I feel Torturehelm is underrated and forgotten. He can be fused as part of the Razin fusion and I think that's were everyone uses him then forgets him. But I remember Hellhades did a video of him soloing some content with a toxic set. He helped me get by so much content as well when I pulled him mostly because of his passive. 3 turn cooldown self revive. Its fairly easily to keep him alive and get him to go 3 turns in much content. He actually helped me win some battles in early classic Arena because they couldn't kill him fast enough and he kept popping up. And one of his abilities hits harder with each dead ally. I recently used him in Sintranos against the scarab on normal and I haven't updated his build at all since I first geared him up.
I've basically grown up through raid so far on the back of HP champions. My first legendaries ever were HP types, and from the first 7 I eventually collected there, over half was HP-type (Cybele, Raf, Alsgor....) So, continuing that line one Epic I would consider here is ILYSINYA (or however you spell her name) Got her in a full Bolsterset complemented with ... Immortal I think, as much freaking HP as I can squeeze from her. She's the n'th champion I have that can take hits like there's no tomorrow.
For me such a champion is Pann the Bowhorn from Sylvan Watchers. I haven't seen a single video about him but he is great. Decent multipliers so he can deal some nice damage, crowd control with his freezes on A1 and true fear on A3 and also easy to build because as long as he is fasten than the enemy he will ignore 50% of enemy's res. Have I mentioned he has a 20% speed aura in all battles? I use him in my Fire Knight hard stage 6 team.
2:37 I've actually been using Oathbound on my Fire Knight free to play account, he's genuinely solid with that 4x hitter, and the decrease turn meter. Just wish he had some form of multi-hit on any other ability
About Canoness - I built her relatively 'late' - after I already completed Sacred Order Faction Crypt, just because her kit looked interesting and funny, especially for Hydra. And she did have her uses, coming out in some weird places - usually a Secret Room or something, but she also acted as a mini-Nekhret in Arena a few times. I don't have a big Soul for her so unless I am really limited in which champions I can use she isn't seeing much play in the Cursed City yet. But I actually built her for Hydra, where she just didn't do what I wanted her to do (her A1 is too disjointed with her A3 and her A3 is bugged, placing an undocumented Increase DEF buff on herself as well - which is great, but not for Hydra!). Her A2 also screams Phantom's Grove, but that dungeon wasn't out yet at the time. But her A1 is again out of place. Her Aura is also wonky, mostly because I never used her in FAction Crypts, nor did I even consider it. She's decent-ish, but her kit doesn't quite come together the way it should, and that is a disgrace.
Yeah, I've used some streaming services before, absolutely don't touch normal TV outside of it being on while over at family stuff and someone wants to watch a football game, but I almost always have youtube on at least in the background. And as someone who works from home... that's a lot... Edit: Canoness' A3 legitimately made me sit up in my chair and check that my eyes weren't deceiving me. That's actually really freakin good. I remember looking at her kit when I pulled her a bit ago, but didn't pay attention to the CD from booking. Build her as the fastest and tanky in maybe a regen set and that's permanent big ally protect, permanent big increase defense with a good bit of healing too.
I'm now inspired to build cannoness. I've been struggling with the sacred order crypt, so she just might be the missing piece. Thank you for the vid on her.
He is slept on, gets banned in rta occasionally. maxed him out. few of my favorites that will never go out of style. Him and Miscreated Monster I recommend new player to seek out.
I'd have to say the undervalued champ that has made the greatest impact on my account is Sachi. I still use her often as my speed booster in arenas after getting Arbiter because of her damage. Her resurrect on kills passive has been clutch in numerous occasions. An overlooked facet of her passive is that ANY friendly revival (even Sun Wukong) has a 50% chance to Fear all enemies. Add that to her AoE A1 and a single target leech/crit rate debuff A2 - you have quite a unique champ! I also need to give you mad props on your evangelistic pursuit of Tagoar followers - that champ is a BEAST!! In the vein of your Scyl overshadow video, I have subbed her out for Tagoar on multiple teams.
Nobody talks about Sanguinia. 3 hitter on the A1, full ally clense on her A3 which also transfers her debuffs to the target, and a heal and block debuffs on her A2
Love sanguinia, used her until I got Uugo and Apoth(ended up with 3 of each in the same month.....) she's been a vault guardian besides doom tower floors I need her and she's come in clutch for cursed city.
My man Vergis was my very first epic pull and he's still very active on my account 6 months later. I recently pulled both Galkut and Fang Cleric and they've been helping my FW progression. Also have to say that Vogoth's passive AoE heal is insane for my FW team. I'll be looking for more opportunities to use them in both Sintranos and Doom Tower. Really appreciate this video, Ash.
I have a 6 star awakened Necrohunter and he smacks super hard. Used him in DT secret rooms & CC. Tomoe helped heped get me through shadowkin faction wars with her increase speed aura & turn meter boosts. And gave ninja a counterattack. Also has an aoe decrease attack. Duedan the Runic is super tanky, has a taunt & counterattack on himself. His A2 hits surprisingly hard & adds a nice AOE sheild AND increases all buffs on allies by 1 turn. On top of that he has a 60% chance to cleanse a debuff on all allies every time he uses his a1 - which works nicely with his counterattack! And hoskarul is one of my favorite epics in the game with his stuns & a aoe increase def with a nice little resistance boost. And his passive increases damage inflicted by allies to enemies under stun. Those are my picks for underrated obscure epics.

