Looks like yoko wakare to me, more than hiki-komi-gaeshi. (even though I still respect your name for the technique as its not a classic or easily defined throw.) Great dynamics.
well, this throw is a bit similar with the ude gaeshi right? I mean beside from the back grip, if it is replaced by an inside lapel grip it will become ude gaeshi, the rolling of tori to make uke roll over is the same. A very good and informative vid you got there sir :D . By the way, if it is possible can you please make a video about how to execute ude gaeshi in competition?
I agree with most of the comments. This technique is not Hikkomi gaeshi. However this kind of technique has been created in three variations in the art of traditional Japanese jujitsu. What Mr Blah blah blah is showing is called yoko wakare. There are also variations of this technique. Please learn the names of techniques. Stop insulting judo.

Nice move,
Isn't hikkikomi gaeshi more akin to Sumi gaeshi than ude gaeshi?

Yoko Guruma
YOKO SUTEMI WAZA
😍😍😍
What separates this technique from Yoko Guruma?
Yoko Guruma one leg goes through the middle, where as this is both legs to the side (is the only difference I can see)
🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝
1000 sorrys, but ist not Hikikomi gaeshi. Was only Yoko Wakare.
