So fun! My 3x great grandfather was one of the first jacquard weavers in Ireland. He brought it to the US when he immigrated, but was just a 'farmer' here. He made each of hid children a blanket when they got married. One is in a museum where he settled in Ohio. I have to go see it sometime. And find someone with a jacquard loom to recreate the blankets
@@Curly_n_Yarny it's very far in the future. I don't know anyone that owns one and I've only made things in rigid heddle so far. But maybe by the time my kid gets married?? Haha.