My five most under rated epics ☺️ Kaiden - Revive - Kaiden, Hoforees's bud seems to be the best reviver of raid to always miss on that CC love 💔.. plot twist: he actually.. smacks? Fyr-gun Isbeil - DMG - Had four of her once.. fused them. Still hear that little *sigh + click. What a cool epic 💥 Thylessia - The engine -Is she getting all that CC luv she deserves? Look at this kit.. oh my oh boy 🎯 Crimson Helm - Defence - Slap some regeneration gear on. Maybe play with the upcoming blessings.. Can she become immortal? Propably a cousin of Vergis.. Anax - DMG dealer - This guy lurks in in the CC's honorable mentions as much these others. Propably with his buddy Faceless. Yet nobody makes hype videos about them, sniffles 🙁.. So there you go Ash. I made you a whole team to dabble with and slipped in a few sneaky subs too. In my opion all of these champions could have a little more time in the spotlight. They are all about fun ☺️✌️
I love these type videos where you need to think outside of the box. I recently maxed out scrapper. Probably ate him a few hundred times prior. He is kitted for scarab king. And I duo'd him with woad painted on hard mode. Put him in destroy gear to up the destruction of scarab hp

Two obscure epics I enjoy are Pharsalas Gravedirt, and Bovos Sharphorn. Pharsalas has an obscene passive when run bulky alongside a squishy Wukong, and Bovos has crazy arena heals when in a bulky go second team.
I don't know why, but I've always wanted to max out the 4 original starter choices of the game. I have 6 accounts, but I've never got around to doing it. I've always heard that Kael is the best, but I originally went with Galek. Is there any worth to ever maxing them all out on the same team?
I am totally addicted to TH-cam. Besides Raid content, I also follow a lot of how-to channels for things like Photoshop, growing food, cooking/baking, and tabletop gaming stuff (painting minis, industry news, satire). What little regular TV I watch is sports related. I occasionally devour a series on Prime (Bosch, Reacher). As for champs I would like to see you cover, I just pulled Ostrox Boneglaive and I find little information about him. He reads like he'd be awesome for Hydra (and I was pleased to see the HH web site agrees-I am learning-go me!). If you could do one of your champ guides on Ostrox, I'd appreciate it. I get a lot more out of seeing champs in action and hearing your reasoning behind doing a certain build than I do just reading recommendations on a web site without a lot of context.
I'd say oathbound and Galkut are the top two for me on this list. I use both heavily in faction wars. And oathbound now has even more use for me now that cursed city is here, which is where players are gonna need alot of crowd control. I had already equipped him in frost/frostbite gear even before the update, so that was a great investment. One really quality epic I don't see get mentioned enough is Sachi from the shadowkin faction. Her skill set is super unique and she can do stuff alot of other champs simply just don't do as well. Sachi is one of the best epic support champs that I don't see get enough love.
I actually started watching waaay more YT since I started following RSL CCs. Just realised how much time I spend on it and that I might want to reduce it a bit 😅 I pulled Oathbound a whole ago and he's waiting to be build to help me finish FW, hopefully. Good to know he'll also be useful for Sintranos in (far 😂) future. Think I have 1-2 more of the champs you showcased (most of them actually), so thanks for the vid! I like these types of vids.
Chancellor Yasmin is another champion with a 2 turn cooldown skill that I actually really like even though people don't generally like her and, for sure, she could use a buff and her AI is wonky. She has what amounts to almost a full HP heal on a single target on a 2 turn cooldown which I really like, and a 75% chance buff strip is pretty useful in places like Sintranos too. In wave content you can often just focus in on the enemies who did have buffs removed for starters and ignore those who didn't so not being 100% chance isn't the end of the world.
For your first question I am likely 40% youtube 60%all other content (Netflix,Amazon Prime,Disney, Twitch etc) so I would agree with your statement. Second Sintranos for the most part is the only place that requires epics (besides doom tower) so yeah slept or havent maxed a lot of them. Thanks for showing us what they can do. Last I am needing help with Mission 5/7 Clear High Elf Stage 14. If all you had was Arbiter, Yannica and rares (sorry Skeuramis) do you think you could beat it and setup for it
Frostbringer. Super underrated. I can't beat Fire knight 20 without her. 100% heal reduction on her A1. She's amazing but everyone hates her. Yeah, there are other champs that do what she does and are better than her, but I don't have those champs.
I would agree if I didn't have both A Coldheart and Alure already by the time I got her, she looks cool, and seemed very interesting. Leveled her but never got her into anything specific by that time.
Even thou cursed city can be annoying, you'll probably agree that one of the coolest parts, is pushing people to use champs they might not ever of tried using, its cool the versatility it requires , I think this video and lot of the ones you do showcase that

