    Now this is what I call a "killer" night out in the woods, just doesn't get much better. A good buddy, good food, good conversation and good drinks to melt the night away, fall into a cozy fabric hut nestled amongst the trees and sleep so comfortable you don't want to get up...sublime. A great time and Warren was the perfect compliment I'd say. Thanks for the trip as you guys made me feel welcome. Great video and an easy watch👍👍 Enjoy!

      Thanks Terry, you described it perfectly. I’m glad you got the good vibes from it.
      Hope all is well in your world.

    Perfection personified guys. You made this excursion feel so pleasant and in a way homely. Two happy campers .. in more ways than one maybe .. enjoying a carefree night in the forrest with all the trimmings.curry looked very appetising Dan except I would have added coconut milk for a different dimension. Great to see Warren with his cow eggs he never disappoints does he. Thanks guys for a nice bit of lighthearted entertainment. Bushyboy Oz.

      Thanks mate, I’m really loving this forest, it comes alive in the summer with vegetation. It was a proper fun camp this, didn’t see another human the whole trip!

    As soon as l saw Goan curry, l jumped on this one! Back in the eighties in my twenties l would travel Goa on a Royal Enfield Bullet. I was obsessed with fish curries and pork bindaloo and would sample them all over Goa lol
    Your curry looks amazing and l can imagine how good it would taste in the great outdoors and evening atmosphere. Fab vid fellas!!

      I quite like a fish curry myself.
      The kit I used was really impressive, I’d definitely pick up another one. It was one of the best curries I’ve had in a while.

      Cheers Si, yeah I love this forest. So green and luscious in the summer. And as it’s off the beaten track it’s not visited very frequently by ‘other’ humans. Just the way I live it 😁

    Oh so good Dan, thank you for another most enjoyable camp out in the woods. As always your vid is top score. i wonder if I was right about the hatching time for the cow eggs. Maybe pop back soon to see how the cows are since that session out. Thanks mate, cheers :) Warren

    I’m liking the relaxing background music, very chilled. Nice woodland spot for a camp 🏕 good stuff 😀 Ohhh I do love a curry🍴sometimes it’s nice to have something different from a boil in the bag meal.
    I’m out for a camp next week, I can’t wait. Hoping the weather stays good. 😎

    🏕🔥👍, good to get out & make the best of good weather. Not a fan of pre-packed ready to eat rice, but cooking rice is quite heavy on water use, so it makes perfect sense for camping out.
    It’s an unusually cold winter in Australia, I fell foul of setting down my thin-walled (compact metal camp stove cook set) cup of coffee on a metal table at a picnic spot and the coffee was rendered cold in less than 2 minutes! What a newb! I haven’t had cold weather in 2 decades…..😞👍

    • @CampLifeBushcraft

      you have the cold, its been warm here the last couple of days.. pushing 40 degrees. it's been sweaty in the kitchen at work!
      yeah those rice are an easy thing. and the premium brand ones are quite nice flavour wise.
      keep warm mate : )

      to be fair warren is as bad if not worse than me at walking shots.. unbelievable as that may seem : )
      curry was actually amazing.. I didn't really say on film, but it was up there with a takeaway for flavour. bl00dy loved it. I'll be picking up more of them kits.

    Great chilled vid as always. Next time though spices first for a few minutes to
    Release the oils and fragrence, then chopped onion and meat until softened/Browned lightly then go with base sauce then main sauce. frying the spices first makes the difference but to be fair it looked fit anyway :)

    Hi again, another enjoyable video to watch ⌚ 😊!was that a two person tent or one,maybe that new wide mat takes up more room...take care as always!!

    • @CampLifeBushcraft
      @CampLifeBushcraft  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Kenneth.. it's regarded as a one person tent and a 2 person in an emergency tent, according to the website .. but yeah the mat is a wide one.. not getting two of them in there any time soon!

      @BourneOutside 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@CampLifeBushcraft Totally messed with me for sure 🤣
      One curry I’d like to try is goat. Possibly a Goan variety too 😁
      Used to drive through Peckham on the way home from work in the 80’s/90’s and there was a shop selling goat curry.
      Too scared to go on though as them Rasta Men looked like they were huge and scary 😁

      @CampLifeBushcraft  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@BourneOutside I’ve made goat curry at work a couple of times. Goat is pretty tough.. need a long time to cook.

    G'day Dan, Wozza, we've been getting reports of a heat wave over there, didn't seem to worry you blokes getting out amongst it.
    Forgive my ignorance; what on earth is a "cow's egg" ? a newborn with membrane ? or akin to what we call "barker's eggs" for a pile of dog poo ?
    Nice look'n curry, I thought "Goan" was a seafood thing, but hey who cares if it tastes good.
    I did recognise the Yellowtail wine label, just out of curiosity and if you can remember, what was the other white label job ?
    Anyway, fantastic night out guys. Cheers Duke.

    • @CampLifeBushcraft
      @CampLifeBushcraft  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      it wasn't too bad heat wise on this one around the 30 degree make I think. last couple of days its been just below 40 which has been a bit warm. but its settled back to normal today. all good.
      cows eggs are Warrens thing.. they actually are bails of silage which is grass that gets wrapped in the plastic to feed cattle through the winter. it rots down to a mulch but they love it. Farmers tend to make some hay for the immediate future and silage for later on down the road.
      Goan is just something from Goa, I'm not 100% on what they eat day to day but it is part of or connected with India I think so spice is part of the culture. which to my understanding was originally to preserve food before the fridge was a thing.
      I can't remember the other wine I'm afraid, warren may know. but I like a bit of yellow tail!
