Yup, that's how I be feeling. On the other hand, if your alone and don't have a woman, the flip side of that is you are free. 50 o/o of marriages end in divorce, and it's the women who bring the divorces. There are tons of videos on U tube exposing women's true nature. How they use and manipulate men. How once they get married they stop having sex, turn into insufferable bitches, and also into fat pigs. It's really common.

That spark from my 20s just left me sadly. Im now 35 and feel ive realized how reality and things in general work. I was naive in my 20s and ignorance really is bliss. The excitement of learning new things combined with the energy i used to have was amazing. I dont want to live forever so im just enjoying myself the best i can.

It's the job part I can't come to terms with. I'd rather be dead than work a job like that. I've always been self employed and low income. I quit my freelancing job to mow lawns, I am much happier doing that and it is very flexible. But work will never bring meaning to my life and I still resent the time that is lost and dealing with difficult people.

@@bigchief2331 I think it's called money ? Children and women like to spend, all women. I could have given my ex wife 300 K and she would still have wanted more. If a man is broke, he may as well give up on the aspiration to a family life, but many realise actually that that's not for them. There's nothing fundamentally wrong with living an idependent lifestyle, but this is strangely stigmatised for men.

Lack of worthwhile friendships at this age (45). Friends have fallen away into dull routines, stopped living, unwilling to get out of the precious comfort zone, no hobbies/interests, just drinking at some run down bar. Alcoholism is disturbingly common. I don't care how I'm judged, while I can get away with it I'll choose the company of guys mid 20s -early 30s. Being around old men makes me feel like an old man. You only control your own attitude/behaviour, not that of others.

I'm 32 next month. Totally lost interest in life. Food doesn't taste right or bring any joy anymore. I can't meet people, everyone seems closed off and unwilling to put in effort to make friends or plan activities. Perhaps they are too busy, this system we live under really does have a way of sucking all joy from life and reducing us to hollow husks. I just don't care about anything anymore. Time seems to be passing quicker than ever and nothing ever changes. I go for my daily walks/runs which help somewhat, but I hate being stuck at home feeling lonely and lost all the time. I want connection with other people and to feel like my existence matters, but I just can't find it. The world is nothing like it was when I was growing up, and everything just seems to get worse with every passing year. Not sure I really want to hang around much longer but I have a small hope that things will change for the better. I'd love to see this horrible system crumble and we go back to living a much more natural and fulfilling way of life.

One interesting thing that i learned from it was forming good habits by tricking your mind. Going cold turkey on bad habits wont work. This video is a bit depressing but I have to remind myself that for me, I don't really fall into this camp because my 20s basically sucked and wasn't until my late twenties heading into my 30s where my life has been turning around. Sure I've missed out on the prime of my life youth wise but I've never felt better both physically and mentally and my view of the future, though challenging, is far more optimistic than ever before. For context, I've suffered with severe mental health issues most of my life so all I've really known is silent suffering and pessimism. Stark contrast to the person I am now. Only way is up for me 😊

While all of this is right, it kinda sidesteps the main reason - men between 30 to say 45 have had to react to an unprecedented number of societal changes in the last few years with no guidance on how to properly adjust. This is stuff like:
    1) Increasing feminism and thr changes it brings to the workplace, how to manage relationships with modern women, and what our role is moving forwarda as a man. I am not saying feminism is bad. All I am saying is things changed, and we didn't get a chance to adjust
    2) A changing media landscape that somewhat demonizes men or masculine elements. For example, we don't really have Stallones and Arnolds to look up to. We have to accept feminized men or even portrayls of men as evil in movies now, and if we push back, we are called mean and closed minded. Women seem to be getting the characters they want now (which is great), but our characters and heroes have to "take a step back" or be readjusted for consumption
    3) Severe economic changes. Esg, diversity requirements, outsourcing. All which may be good, but all which mainly asked men to adjust or give up some of their advantages
Given these drastic changes, we have seen a rise in negative portrayls like "alpha male" role models or guys wanting to mgtow

Men don’t give up at 30, you just realise you haven’t got the same energy you used to have. You get wiser, and you should value health, and choose who you hang around with. In a way I think life improves. You have to keep evolving.
We all have to grow up at some point, most men do not grow up. They stay as teenagers until they’re 60.