Grunch from Ogryn tribes is also a very good champ. Full team cleanse and continuous heal for each debuff removed. He usually fully heals all the champions in the team against Nether Spider
Probably 90% YT. If you want to learn pretty much anything, from building a Raid champ to learning to use an SLR camera professionally you can find it here. I really started using Galkut after I got a 6* soul for him, for obvious reasons. He’s not bad!
The champions that aren’t really talked about are delver and crypt witch, i feel like delver can be a little fun due to the fact that she is kinda wonky (more wonky when she didn’t get the buff) but also she places increase attack and then attack all enemies and crypt witch is a nice damage dealer prob for pvp but the buff that they gave her now makes her more type of a pve champion i also think she can be a clanboss nuker maybe although not heavily recommended but maybe early game cb damage dealer is good ig.
okay, here is a weird one but I have been using tolf the maimed sometimes for difficult doomtower hard floors, or in arena. capitalizing on taking tanky champs down to half hp or revivers down to half hp in one hit guaranteed so a nuker can follow up and finish them off. side bonus halving all enemy shields on his turn is pretty damn good too
Many thanks for the update on Fang Cleric. He sounds like a great option. Still battling Faction wars. In regards to viewing, about 65 to70% of my viewing is You Tube. I watch while I play Raid & other games.
Hard to pick my favorite obscure epic... It's got to be between Sachi, Anchorite, and Liburga. Sachi is awesome, she's got an Arbiter like inc atk and turn meter boost, which is super cool for an epic. She also has an aoe a1 that places dec acc and is a great candidate for stun set. Back when the shadowkin were just introduced, she was my first epic and she basically carried me through faction wars. I even got some use out of her conditional revive. Anchorite is just a slept on champ. Again another aoe a1. But he is not in stun set. I run him in cursed set. He's got some good damage buffs, a buff extender champ, and the aoe a1 with a small heal and hex if you build him in cursed. If you're looking for a buff extender for you hydra team, he's fantastic! Lastly is Liburga. She's got some poisons and a nice inc atk/inc def ability but it's really all about her passive. When hit, 50% chance of inc duration of poison debuffs. I have been throwing her on teams that use poison just to see how she fares and she has already stolen a couple spots on main teams. She replaced dark kael on my dragon hard team and I just slapped her in my scarab team next to my solo champ (urost) and it really sped up the run. I used to slowly widdle down the scarab boss with 1 or 2 poisons at a time. Maybe if I am lucky I end up with 4 or so poisons for a turn... Now I watch it and it's a full debuff bar with poison sensitivity and 9 poisons... and all the poisons are at about 15 turn duration by the end of it. It's awesome!
Ilysinya is a great champ I feel is underrated. She is a newer champ though to be fair. Her Sheilds are so strong and she is incredibly tanky and does a surprising amount of damage. Since Wukong she isn’t as useful in the arena anymore but she is still great most other places. Her passive is also super handy and makes her great against bosses. She also steals buffs so I love her in potion keeps. I hear she is great in hydra (I don’t play hydra tbh). She helped me beat Scarab king as well. I have her in regeneration and perception. Height HP, Defense, and Accuracy.
Finally love for my Cannoness ty ash I think I commented on her being your next build guide because of her stupid hitting abilities and survivability I'm happy she got some spot light 😊
Canoness is the reason I finally finished Sacred Order faction wars. Being 100% F2P, I have limited champs as it is. The final squad was Shamael and Fenax at 60. Canoness, Athel and Sanguinia at 50! I booked Canoness until the A3 was a 2 turn cd, and a bit of speed. As long as people aren’t getting one shot, they live. Shout out to this underrated champ!
somewhat obscure champions i rock with ~ leggos would be shemnath she smacks crazy but she's just so squishy good with emic paired up for ex also I feel like Samar, Nari, Claidna, Roxam, Tramaria, Vasal, Truath and Marnix are quite good ~ For epics I'd say Malkith is solid, Locwain, Nogoryo and Yelagirna are good as well ~ As far as rares go I'd say Prosecutor, Dilgol and Torrux are nice for sure
Hey Ash, here to share with you team that has been helping me get through all of the waves in the doom tower hard with some half decent mid game gear. I use Tormin, Artak, Blizaar, Mithrala and Yumeko. PS. I use Yumeko mainly to reset for the next wave, so you could probably replace her with some more acessible champion.
Having started only recently, Woad-painted is my only epic healer & cleanser for now. Gave her as much hp as I could and was not disappointed with her healing with an ascended a2. Shoutout to the rare Master Butcher as well! Love the small party heals whenever this beast of a tank gets hit.
Really happy with this, as i have 4 out of 5 in my vault. So will gradually start building them. I found Tomoe (SK, epic) surprisingly helpful in faction wars and cursed city.
