  • When being treated for atrial fibrillation, being fit is best. Investigators found that those with the best cardiovascular fitness more likely to maintain long term sinus rhythm, come off antiarrhythmic medications and have improved mortality. This study reinforces the impact that cardiovascular risk factors such as weight, blood pressure, diabetes, sleep apnea - and now cardiovascular fitness has on atrial fibrillation management.

How about for paroxysmal afib? I heard just now that ablation is normally for the most part only for symptomatic afib but not yet for paroxysmal afib. Great news for me coz I have only paroxysmal afib and yet some doctors at some nj clinics or hospital systems are urging me to undergo ablation already even this very early in my paroxysmal afib. Is this ethical or even illegal???

if they're harassing you then yes its probably a problem, you can call patient relations and report it. i had ablation done and its been so much better. its worth it
