  • This is the second episode which covers the last half of essential sections for building the 1/350 Yamato 78030. Again, the approach is not limited to TAMIYA 78030 but 78025 or 78014 as well. Nevertheless, it is also a general plan which may inspire for various type of model warship. Plenty of brass RC kits would be released for TRUMPETER 1/350 & 1/200 series as well.

      Well, identify the clockwise and counterclockwise propellers, then testing the motors in the same direction of rotation and mark down the negative and positive pole. Welding the same pole in a single wire then connect to ESC. A ESC of 180A is pretty enough for 180 motor X4.

    • @Hugo-ot7xu
      @Hugo-ot7xu  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, for No. 78030 I seal the front deck while the rear deck is just dry assembly via its original mechanism. Because for 1/350 scale is not that huge, the kit would not deform so much. But in 1/250 Yamato, I am doing almost the same but utilize magnetic to firmly stick the rear deck and the hull.

    • @IRFSI
      @IRFSI 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Hugo-ot7xu oh thanks a lot. But if I seal the front how could I be able to open it, when I need to change batteries etc.

    • @Hugo-ot7xu
      @Hugo-ot7xu  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@IRFSI It depends, from my habits for the maintenance may not requires opening all decks. Say for an extreme example like 1/350 ROMA, it only available for cut off the shape of down bridge for maintenance. So, for battery recharging just a balanced wire could be drag outside is enough. But for such ship the water proof process should be done in a high level. Return to Yamato, the size of opening the rear deck is quite adequate for pulling the battery pack out or ordinary checking or even replace the ESC or motor. All in all, well managing the position of setting each unit before making a final decision is exactly essential.

    • @IRFSI
      @IRFSI 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Hugo-ot7xu well if it is possible to recharge it from wire alone, it would be huge help. Then don't need to open all of the deck. Thanks for your huge help ^^

    • @Hugo-ot7xu
      @Hugo-ot7xu  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@IRFSI You are welcome. Exactly, if a ship's waterproof on shafting done reach to a submarine level, it would be an ideal approach for ship to maintain a complete wooden deck. No extra cutting works is required.