@@soflamed876 I have used a swift parry set for arena to make him even harder to kill, but immortal/ life / speed / accuracy / perception would work too, prioritising Hp, speed, ACC and Crit.
I've got Aina on my Bateater Clanboss team. Her A2 has a 100% chance to Weaken for 3T on a 3T cooldown (booked), her A3 has a 100% chance to Dec.Defense for 3T on a 4T cooldown. She's on the team for the debuffs, but her damage is decent. She's the same affinity as Seeker (Magic) and as 5 star ascended [Cruelty] (Aina) does the same damage as Seeker (who is 6 star ascended [Phantom Touch]). That is comparable to the better Maneater who is 3 star ascended and ahead of the 2nd Maneater (who is in Toxic).
My wife makes fun of how much I am on TH-cam, but I am mostly using it while I am doing other things. I listen to music mixes while working on graphic designs for my business, and I play various videos I don't have to watch (only listen to) while I play games. For example, I'm playing this one in the background while playing a game--and waiting for the dryer to finish with my laundry, lol! (See, men can too multi-task!) But I do use TH-cam to access summaries of news and sports; if I'm interested enough, I go to the actual sources to stream stuff directly. I am paying for a lot of streaming subscriptions that I use only sporadically. If our family finances take a hit, they will be the first things to go. Incidentally, Oathbound is one of the first Epics I ever pulled. I have him up to level 50, but I admit I have slept on him. Maybe I will pull him out of mothballs and see what I can do with him; I DO like defense-based Champions.
I watch about 60% TH-cam then it's pretty evenly split between HBO, Hulu, Netflix and Amazon. I have to take breaks from Raid here and there to actually have a life. During winter it's difficult. During summer, I do Wildland Firefighting and I can't be on my phone other than phone calls if there's service where I'm at. I'm WAY happier during summer. That circadian rhythm is real. I encourage everyone reading this to unplug every now and then.
Jizoh? I used full immortal gear. Between him and vergis they can carry my doom tower team (including scyl). Haven't beaten the tower yet. Need some niche champions still
Ash, this has nothing to do with this video, but I feel we should have a permanent 10x for regular legendary champions, and a 5x for void champions. It is getting very hard to get a champion you need as they keep adding more and more. As of right now, there are 167 legendary champions, and 56 void champs you can pull from shards. Even if you happen to pull a sacred and get a legendary off of the 6% chance. A champ you need is less than a 0.6% chance of getting it. That means trying to get a Duchess from a Sacred would be 0.04% per shard.
Just got Lorn the Cutter recently and was intrigued so this is definitely good timing cuz I am planning on building him. Remember when Cannoness got her buff but never went back to her, maybe I’ll take another look though. Also got Scabrius recently and was thinking of building him too. Interesting choices for sure, Ash.
like 80% of my media consumption is youtube. I keep it on in the background while I work most of the day, and I only watch a few TV shows via streaming apps, etc. :)
One champion I was surprised over was Duhr the Hungerer. I just really needed something to take me through Demonspawn FW since I had nothing to deal with the bomb champs with even after like two years off playing and maxed him out. And boy I like him! Not an S tier but really solid. Stun on the A1, ally reflect damage, continuous heal and a regular heal on his A2 and a two champ revive with 50% hp and turn meter. Check him out.
i used galkut for a while i'm pretty sure if you click an enemy it attacks that enemy first then hits everyone else randomly? so not sure why you said you wish you could choose the first target when you can.
Oathbound got me through Bannerlords FW when it first released on my original account. He's a banger if you just need help getting through content, not necessarily speed clearing.
As a Shadowkin loyalist, I think Kunoichi is not only underrated but the only decent "healer" from the Shadowkin faction. Combined with Hotatsu, your Faction War runs will be a bit smoother. The problem with Shadowkin Faction war is that they have no sustain and realies heavily on their protection tanks like Toragi, Kyoku, and funnily enough Kunoichi who can apply both leech and Ally protection. Shadowkin severely lacks healers and revivers, with it only being Riho and Kinagashi(respectively)
Still pretty new to RSL. I had to use Canoness for FW despite her low rating just due to not having many champions yet,. I thought she seemed pretty useful.
I'm probably close to 95% TH-cam. I really only switch if there's a fight I want to watch & it isn't already on TH-cam. Sometimes, very rarely, I'll watch a TV show on Netflix or HBO, but the streaming stuff is primarily for the wife & kids.
I bought a brand new TV and got subscriptions to Netflix Hulu and all that and hardly watch it at all because I'm always watching TH-cam on my phone or tablet. I'd say at least 90%. Thanks for the content bro I appreciate you always.

