Yes, they certainly get to make their own rules. I was only expressing my opinion about the rules, and if you watch the video I did leave and came back one they were actually selling.
Share this everywhere and with everyone you meet at other sales...also tell the people that you don't like... how good it was 😂😈 Fun fact: I watched 2 different people pocket merchandise they didn't pay for..on a different video.
It's very odd that the first place wouldn't sell. I would have been very glad to start selling, even if I wasn't ready. Oh well! These yard sales had some great things, like those small beaded coin purses. Loved all that you got! By the way, love the blue nail polish you're wearing!
Yes, it was just weird that they let us on the premises and let us choose items, but then would not let us pay? I was happy with how the day went overall, but it was a strange start, for sure! Thank you so much for watching and commenting!
I see the point in comments about the Yard Sale... It's like this is your channel and as such you are free to express your opinion, on your channel. And the seller only had to put "No Early Birds" in the listing and no one would have showed up early.
Precisely I think the weirdest part was they did let us shop early. There were shoppers all over the place picking out items at 7:30 when they opened at eight. But they wouldn’t let us pay for any items until eight which seemed odd to me. That’s all.
I did not say anything disrespectful to them, and I did respect their wishes, I only expressed to my Picker friends and in the video that I thought it was a confusing way of running things and I think I’m entitled to my opinion. I didn’t say anything to the sellers that was rude or disrespectful.
Liz… just got the pendant in the mail. I love it. Thank You. I can wear it with my vintage Native pieces. I’m searching your basket. It looks like it could be Yurok. That’s a northern California. Tribe should you not know. I, apparently was mistaken about the green paint. Tribes often would use paint. My expert is having shoulder surgery so he wasn’t at his store. I’m going to send him a photo of your basket and one of a bracelet of mine that just lost a stone. I got a few books from the library on Native baskets. If yours is indeed Native it could have been made to store tobacco or trinkets. I have about ten baskets… they are Pima, Navajo, Calif. mission, and Apache ( my favorite). BYW … I’m so surprised at the reaction about that one yard sale.
I usually sell vintage Coach online, so it might be better to check my Etsy shop, although I can’t list them for about the next week or so unfortunately. Send me a private message and will try to figure something out.
Please I m a little concerned about the reputation of resellers, please be considerate, respectful, kind, I never show up early, say please and thank you. Take care and thank you
I confess, I was a little bit early, as were many of us. However, I was respectful and kind to the sellers. I may have talked later about the fact that I was disappointed, but I didn’t say anything rude to them.
Hi Liz… The person that told you to ‘get over it’ can go jump in the lake. Actually they prolly need a hug. I love the $4 basket. I want to buy it if it’s Native American. I live in Utah and I’m familiar with Navajo and puma (yours is not puma) baskets. The lid and the green on the inside has me puzzled. So much of it looks Navajo. Great video;)
Aw thank you! Many of the local pickers were disappointed, and it wasn’t just me. And we are used to people saying that they’re not ready and that we can’t shop, but we just are not used to people saying go ahead and shop but you can’t actually buy anything for the next hour. I appreciate your understanding of the matter, as well as all of your positive comments. I have a good feeling about that basket, but I do think it’s missing its finial (if that’s a thing on baskets) and I actually put it in my booth already just because I was overstocked with inventory. Let me know where I can research it if you get a chance, please?
I will take your video to my expert in St George tomorrow or the next day and let you know if I find out anything. What price to you have on it in your booth? Maybe I will just buy it!
Why are you whining? Someone’s house, their rules. They set a time. Respect it. I’m 4:31 minutes into this video and am done. I am pro reseller, but not the pushy, predatory, entitled kind. Respect others. I’ve gone to find a lake to jump into.
Perhaps you were confused about the situation. It is very unusual to allow people to shop your yard sale, but not to accept any cash. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, whether it’s on their property or on their channel. I wouldn’t want you to stay here if you’re not enjoying yourself.
I’m sorry, but people have these sales at their homes and can do what they want. Pushy entitled pickers can wait. You were rude and your attitude is awful.
If you watched any of my other videos, you would know that I have a pretty positive attitude, actually. Of course, they can have their own rules, but I might not like them. When I was a teenager, my parents made rules I didn’t like, and I probably spoke out about it.
And I was not pushy or rude to the sellers at all, in case others have not watched the whole video. I simply expressed surprise and disappointment about the odd situation to my fellow pickers, who felt the same way I did.
@@FlippinLizzieyou’re at someone’s house, they’re allowing you on their property, you do what they say, and as a whole you are representing a group that is not well thot of at the moment, we need to be careful, there is one major thrifting outlet that is now charging resellers additional $$$$.
I did respect their wishes. I was not rude to anyone. I did tell pickers I knew nearby that I was disappointed by the situation. I don’t think that that’s a bad thing for a person to do.
Their stuff, their time putting it together, their hours, their property. Like it, or leave.
Yes, they certainly get to make their own rules. I was only expressing my opinion about the rules, and if you watch the video I did leave and came back one they were actually selling.
Great haul!
Thank you!!!

I like your sense of humor on this!

Thank you for the compliment! I loved that color, too!
I got a glass pepper at 2 and ave the other day.
I love those!!!!

The reason I spot lighted Yurok is bc they made lids like yours. Your basket definitely has charisma/spirit :)
You are such a kind and generous spirit! Thank you so much for all of the detailed information. I love learning new things!
So, if the local bakery opens at 8 do you show up at 7 and complain why you cant get your donuts yet?
Only if they let me in and let me pick out stuff but make me wait to check out :) If you’re not open then why are people shopping?
Its not your yard sale. You need to respect them.

Those beaded clutches are cute!!
I think so too! 😍

Thank you so much for letting me know! I really appreciate it!
Beautiful finds!!!
Thanks for watching! Even after such an unusual start, I was pretty happy with the vintage treasures that I was able to find to share with you. 😀
I love those coach bags! Will they be in your booths soon? That’s the exact style I want 😊

I’ll have to double check on that but let’s stay in touch for sure?
For sure.
Thank you!

I fully admit that I was complaining to people I know
You make it sound like THEY WOULDN'T SELL "YOU" ANYTHING!!! When in fact they weren't READY yet!! 😅😅😅 Anything for views right???
They would not, in fact, sell any of us anything. I stand by that statement.
