One can see why Carting is a good stepping stone to other types of racing, all the way up to F1! Reactions have to be lightning quick and moves have to be made decisively! These guys are really talented and it's so fun to watch!
I dont mean to be so off topic but does anyone know a way to log back into an Instagram account?? I was dumb lost my account password. I would love any tips you can offer me.
Been there, done that!! 117 deg day, Willow Springs, Santa Ana conditions, 15% humidity. Everyone was running hot, Last lap, running 2nd, 1 hour enduro, head temp at 420+ deg. no manner of tweaking the carb needles would reduce temps. Seized, locked up solid. Stuff happens!!! But still scored 12th rather than a DNF...
Awesome drive after a hard to call first corner clash, That's a real arm muscle course too. I bet the first corner guy never came looking for you after the race either. Brillant drive anyway.
I have a random question. When I was a kid we used to bend the shift lever so you didn't have to take your hand off the wheel to shift. You'd have your thumb on the wheel for up and you hit the lever with your knuckle on the downshift. Is there some technical reason people aren't doing that these days? Excellent recovery. That track is relentless...
People feel more comfortable nowadays shifting when the lever is further back, also if the shifting lever is too close it gets tough turning to the left. Atleast it's so for me.
Just incredible!!!! Everything looks like its happening at the pace of a squirrel's brain. Just inhumanly fast movements. Its truly mind blowing too see. Looks really stressful as well. Lol.
Find your local track and figure out how much a kart and engine is, see about used ones and how much for equipment. The most expensive part is starting
You were driving like a maniac but lots of respect for you skill maybe stay out a h wider on some of those corners but you handle all that oversteer very well
I couldn't tell you why some of these guys are talking smack. you put a lot of work in, most of these guys probably would have given up. The kart and tire manufacturer is like, dang.... our products held up, the engine builder is thinking... yup, good job and I know you were tired, because I have driven in races like this, and it is a workout for sure.
I'll give credit where its due, you're definitely a fast driver.... when you're by yourself. In traffic you're extremely wreckless, most of your overtakes were people trying not to be wrecked out because of you
It’s the only way to make pass on a twisty track. Just throw yourself in on the inside and offer the other driver the choice of a crash or giving up the place.
@Tailspin80 Senna: "If you don't go for a gap, you are not racing anymore!" Enough, and very well, said. RIP Champion. We still miss you. Always will!
I race on the big pittsburgh auto track in the Championship Enduro series racing 110 to 120 mph speeds depending on the track and conditions different classes
WOW! Great job! Most folks have no idea what kind of skill it takes to drive up to 2nd from where he was at........AWESOME!

driving is peak right here great balance of grip and speed and some gutsy moves to pull it off
Great driving man
WOW is right, I know this was awhile ago but way to get after it and get back to the front. Great Job.
Fun track, I was always taught that too much curb slowed you down.
Nice drive, a little too aggressive on some of those late braking passes thought

heck of a drive! Pitt is a very fun track.

karting is all about that, pushing your mind so forward and enhance your feelings and limits!
When you use up all the track and all the cart, you know it was the best run possible.

Number 18, what are you doing? Even here at 2:08 he torpedoed the other kart, the red helmet guy...
send it!
WooooW !!!
Wow I guess exceeding track limits isn't a thing in karting back then?
You always drive faster when someone pisses you off in turn one.
I drive a DR Kart in this class made by crg little more aggressive front end
16:50 kinda sus, or was he a backmarker?
great driving!! your kart slides a lot though y need some grip
overchill that kart has a ton of grip he’s just driving super hot into corners
Great driving....but you dive bombed a few corners. Passing into 2nd, pushed him right into lapped traffic. Excuse me, coming thru....

Why so much oversteer?
Damn
On
I hope No.18 was penalised for the chop on the first corner. Dreadful driving on his part.
Way to much sliding and jumping all over the track he could be faster without