Before I had a decent roster, then Spirithost was used a lot. Same with the Reliquary Tender/Apothecary duo. I use Noct the Paralyzer a lot. I put him in bolster set. His sleep effect can be useful, especially in Sand Devil.
Cursed city has improved a lot of champs worth. It’s a good thing. I got stuck on normal but built wuzgar for fire knight. 4 hitter a1, heals, restores destroyed max hp. He’s not bad! Got the shield down easy
hey ash was to excited to tell you i finally pushed hard dragon,ice golem ended up building artak to solo hes still missing 30 speed and 20k hp but he did it. ice golem 1hard solo hard spider 2 dragon 1 with a team built around him stage 6 spider!! ice golem 3 dragon 3
Most of my TH-cam time is watching Ash's Raid Vids while RSL is on autoplay... If Galkut attacks all enemies in random order, what happens if you use him in spider and he happens to hit the Mother Spider near to or last in the series...?
TH-cam for Content. Epic that I think is great, and way underrated is Duhr the Hungerer. His aoe Reflect is great for Fire Knight, Plus double Revive and great healer for carrying a team. Massively Underrated imo.

Edit: Canoness' A3 legitimately made me sit up in my chair and check that my eyes weren't deceiving me. That's actually really freakin good. I remember looking at her kit when I pulled her a bit ago, but didn't pay attention to the CD from booking. Build her as the fastest and tanky in maybe a regen set and that's permanent big ally protect, permanent big increase defense with a good bit of healing too.

I've nearly got one up to 60 after getting a 4 star soul and.im really pleased with him. Hits pretty hard too
He is slept on, gets banned in rta occasionally. maxed him out. few of my favorites that will never go out of style. Him and Miscreated Monster I recommend new player to seek out.
I'd have to say the undervalued champ that has made the greatest impact on my account is Sachi. I still use her often as my speed booster in arenas after getting Arbiter because of her damage. Her resurrect on kills passive has been clutch in numerous occasions. An overlooked facet of her passive is that ANY friendly revival (even Sun Wukong) has a 50% chance to Fear all enemies. Add that to her AoE A1 and a single target leech/crit rate debuff A2 - you have quite a unique champ!
I also need to give you mad props on your evangelistic pursuit of Tagoar followers - that champ is a BEAST!! In the vein of your Scyl overshadow video, I have subbed her out for Tagoar on multiple teams.
Nobody talks about Sanguinia. 3 hitter on the A1, full ally clense on her A3 which also transfers her debuffs to the target, and a heal and block debuffs on her A2
Love sanguinia, used her until I got Uugo and Apoth(ended up with 3 of each in the same month.....) she's been a vault guardian besides doom tower floors I need her and she's come in clutch for cursed city.
@andrewtobin7774 yeah I got Uugo recently so Sanguinia has been used a lot less lately but still my only champ with a full cleanse.

My man Vergis was my very first epic pull and he's still very active on my account 6 months later. I recently pulled both Galkut and Fang Cleric and they've been helping my FW progression. Also have to say that Vogoth's passive AoE heal is insane for my FW team. I'll be looking for more opportunities to use them in both Sintranos and Doom Tower. Really appreciate this video, Ash.
I have a 6 star awakened Necrohunter and he smacks super hard. Used him in DT secret rooms & CC.
Tomoe helped heped get me through shadowkin faction wars with her increase speed aura & turn meter boosts. And gave ninja a counterattack. Also has an aoe decrease attack.
Duedan the Runic is super tanky, has a taunt & counterattack on himself. His A2 hits surprisingly hard & adds a nice AOE sheild AND increases all buffs on allies by 1 turn. On top of that he has a 60% chance to cleanse a debuff on all allies every time he uses his a1 - which works nicely with his counterattack!
And hoskarul is one of my favorite epics in the game with his stuns & a aoe increase def with a nice little resistance boost. And his passive increases damage inflicted by allies to enemies under stun.
Those are my picks for underrated obscure epics.

