The average man's waist size is 39.5 inches. The problem is that the majority retailers have a super crappy pant size selection from 36 inches above! Which means 50% of dudes wear terrible fitting and ugly clothes ... until now! In this video men's style, grooming, fitness and lifestyle expert, Aaron Marino of IAmAlphaM, AaronMarino, and Pete & Pedro is at DXL - the largest retailer of men's apparel waist size 38 inches and above.
Matt's Honeymoon Style Goals
Aaron is meeting up with Matt who wants to look amazing on his honeymoon. He is 6 ft 4 in. and has a hard time finding clothing at the mall. Aaron's recommendation is shopping at DXL! Aaron says that DXL is a one-stop shop with super stylish clothes that you won't find in regular retail establishments.

DXL has a great jeans selection (Lucky Brand, Levi's, Buffalo) - Aaron recommends a pair of solid, dark wash denim which end up being a perfect fit. At 6' 3" and 210 lbs with wider shoulders and a 36 x 34 pants, I find myself in between the range of what mall stores offer and what big and tall stores offer. Seems 36" waist is eithe rpopular and more difficult to find or else its accompanied by a 30" or shorter leg for the stocky dudes. And shirts--I've been buying XL shirts for years because of the shoulders, but the problem is, the shirts are never long enough. So either I buy 2X and swim in a shirt where the shoulders hang off and look sloppy, or I have XL were the shoulders fit but the shirt is too short. I'll definitely check out DXL. Thanks for the tip!

As a tall man myself I've been a huge fan of DXL - Destination XL for many years. They are the secret weapon for us big & tall guys that get left out of the mass market. Their in store service is second to none as well. These guys know fashion, and especially they know to fit and flatter bigger gentlemen. - There are some other online outfits, but DXL is truly second to none. And you Aaron are second to none as well! Peace brother!

Double monks are my favorite. I don't have a good ammount of great clothes but when i get dressed up, it's usually a two piece suit, double monks, black on black, express shirts that are semi slim fit, and maybe if i'm really trying to take it up, i'll drop a nice black on black tie in an eldredge knot. When im doing dress casual: its usually some lucky brand italian denim(for that stretch and comfort factor) and maybe a polo or a vneck shirt under a blazer. Still hard finding the right sizes though. Im a 6'3 guy and can range from a 36 waist all the way to a 40 if im not being strict in my diet and exercise.
