Car freshener can last from 7 days to 21 days. This could be due to some variables such as the materials used, fragrance type, fragrance strength, mixture of carrier oils and how it is applied on the cardstocks. I have heard customers tell me some of my fresheners have lasted for 30 days. Testing your freshener before selling will help you determine on an average how long your freshener lasts.
Ratio is highly dependent on your felt material and testing. I have used 1:1 and have also used 1 part dpg and 2 part FO. Play around with your ratios and test, test test.

Oh, I saw in another clip. He mixes one to one (like 1/2 tsp ea) and uses a sponge brush to paint both sides twice and let's dry naturally.

Try the Reed diffuser base. However many diffuser makers use DPG.
