Whether it's an RX7, RX8, or older RX models, can't get enough of hearing that rotary sound. Surprised there's a lot of RX8's shown in this video. =)

Even though RX-7 and RX-8 2 rotor engines sound very similar, they do have different tones to them. The 13B in the RX-7 has more of a mellow, raspy growl, while the 13B Renesis in the RX-8 has more of a deep, open, throaty tone, plus the Renesis revs higher. But one thing that both the RX-7 and RX-8 share is that legendary rotary scream and I love them both. Long live the Wankel Warriors!
I thought they have same engine well they do but different i usually thought the rx7's are low pitch while the rx8 sounds like high pitch almost sounds like a honda s2000 i think ngl

@@annieparnis6946 the rx8 has the 13b renesis which did away with the peripheral port exhaust to meet emissions restrictions. So it has side port intake and exhaust, as opposed to the earlier rotaries that had side port intake (smaller holes in front, intermediate, and rear plates) and pp exhaust (the exhaust is a big hole in the rotor housing)
Just don't swap a v8 in them

Yeah man im gonna get chevy van as a daily cuz they very cheap here in finland and cheap taxes but diesel cost the same as 95 here in finland 😂 and some biodiesel neste mydiesel shit is 1,7€ litre like wtf and then get fc or fd as a project car prob fc cuz they cheaper and more money to spend on mods
And also no emission tests on rotary engines here in finland so you save on inspections and way easier to tune cuz no need to worry passing emissions
Looking at fd prices is crazy at the dude from pacific coast auto said that you can get decent fc for 5k

Idk why i just not a big fan of the sound of the rx8, like for real it has the weirdest sound of any rotary ever, even though the rx7 in my mind has one of the best rotary sounds ever

@@j0lel666 It's actually a crazy good rotor when you remember that it's NA and still outputs more than 200 bhp
@@ValentineC137 but it doesnt have pp exhaust, exhaust goes through the plates same way gas goes in so you cant turbo it
@@KalLanPIDT You can turbo Renesis' engines. I've seen one Turbocharged that just with 0.6bar/8 psi made 120hp on top of the 210whp it put out on the Dyno. They're amazing engines, but reliability on the Renesis went out the window compared to every Rotary previously made.
I thought the rx8 had the same 13b as the rx7, just NA and the ports were different.
