i have never seen someone who is happy while explaining sonething as u do , u are a great person thx for the videos they are really helpful and easy to understand thanks to u
Its how a teacher takes so many lessons to explain this and then you come and make a few videos about elctrochemistry and I understand everything. Thanks you really helped me a lot.
After getting taught by you, I'm actually smiling, because I finally get it. I have online school and we have to learn things twice as fast, that's a hassle, these videos are a blessing.
Hi man! How’s life? Ik this is random but you seem to be experiencing online schooling way to early than all of us lol. Anyway, stay safe and lets hope that those who had to do online classes stay sane and calm. See ya
I love how you smile as you explain the process. It shows your dedication and passion for science. I didn't really understand this process at all and who knew it only took me 30 minutes to fully get it! It's all thanks to you!
Well, returned back home after giving my chemistry exam.. And guess what? I ROCKED MY EXAM! ALL CREDITS GO TO YOU THANK YOU SO MUCH You are the bestest teacher and an amazing person! Thank you so much!!!!!!!!😃😃😃😆🙌
I am so sad that how much time I have lost at my school with the terrible teachers and awful education system. in return your lovely descriptions of chemistry changed my life. thank you so much.
I am in the industry of producing rectifiers used for electroplating. I am fresh out of tech school, and had never learned electroplating/ high power rectifiers. Your videos have saved me hours of trying to learn it by myself. Thank you Tyler
You are an absolute LIFE SAVER. My chemistry teacher doesny explain anything. I just learned a whole topic worth in three videos. Thank you so much you beautiful soul .
You are so passionate about what you teach us and that's what makes learning special... and showing that you truly enjoy it made me enjoy and understand it completely too! Thank you so much!!
All of your videos shows enthusiasm whenever you talked about chemistry, and that what makes me inspired to learn more about my course. Even though my prof recommended some videos for more explanation about the certain topic, however, I do not really watched them- just few, it is because i learned more and i enjoy them when you were the one who's explaining.
His smile , its like he himslef knows that there will be no doubt in the students mind whatsoever, He enjoys what he is teaching, Thats passion right there.
Brilliant! Tyler I never did chemistry in school & as a 70 yes 70 pensioner I am loving your brain exercises. My 16 year old son is learning from your videos as I am. Chemically I don't have to explain my 70 to 16 equation but we just love your lessons. I can't see your subscribe button! Thanks for the use of your brain, please keep it up... Tony from South Africa
I can see why you are so excited about this, this is an awesome process! Thanks so much for your amazing videos! I like how its essentially "robbing peter to pay paul" here because the batteries pull the electrons away from the silver and then give them right back to the silver ions when they get to the copper.
Thank you so much for your crystal clear explanation of electroplating. I've worked with ion sources so the terms anode and cathode was an 'oh yah' moment. There is such a great verity in the application of scientific method but the laws don't change regardless of the application.
I watched your Ted talk. and that was awesome man... your videos are amazing, short and to the point. I learn and retain each concept you teach. thanku☺
Thank youu sooo soooo muchhhh. I finally understand electrolysis, electoplating & the redox topics nowww. You're an amazing teacher keep up the good work :)
Lots of Thanks Big Brother .... you made the concepts very clear... your videos are very helpful

Hey Tyler. I'm also a chemistry teacher and I find your videos very useful, but unfortunately they are not in Portuguese (my mother tongue) and most of my pupils are not able to understand. I would like (after finishing my chemistry PhD) to make similar videos in portuguese to help other people as you do. Congrats for your excelent work, you are an excellent teacher. (Sorry for my bad English)p.s.:Just a question: Which program do you use to put these three recorded screens together?
Your english is good!!! I bet it is a lot better now, considering three years have passed. Dei uma olhadinha no seu canal, tá bem interessante!! Parabéns!! Mas infelizmente não me ajudam muito, já que estou aprendendo tudo em inglês por aqui haha. Sucesso!!
5:45 It looks like someone off camera was messing with you and you found it extremely amusing but you didn't break. That's some boss level concentration skills. Impressive.
Tyler, after some days studying with great attention, I just completed your Elecrochemistry playlist. Man, what a ride! I almost can say that I could explain that to a random person and she would figure the thing out! Thank you so much for that! Do you have any complete courses on chemistry online? I'd definitely enroll!! Thank you, many blessings to you!
Exceptional video. Truly loved it. GREAT JOB:] . Just had a simple doubt, that how much time does it take for electroplating and for how long will the coated metal be useful. like would it rust or be perfectly f9.
Great video. Few questions though. What happens to the anions in the solution? And If we would pour AgCl(aq) into the electroplating cell, would it still work?
The anions in the solution just kinda sit there, balancing out the charge of the positive Ag+ ions. Check out my first electroplating video, where I talk about the "electrolyte." Also, AgCl wouldn't work for this, because it is not soluble in water. You need to use an ionic compound with Silver in it that is also able to dissolve in water. Great questions!
Awesome! Thanks for making the video! Based on your definition, electrochemistry is the relationship between electricity and chemistry. How about electroless plating? is it a branch under electrochemistry or just a redox reaction? How about glavanic corrosion? Looking forward to your reply. Thank you
Hi Tyler, Excellent video and demonstration. To coat Ag in Cu, the solution itself seems to enough because it contains Agno3 , why then separate electrode? It is funny question but always arises in my mind. pls shoot me with your responds
hey! I hope you find this helpful...if yes, then please help me with my doubt if you know :- why not the electron joins the copper on the right side(cathode) ??? Why it always attracts to the Ag+ ???
I've really enjoyed your videos as they helped me truly comprehend basic Chemistry. Thank you! I was just curious if the electroplating occurs perfectly evenly across the surface of the material being plated, or if it doesn't and is simply not noticeable since it's at an atomic level. If it does occur evenly, what factors in this process allow this to happen?
i have never seen someone who is happy while explaining sonething as u do , u are a great person thx for the videos they are really helpful and easy to understand thanks to u
Seriously! It's like a kid explaining their experience at a candy store! He's awesome!
U r right
