Now that I think about it, youn ain't impressing anyone in the West either, people know that rich people don't wear visibly branded clothes, they go for quiet, understated luxury, loud brands are considered in poor taste, stuff worn by people who have no taste or no confidence in their taste and by lower middle class people who used to be poor and now wear branded clothes to say to the world, look at me, I'm no longer poor, I'm lower middle class now. Besides, designer clothes are just slightly above Zara or H&M in quality, the good stuff never has visible branding.
