This week was all about community, and the RV community is the best. Do you prefer solo camping or camping in groups? Or like us, mix of both!
A mix of both, but 90% of the time, we just want to be alone. We like to boondock most of the time. We're in Oregon and there's a lot of BLM land and Natl Forest out here! Have a great time and God bless! ❤

One of my favorite campouts that I look forward to every year. Those roads looked pretty fun to travel down ha ha. I have to take orv trails to my property about an hour or so south of mackinaw city. The camper twists and turns and rocks back and forth but it’s survived so far 😂😂😂.

The river is a great time. Sometimes the weather cooperates and sometimes not. We’ve been half way through a float and get caught in a down pour. Still makes memories though. lol!

I JUST saw an RV with the same clothes drying rack on the ladder. We don't have a ladder on our Airstream, but I feel like we could mount it somewhere else. It looked like such a neat option to dry clothes.

It looks like a great campground. Will definitely give it a try. we loved Mohican State park, but you are a bit crowded there. This campground looks very nice. We normally campground just as a couple. Still part time just 2 time month and Sunday to Wednesday normally to get golden buckie discount at state park. Really a good idea to find community. We have 2 table top tiki torches that burn citronella and cedar oil, and for 10 yrs. Service with my company, I got a table top Solo Mesa wood burning stove. It is about the size of a paint can on legs. I take a hatchet and cut lots of 8” thin pieces of wood to fuel it. We have a thermoelectric too. All of it keeps the flies and mosquitoes at bay. I don’t like to spray Off on me. That absorbs into the skin and makes your liver work harder. Being diabetic that is not good.
We’ve never tried the cedar oil. We’ll have to give it a try. Agree I silt line the Off but sometimes it’s a necessary evil.
@@campinwiththeconfers it is a citronella and cedar oil combined oil we burn in the tiki torches. I think the citronella gets rid of mosquitoes and the cedar oil gets rid of the biting flies.
Ok, I have to bite, why can’t you eat Cinnamon Rolls and Lasagna? I am thinking your gluten intolerant. I don’t know much about. Does it cause pain or heartburn? Or something else, I am fairly new to the channel so bare with me. Great video!
That is correct. Gluten and I have a love hate relationship. I love the food but it tears me up inside and out. If I cheat on my diet I’ll break out with hives and my stomach will be a mess for days
Were you using the RV Life GPS when you came to the closed road? We're currently comparing RV Life and Garmin and hoping to get rid of the bulky Garmin.
No! We were using Google Maps. And we have RV Life Trip Wizard. We should have known better. We’ve been to this campground before so we thought it would be fine- the route it normally takes us was closed for construction but we didn’t realize that (until we tried to go that way on the way home). When we are going on a new route I usually run both GPS and if they conflict I will look it up on Google earth.
