strange so simple to remove but there are screw holes on the inside of your new covers, and screw holes indicate the need to remove screws, which means you must remove the glass, no? Audi S5 B9 2017
I believe they are the same brand - I bought mine off a friend but I just looked them up and they seem to be the exact same from that site and a few others - the other difference is price it seems. It may just not be snapped in all the way? Mine sit completely flush
Yes 100% possible. I didn’t remove the glass. You don’t have to take the mirror glass out, you can do it by just using trim removal tools on the back side of the mirror cover like I did in the video.
@@EvergreenGarage Thanks for your reply. Is it impossible to remove it by attaching several layers of box tape to the cover and pulling it with momentary force?
Thx mate!
Any time

@@EvergreenGarage my left mirror wasn’t cooperating with me but the right mirror sits flush. I’ll figure something out thank you tho
Is this possible without unscrewing the three screws inside the mirror? Other people were removing the mirror and replacing the cover.

@@우디-c4g I am not sure the tape is strong enough since there are really tough clips in the back that you need to wedge or pry out
