@@monoi4Congratulations are inorder. Or are they? A Dutch woman, on a standard Honda 300 did this same journey a few weeks ago. Alone! Sorry Harry, but you lot seem a bit out of your league.
That's so true, he has a fine collection of classic bikes, that probably mean nothing to a lot of people. It's so cool to see them out there being used.
There simply aren't as many bikers as car drivers, but I bet this audience is far more devoted to the content and will have higher retention over the series.
38,000 views 20 hours in, it’s not doing too bad, the car guys maybe latching on to the bike videos, well done Harry, as usual, plus great content from Charlie, great team effort.
IMO it doesn't suck at all. Even tho I'm not a biker (ie a sad shadow of a person in your view I suppose from your wording "...the few of us who care...") I still enjoy this video to the fullest. My enjoyment isn't spoiled of the number of views it gets, low or not. I guess we're very different in that respect.
Love these! They may not have been the most popular vids as you said in your round up last year, but those of us who love it really love since there's not much else like it on TH-cam. There's more than a few of us who'd love to do Sandraiders one day!
Thank you, Harry and Charlie, for sharing your Sandraiders trip with us again this year! Nice helmet cam views, nice people, good stories, cool bikes, and a beer truck. Excellent! 👍👍👍
Top notch stuff!!! Don’t stop or be disheartened by the lesser views the bike vids bring in. I find these by far, more interesting/entertaining than the somewhat irrelevant supercar videos. Thanks for the great content.
+1. .. Harry, you are my all-time Hero.. You are living large ... whether attending to the Farm or the Garage. .. Travel safe, ride safe. .. Cheers from Vail, Colorado
I’ve never riden a motorbike but I found this as fascinating as the videos that Harry does on cars, it’s all about the story teller, best channel out there along with Harry’s Farm and Mr T’s Classic Workshop
...this annual trip creates amazing photographic opportunities for you Harry - Awesome. Love the final quote...."Oh gawd, Oscars mucking about...that was bound to happen". 😄 Clearly you could see the potential for disaster here!!
Harry fretting over all sorts, heat, dust, lunch and the dark then sees Charlie stop with camera out. "This must be good" .No its Oscar playing about. This is a young mans event and long may they enjoy: it.
This is amazing! I wish I could re-live my childhood, 7 year old fantasy of watching taped Dakar episodes from around 96,97 and do this event. We had an africa twin, I owned a kdx, but had a model KDX (the original) and it was my dream to just get a sense of the adventure. (I didn't know the extent of how hectic it was) but it was fun to daydream. Fun fact, IIRC the XT500 had a kickstarter that could easily launch you over the bars or break your leg if you didn't know what you were doing. Beautiful bikes all in all.
Stunning scenery! And even as someone who's only affection for bikes is the type you pedal, I really can see the attraction of doing those stages. Looks a lot of fun!
Harry's Garage is the complete package from single cylinder 2-wheelers to the mightiest V12 supercars. There are many who don't appreciate this content but I definitely do. Fantasic to see all of what interests Harry and the fun to be had with the contents of the garage.
Last July I rode a 2012 DR650 through the outback from one side of Australia to the other. 8,500 kilometres from Byron Bay to Steep Point and on to Perth. There were 14 of us. I made a film and used my own music as the soundtrack. There were shitloads of bike issues, but we had Tex O Grady, a legend of a biker as a mechanic.
Harry- I know you said " hell of a commute if you live up here" but I can only imagine the sky at night; must be a sight to behold. It's the little, dare I say simple things that delight.
"I can go off kick starts real quick" well I can identify with that sentiment, I remember my old XT500 was a cow to start even with the decompression lever, I kneed my self in the chin on more than one occasion trying to kick it off...great video can't wait for episode two.
Can't fault the decision to fit the electric start on the TT. I had a XR650R a few years back (prior to it getting stolen😡) and it could be a b*tch to start after it had fallen over. Lugging comparatively heavy dirt bikes like these around in 30deg+ heat must be exhausting but what an adventure!👍
had plenty of kickers over the years but a few years back i had a husky 610 and i swore that would be the last kick start i'd ever own. bastard thing wore a hole through the sole of my boot.
I can’t help but think some of those 60 new first-timers might be due to Harry’s promotional skills last year 😅
Definitely, this is on my bucket list now.
Yup!
It’s now on my wish list thanks to Harry.
You're not far wrong...I was one of them :)
I'm gonna go now next Yr 😊

Sucks that I know this won’t get as many views as the car videos. I love it that Harry still does motorcycle videos for the few of us who care.

@@bennylloyd-willner9667 Great points. Views have nothing whatsoever to do with anything.

YES!
Guess that means we are due another EV review next week 😢
You need a double Like button for motorcycle related videos, great great stuff, keep them coming! 😊
My respect for this performance! I'm nearly 60 and now I know there is hope for the coming years ... Cheers from Germany!
Harry, never stop making bike videos, please. I know they don't get the views, but I absolutely love 'em.
Charlie’s Inst stories of his bike have been so good. Such a great looking bike. Makes me wanna go ride mine.
What an experience Harry. Father and son having a blast in the dessert. The POV is spectacular. Looking forward to subsequent uploads.
Thank you, Harry and Charlie, for sharing your Sandraiders trip with us again this year! Nice helmet cam views, nice people, good stories, cool bikes, and a beer truck. Excellent! 👍👍👍
Not a big bike guy, but I love these videos. Seems like a great event and fantastic adventure!

Please keep posting and sharing your experiences with us, some of us "live the experience" by watching you posts
Thanks so much Harry.. you always have the ability to make me enjoy what I’m not interested in.. well done 👌💪🏍️
Oh I'm loving watching this!
I'm so pleased you took your cameras and recorded this event, I've really been looking forward to it ..
Loved it last year, couldnt wait for this years film! Keep it up Harry.
I'm not in the slightest interested in bikes but that was a very watchable video. Looking forward to part 2.
Absolutely mega! I can barely ride a tricycle and you make me want to do this!

Brilliant video and fantastic scenery harry ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏👏
My take away from this video is how amazing it must have been as a father & son experience. Lovely stuff.
loved these moto videos!, the experience looks amazing.

Three of us did a similar route 20 years ago, on our own on XR600Rs. Zero bike problems. Seeing this brings back wonderful memories.
I know these vids don't get the most views, but they might actually be my favourites. Just superb content.
What a treat to be taken along on your trip Harry, thanks. Looking forwards to Part 2.
Nice One Harry, total respect. 😊😊😊😊👍🏻
Love this!!

Didn't watch immediately as I'm into cars rather than bikes but this was amazing. I would love to do this. Looks like a proper adventure.
Admirable ride Harry. Nearly as good as Itchy Boots ;@). Thanks for making and sharing.

Where can I get the tan leather tail bag? Great trip! I love all the bikes.
I was hoping for the Testarossa chace car with the backup outboard in the boot! Thanks for publishing your adventures for us non-Moroccans!