- Kaiden, Hoforees's bud seems to be the best reviver of raid to always miss on that CC love 💔.. plot twist: he actually.. smacks?

- Had four of her once.. fused them. Still hear that little *sigh + click. What a cool epic 💥
Thylessia - The engine
-Is she getting all that CC luv she deserves? Look at this kit.. oh my oh boy 🎯
Crimson Helm - Defence
- Slap some regeneration gear on. Maybe play with the upcoming blessings.. Can she become immortal? Propably a cousin of Vergis..
Anax - DMG dealer
- This guy lurks in in the CC's honorable mentions as much these others. Propably with his buddy Faceless. Yet nobody makes hype videos about them, sniffles 🙁..
So there you go Ash. I made you a whole team to dabble with and slipped in a few sneaky subs too. In my opion all of these champions could have a little more time in the spotlight.

I love these type videos where you need to think outside of the box. I recently maxed out scrapper. Probably ate him a few hundred times prior. He is kitted for scarab king. And I duo'd him with woad painted on hard mode. Put him in destroy gear to up the destruction of scarab hp

Two obscure epics I enjoy are Pharsalas Gravedirt, and Bovos Sharphorn. Pharsalas has an obscene passive when run bulky alongside a squishy Wukong, and Bovos has crazy arena heals when in a bulky go second team.

Pharsalas was my hard carry in faction wars till my roster filled out a bit. Hes not great, but not horrible either.

I don't know why, but I've always wanted to max out the 4 original starter choices of the game. I have 6 accounts, but I've never got around to doing it. I've always heard that Kael is the best, but I originally went with Galek. Is there any worth to ever maxing them all out on the same team?
I am totally addicted to TH-cam. Besides Raid content, I also follow a lot of how-to channels for things like Photoshop, growing food, cooking/baking, and tabletop gaming stuff (painting minis, industry news, satire). What little regular TV I watch is sports related. I occasionally devour a series on Prime (Bosch, Reacher).
As for champs I would like to see you cover, I just pulled Ostrox Boneglaive and I find little information about him. He reads like he'd be awesome for Hydra (and I was pleased to see the HH web site agrees-I am learning-go me!). If you could do one of your champ guides on Ostrox, I'd appreciate it. I get a lot more out of seeing champs in action and hearing your reasoning behind doing a certain build than I do just reading recommendations on a web site without a lot of context.
I'd say oathbound and Galkut are the top two for me on this list. I use both heavily in faction wars. And oathbound now has even more use for me now that cursed city is here, which is where players are gonna need alot of crowd control. I had already equipped him in frost/frostbite gear even before the update, so that was a great investment. One really quality epic I don't see get mentioned enough is Sachi from the shadowkin faction. Her skill set is super unique and she can do stuff alot of other champs simply just don't do as well. Sachi is one of the best epic support champs that I don't see get enough love.

Chancellor Yasmin is another champion with a 2 turn cooldown skill that I actually really like even though people don't generally like her and, for sure, she could use a buff and her AI is wonky. She has what amounts to almost a full HP heal on a single target on a 2 turn cooldown which I really like, and a 75% chance buff strip is pretty useful in places like Sintranos too. In wave content you can often just focus in on the enemies who did have buffs removed for starters and ignore those who didn't so not being 100% chance isn't the end of the world.
For your first question I am likely 40% youtube 60%all other content (Netflix,Amazon Prime,Disney, Twitch etc) so I would agree with your statement. Second Sintranos for the most part is the only place that requires epics (besides doom tower) so yeah slept or havent maxed a lot of them. Thanks for showing us what they can do. Last I am needing help with Mission 5/7 Clear High Elf Stage 14. If all you had was Arbiter, Yannica and rares (sorry Skeuramis) do you think you could beat it and setup for it

Frostbringer. Super underrated. I can't beat Fire knight 20 without her. 100% heal reduction on her A1. She's amazing but everyone hates her. Yeah, there are other champs that do what she does and are better than her, but I don't have those champs.

I would agree if I didn't have both A Coldheart and Alure already by the time I got her, she looks cool, and seemed very interesting. Leveled her but never got her into anything specific by that time.

Grunch from Ogryn tribes is also a very good champ. Full team cleanse and continuous heal for each debuff removed. He usually fully heals all the champions in the team against Nether Spider
I would say about 50% TH-cam, 20% Paramount, 15% Disney , 10% Netflix. and 5% HBO (MAX).

