Great real-world hunting and optic advise. A full-size spotter is definitely worth its weight. The best part of coues hunting is the glassing and the snacks, and the smack talking with your buddies lol
Excellent rundown of your system and why. That system can work well for any species. I really like that rangefinder trick you mentioned while stalking. I will have to use that sometime. I would love to hunt Coues deer 🦌 and hopefully complete the North American Deer 🦌 Grand Slam. But not just to check a box, because I am sure that I will get addicted lol 😆
You couldn't have explained it any better. Couse deer melt into the environment. I can be looking at a bunch and think I see something else within the same sight picture. Magically the buck I was looking at disappears even though he's still there it takes me awhile to pick him out of the background again. It's crazy
