- I am not a professional. This video is for entertainment purposes only. I am not sponsored by any company mentioned in this video. I did this install based on my own research and used my own money to purchase the products.
In this video I will install the ICT Billet alternator bracket kit. I have to install my flex plate as this is "hopefully" the last time I install this engine. I will install the engine back in the truck and show the clearance around the manual steering box that I installed in my last video.

This is shaping up to be a solid build! Glad to see that alternate belt worked out with the setup
@ICTBilletLLC Thanks and yes it is finally coming together. I am ready for the first drive for sure. Thanks for watching and commenting!!
Hey brother! Thank you for another informative video. Will be ordering the parts in your description tonight, as I generally do. I wanted to get the manual steering box but OReilys here said they cant get it, not even shipped to me which is disappointing. Have a fantastic weekend my friend.
@yourpcmd What! Can’t get it! I just ordered one. If I remember correctly Autozone was my second choice. As always thanks for the support and have a great weekend as well!
Do you know what oil pan can fit in a s10 1993 motor 5.3
@user-yi2fk8bl1d I used the replica of the Holley 302-1 because it doesn’t hang down past the crossmember. It is supposed to give you the most clearance, but I still had to notch my crossmember. I have see guys use the stock pan and the GM muscle car pan with good fitment results but the pan will hang under the crossmember by a couple of inches. The only pan that I myself have experienced is the replica of the 302-1. I did alot of research and still wound up notching my crossmember. Look up the GM muscle car pan and compare the dimensions. There are spec sheets all over the internet. I have a video on the oil pan that I used and you can see the clearance in the notch the frame videos I made. A 1993 would be the same as my 92 in my videos if you want to see what clearance I had. Links to the oil pan and notch video below so you can see the fitment. I hope this helps you figure out what you want to use. Thanks for watching and the question.