Canoness has just been without gear for the last year since I got her, thanks for pointing out her strengths!
The champions that aren’t really talked about are delver and crypt witch, i feel like delver can be a little fun due to the fact that she is kinda wonky (more wonky when she didn’t get the buff) but also she places increase attack and then attack all enemies and crypt witch is a nice damage dealer prob for pvp but the buff that they gave her now makes her more type of a pve champion i also think she can be a clanboss nuker maybe although not heavily recommended but maybe early game cb damage dealer is good ig.
okay, here is a weird one but I have been using tolf the maimed sometimes for difficult doomtower hard floors, or in arena. capitalizing on taking tanky champs down to half hp or revivers down to half hp in one hit guaranteed so a nuker can follow up and finish them off. side bonus halving all enemy shields on his turn is pretty damn good too
Many thanks for the update on Fang Cleric. He sounds like a great option. Still battling Faction wars. In regards to viewing, about 65 to70% of my viewing is You Tube. I watch while I play Raid & other games.
Hard to pick my favorite obscure epic... It's got to be between Sachi, Anchorite, and Liburga. Sachi is awesome, she's got an Arbiter like inc atk and turn meter boost, which is super cool for an epic. She also has an aoe a1 that places dec acc and is a great candidate for stun set. Back when the shadowkin were just introduced, she was my first epic and she basically carried me through faction wars. I even got some use out of her conditional revive. Anchorite is just a slept on champ. Again another aoe a1. But he is not in stun set. I run him in cursed set. He's got some good damage buffs, a buff extender champ, and the aoe a1 with a small heal and hex if you build him in cursed. If you're looking for a buff extender for you hydra team, he's fantastic! Lastly is Liburga. She's got some poisons and a nice inc atk/inc def ability but it's really all about her passive. When hit, 50% chance of inc duration of poison debuffs. I have been throwing her on teams that use poison just to see how she fares and she has already stolen a couple spots on main teams. She replaced dark kael on my dragon hard team and I just slapped her in my scarab team next to my solo champ (urost) and it really sped up the run. I used to slowly widdle down the scarab boss with 1 or 2 poisons at a time. Maybe if I am lucky I end up with 4 or so poisons for a turn... Now I watch it and it's a full debuff bar with poison sensitivity and 9 poisons... and all the poisons are at about 15 turn duration by the end of it. It's awesome!
Ilysinya is a great champ I feel is underrated. She is a newer champ though to be fair. Her Sheilds are so strong and she is incredibly tanky and does a surprising amount of damage. Since Wukong she isn’t as useful in the arena anymore but she is still great most other places. Her passive is also super handy and makes her great against bosses. She also steals buffs so I love her in potion keeps. I hear she is great in hydra (I don’t play hydra tbh). She helped me beat Scarab king as well. I have her in regeneration and perception. Height HP, Defense, and Accuracy.
Finally love for my Cannoness ty ash I think I commented on her being your next build guide because of her stupid hitting abilities and survivability I'm happy she got some spot light 😊
Canoness is the reason I finally finished Sacred Order faction wars. Being 100% F2P, I have limited champs as it is. The final squad was Shamael and Fenax at 60. Canoness, Athel and Sanguinia at 50! I booked Canoness until the A3 was a 2 turn cd, and a bit of speed. As long as people aren’t getting one shot, they live. Shout out to this underrated champ!

somewhat obscure champions i rock with ~ leggos would be shemnath she smacks crazy but she's just so squishy good with emic paired up for ex also I feel like Samar, Nari, Claidna, Roxam, Tramaria, Vasal, Truath and Marnix are quite good ~ For epics I'd say Malkith is solid, Locwain, Nogoryo and Yelagirna are good as well ~ As far as rares go I'd say Prosecutor, Dilgol and Torrux are nice for sure
Hey Ash, here to share with you team that has been helping me get through all of the waves in the doom tower hard with some half decent mid game gear. I use Tormin, Artak, Blizaar, Mithrala and Yumeko.
PS. I use Yumeko mainly to reset for the next wave, so you could probably replace her with some more acessible champion.

Having started only recently, Woad-painted is my only epic healer & cleanser for now. Gave her as much hp as I could and was not disappointed with her healing with an ascended a2. Shoutout to the rare Master Butcher as well! Love the small party heals whenever this beast of a tank gets hit.

I have a question: Is jurojin any good? i just got him, and he seems pretty good, but i was off put by the single target provoke.
I've got one at 50 so far and I'm planning on taking him to 6 star. Hits hard and hp based so along with his passive is really good at staying alive!

