@Ralph L. Baer And I guess its so dope to be able to sample actual musical work of others, to be able to then "work on music". Creation is usually independent of other people's works, but I do get what you're saying.
I play multiple instruments as a session musician, as well as use a sampler to create, so I have a different view on real musical creation and what is a true channel for the divine, or not.
@@thekeysman6760sound is sound. Many sample based producers can take a sample and completely rearrange it to sound like a completely different song. J Dilla Don’t Cry for example, Jay Z’s Story of OJ for example, Dj Premier Work for example. Sampling is alchemy. Taking existing elements and transforming them to something new.

How do you record your audio for these videos?
I send the audio to my audio interface and record it to Logic pro then put the video and audio together in davinci resolve

I got some packs on Bandcamp
"Jazz Blues"? I heard no blues in any of what was sampled. Dubious 'genre' anyway, as blues scales and chord progressions are too restrictive for a jazzer, so it's a moot subject amongst most musicians, regardless of how industry likes to pigeon hole everything.
not saying its a bad look but its funny how every 40+ yr old dude i know that makes this style of sample based music wears glasses and that hat currently. dope beat, cool vid
