell". 😂
Really enjoyed this, your delivery was very respectful and professional.. .the choice of music was lovely and that sunset was beautiful, a perfect ending..Well done, more please!
I'm a bit ticked off because TH-cam failed with the notification for this video that I've been waiting all year for. Serves me right for not checking in. Brilliantly spooky video, my dears! I love Char's narration!
oh these are getting so professional now - absolutely love the ‘new’ location. how lucky you are to live by the seaside! I wonder if the two twins stories got conflated over time, and the true story lies somewhere in the middle? either way, desperately tragic. Hate that Lilian’s murder is still unsolved. Rest in peace, Lilian.
OMG, no way! I watched part one and two a few days ago and was wondering if you would make a new video this year. This is such a treat! Thanks guys for all your effort you put in these videos 🥰
I love this series so much. This might be my favourite instalment because you could really feel how much you were all enjoying learning, sharing the stories, and investigating together as a group
I've finally got around to watching this, and I'm so blown away. The Grim Tour videos are probably my favourites alongside your travel vlogs; they're perfect to sit down and relax to, and you perfectly strike the balance between being informative yet funny. I love learning more about scary/'grim' UK history, especially as Bournemouth and Poole aren't a million miles from where I live, nor are they dissimilar in history🏴☠⚓ This was the best Grim Tour yet! I loved the variety in the stories and the timeframes. Of course, I always enjoy Char and Glenda coming along too!
My Spooky month is made!! I look forward to the Grim Tours every year! I’m an American and it’s so cool to learn more about true crime from across the pond. The voice overs, production, and imagery is brilliant. You guys all did amazing!
I never knew all this spooky stuff about Poole! I grew up there as a kid and also went to Scaplen's Court, I remember making crepes with a very lovely lady. Thanks for the nostalgia boost as I now live in New Zealand and haven't been back to visit in years.
These tours are the gold flakes on top of the cherry, topping the icing on the cake that is all the great content over the year! Thank you so very much…love all. Cheers❤️❤️🇨🇦🇬🇧❤️❤️🎃👻
This is going to sound daft, but I went to Poole every year in the summer when I was a kid, and these tours make me feel back in my happy place. Even though they’re about horrible gristly things. Just love your storytelling.
Such a cool video! I adore all of your humor and love to laugh along but wow, this shows off your editing skills and wonderful eye for visual appeal. Well done!
you guys knocked it out of the park with this one, really enjoyable, engaging and the editing was fantastic. Been a lovely way to spend some of this chill autumn evening. Loking forward to grim tewr fewr.
Great video! That tree in Poole park where Nova read from the book and where you animated the twins is a common yew (taxus bacatta) and is more than 150 years old from the looks of it. They grow very slowly so it was already a big tree 100 years ago. They often are planted in cemetries and church yards and monasteries. With love from a crazy botanist from Latvia
Your Grim Tours are always fascinating and I absolutely loved every second of this one also. The cinematography and editing was impeccable and the artwork and animation was so intensely atmospheric. You are all insanely talented! 💗
The production value has ramped up a notch! LOVE this series girls, hope to see more in the future. Crime shows are my absolute fave, and combining your channel and the genre is a treat!!!
Every grim tour is just brilliant, well done lovely ladies. I'm hoping you don't run out of stories as I'm patiently waiting for grim tour 10 in in 2040 x (p.s. you're all natural presenters and obviously the producing is incredible, thanks for another year!
The cinematography, the denotations and low angle camera shots to connote a mood of melancholy
It’s just sublime
It would not be Halloween without a Grim Tour.🥰👍
I love these so much!!!! Even if the reception is mediocre please keep doing them!!! I also love to hear Olympia’s real accent, it’s always such trip
Agreed. I love these, and I hope they keep doing them, regardless. Please don’t worry that these may not seem as popular, girls- there are a bunch of us who love them!
☺️❤️
I get confused, what is her real accent? lol
was it that mediocre though? the viewers are the same if not slightly more than similar videos published at the same time. If anything, I think that they're rather long so they are not clicked by the occasional viewer

Thank you so much! 🥰💕
We filmed this just a tiny bit out of order so I didn’t really realise the “arrrr” was gonna go right there 😅
It's a nice touch that everyone contributes to the narration. Well done all.
got my countdown for grim tooer fooer 😂
Hi guys. Thank you so much for doing this! I know that this tour is supposed to be grim with ghosts and tales of true crimes, but I must say, the visuals of this tour are stunning! The buildings are beautiful and have so much character. And the water is gorgeous!