I've got Aina on my Bateater Clanboss team.
Her A2 has a 100% chance to Weaken for 3T on a 3T cooldown (booked), her A3 has a 100% chance to Dec.Defense for 3T on a 4T cooldown. She's on the team for the debuffs, but her damage is decent.
She's the same affinity as Seeker (Magic) and as 5 star ascended [Cruelty] (Aina) does the same damage as Seeker (who is 6 star ascended [Phantom Touch]). That is comparable to the better Maneater who is 3 star ascended and ahead of the 2nd Maneater (who is in Toxic).
I considered building Aina for CB (her debuffs were much more reliable than Suiren), but extra turn triggers on her A1 would break my unkillable.

I've always liked Shaman. Orc faction. She is a revivor, hits fairly hard, and has a buff strip.
My wife makes fun of how much I am on TH-cam, but I am mostly using it while I am doing other things. I listen to music mixes while working on graphic designs for my business, and I play various videos I don't have to watch (only listen to) while I play games. For example, I'm playing this one in the background while playing a game--and waiting for the dryer to finish with my laundry, lol! (See, men can too multi-task!)
But I do use TH-cam to access summaries of news and sports; if I'm interested enough, I go to the actual sources to stream stuff directly. I am paying for a lot of streaming subscriptions that I use only sporadically. If our family finances take a hit, they will be the first things to go.
Incidentally, Oathbound is one of the first Epics I ever pulled. I have him up to level 50, but I admit I have slept on him. Maybe I will pull him out of mothballs and see what I can do with him; I DO like defense-based Champions.
I watch about 60% TH-cam then it's pretty evenly split between HBO, Hulu, Netflix and Amazon. I have to take breaks from Raid here and there to actually have a life. During winter it's difficult. During summer, I do Wildland Firefighting and I can't be on my phone other than phone calls if there's service where I'm at. I'm WAY happier during summer. That circadian rhythm is real. I encourage everyone reading this to unplug every now and then.

Oathbound is my favorite champ aesthetically (I’m a fairly simple guy) and his usefulness makes him that much better. He’s a stalwart on my teams.
Ash, this has nothing to do with this video, but I feel we should have a permanent 10x for regular legendary champions, and a 5x for void champions. It is getting very hard to get a champion you need as they keep adding more and more. As of right now, there are 167 legendary champions, and 56 void champs you can pull from shards. Even if you happen to pull a sacred and get a legendary off of the 6% chance. A champ you need is less than a 0.6% chance of getting it. That means trying to get a Duchess from a Sacred would be 0.04% per shard.
Been playing for 14 months and Tagoar and Skeuramis are easily two of my best and favorite EPICS!
Man eater is an INCREDIBLE clan boss champ if paired with more unkillable,continuous heal and ally protect he can do some good damage

One champion I was surprised over was Duhr the Hungerer. I just really needed something to take me through Demonspawn FW since I had nothing to deal with the bomb champs with even after like two years off playing and maxed him out. And boy I like him! Not an S tier but really solid. Stun on the A1, ally reflect damage, continuous heal and a regular heal on his A2 and a two champ revive with 50% hp and turn meter. Check him out.
i used galkut for a while i'm pretty sure if you click an enemy it attacks that enemy first then hits everyone else randomly? so not sure why you said you wish you could choose the first target when you can.

As a Shadowkin loyalist, I think Kunoichi is not only underrated but the only decent "healer" from the Shadowkin faction.
Combined with Hotatsu, your Faction War runs will be a bit smoother. The problem with Shadowkin Faction war is that they have no sustain and realies heavily on their protection tanks like Toragi, Kyoku, and funnily enough Kunoichi who can apply both leech and Ally protection.
Shadowkin severely lacks healers and revivers, with it only being Riho and Kinagashi(respectively)
Toragi heals and so does hotatsu

I'm probably close to 95% TH-cam. I really only switch if there's a fight I want to watch & it isn't already on TH-cam. Sometimes, very rarely, I'll watch a TV show on Netflix or HBO, but the streaming stuff is primarily for the wife & kids.
I bought a brand new TV and got subscriptions to Netflix Hulu and all that and hardly watch it at all because I'm always watching TH-cam on my phone or tablet. I'd say at least 90%. Thanks for the content bro I appreciate you always.

Before I had a decent roster, then Spirithost was used a lot. Same with the Reliquary Tender/Apothecary duo.
I use Noct the Paralyzer a lot. I put him in bolster set. His sleep effect can be useful, especially in Sand Devil.

Cursed city has improved a lot of champs worth. It’s a good thing. I got stuck on normal but built wuzgar for fire knight. 4 hitter a1, heals, restores destroyed max hp. He’s not bad! Got the shield down easy