Yes, always love Nova’s smokey eyes.
The tales of the pirates, ghosts, and learning Lush started there were all very interesting! I'm baffled these don't get more views. I love them so much. They're my relaxing fall-asleep bedtime watch. Please keep them going gals xx
I also think -to me- comes from a place of interest rather than “looking at all this horrible stuff”
I literally can't wait for this year's grim tour😭‼️
Who knew Char could be such a good narrator!!
I'm a total Death Hag and these vids are my absolute favorite! You all do such a great job and I love watching the four of you together on your adventures! Top notch content as always! 💕
So glad you've decided to keep this series going. I'm just as excited as I've been the last two years, amazing job. The editing just keeps getting tighter and better, and the visual effects give me a proper TV docu-series! x
This was infinitely interesting, very informative and thoughouly entertaining. Thank you for another grim tour!
These have become one of the highlights of October for me! Thank you for putting so much time and effort into them. Also danggg Poole is pretty!
The barmy clubcard plot aside, wanting to destroy Tesco is a perfectly natural human instinct.
Please tell me there will be a part four??? I love this series so much, I'd be heart broken if there isn't more! Completely off topic but Novas sunglasses are so cute ❤
I need to know where these are from. They look like snokelling goggles from the front.
Olympia's English accent is so good. 🖤 Love these tours and getting to see these places.
😂😂 He's practiced it .
I need even more of these. They're absolutely amazing. Me and my boyfriend are obsessed.
Oh wow the budget has went up on this grim tour. Really cool to see how they’ve evolved! This feels like the BBC would pick this up. Good work ladies!
These have just gotten better as the years have gone on, I still think Novympia is the best Patreon sub I've ever made if only for the amazing Halloween content. Thank you girls!
This feels like event level television. Love it.
Love! Glenda and Char have such fantastic voice over/ narrating voices ❤️
This was bloody brilliant. Enjoyed every moment. The editing and production was top banana. Can't wait for The Grim Tour Fooer!
👻☠️💀
I can't believe it!! Thank you girls! Now I can stop watching the other 2 on repeat! 😂
I might be two weeks late for this but I cannot tell y'all how excited I am to see you did a third part to the Grim Tour of Bournemouth. I do not understand how there was a mediocre response to the second part because I have waited all year to see if you were doing a third part. Thanks for this.

Literally watched the first two this morning in preparation for part 3 🥳
I'm a bit ticked off because TH-cam failed with the notification for this video that I've been waiting all year for. Serves me right for not checking in. Brilliantly spooky video, my dears! I love Char's narration!

Halloween with Novympia is Christmas!❤❤❤
I love your grim tours! Thank you!! The production value...*chef's kiss*.
Kind of insane that a terrorist only when to jail for like six years.
Love the grim tour!!! So glad you did another. Char had a precious moment at 27:45, made me smile
And what a sweet woman managing the Crown Hotel
❤❤❤
I love this series so much. This might be my favourite instalment because you could really feel how much you were all enjoying learning, sharing the stories, and investigating together as a group

Girls, thank you.
I always rewatch these. Sooo hoping for part four this year!
Love this spooky collection. Would not be mad if a series of other videos of the same nature happened to appear. Spooky dreams do come true.
This is going to sound daft, but I went to Poole every year in the summer when I was a kid, and these tours make me feel back in my happy place. Even though they’re about horrible gristly things. Just love your storytelling.
Edmund Butts score from Afterlife is so beautiful. Love that series❤