5 Decades ago by the age of 18 girls knew who they were supposed to marry, settle down and have a nice family. With that BIG, HUGE, ENORMOUS project in today Era, everybody was super obligated to just deal with the family. Men had to work hard, women had enough hard work raising children and keeping the house operational. In their spare time they were cooking cakes from raw material. The amount of obese people was less than .. 3%. ... BUT now... in this modern era, everybody is too "busy" pursuing a carreer, both male and females and since there was nothing cooked people swifted to ready-to eat food. So... obesity came and now more than 30% are aging super fast eating all supermarket preprocessed foodcrap. So... my point is that men are giving up because ... there have no obligation to NOT to give up. Most haven't established a steady relationship, haven't engaged or got married. Therefore ...without real-life responsibilities like babies that need resources ... men do not get the needed rush to try and chase nothing. Hope to find a good lady with purspose in life and everything will align sir. I will pray for you. Have a Good day.

I’m 52 and I’m the youngest I will ever be. Some things, mostly physical, are harder than they used to be. But others are a lot easier. People listen to you more and take you more seriously. You stop caring so much about other peoples’ opinion. With a bit of thought and effort you can look better than ever. Experience is under-rated. Ageing is a bit shit in a lot of ways, but it’s a hell of a lot better than the alternative.

I felt pretty young through my thirties when I was a wild and crazy merchant seaman. But then after the Gulf War when I started becoming annoyed with all of the drunks, having quit drinking myself, I decided to go to barber college at the age of forty to prepare myself for my old fogey job, where between haircuts when it’s slow you get to loaf in your well padded barber chair. That was a good fit and lasted for 20 years but it put four inches on my waistline which had to be lost when my A1C started getting too high. But I really gave up at 45 when I cancelled my wedding and decided to remain a bachelor thereafter.

I think for a lot, a big part after 30 is realizing you need to treat your body right, you can't get away with missing sleep, eating like crap, and barely exercising. I think practical things like that can fix a lot of problems men have after 30. The good news is you still have the potential to feel amazing. I feel better than I did in youth, but its due to fixing a lot of my bad habits the power of youth masked. I have to be intentional with getting good sleep, eating low carb, no sugar, high protein, walking and weight lifting (nothing crazy just 30-45 minutes a day of either). The processed foods and sugar destroy you man.
Don't get me wrong things can still be hard with the work grind and responsibilities, but its in our best interest to try and find ways for ourselves to make it work. IDK if anything comes after so I'm going to treat this life as if its my only life I have. There are joys and amazing things that still get me excited that I try to keep alive alongside the work.

I now have purpose in my life which is my band and writing music with them, and have cultivated multiple other hobbies that I enjoy. Don’t waste your time pretending you’re old in your flipping 30’s, that’s absurd and lazy thinking. Take good care of yourself, don’t get married but have girlfriends, don’t let them get the best of you. I’m nearly 60 and I nearly died 3 years ago, enjoy life while your health is good, and stay as healthy as you can. . Make you your #1 priority your mental and physical health. Women are not logical, don’t bother to try reasoning with them. Respect yourself and they will respect you more. You can have a happy life!

There is literally no problem, well few at any rate, which can't be improved by a big, fat, wad of cash. Unhappy in your job ? No problem, just quit and retrain. Unhappy in your marriage ? What you griping about ? Just divorce and buy an apartment.Worried about your health ? Just pay for the treatment and get it fixed. Want a personal trainer/personal fencing instructor.....Just generally unhappy ? Pay for a therapist who will, for that hourly sum, pretend to give a crap and offer up theoretical bullshit which, for a time anyway, may help you feel better. The problem for most men, basically, is lack of access to resources

A man doesn't come into his prime until about 45 to 50. Look at Sean Connery in James Bond!
You don't need lots of money to be attractive to women.
But you got to do a job and things in general that you love - and that you do first for yourself in non-selfish way (she wants you to make her feel ALIVE / EXCITED about life). You can do it.
A woman wants you to LEAD her (takes a few months to learn the basic psychology of - then you're away). She wants you to be CONFIDENT (this is key). You can do it.
A woman wants you to PROTECT her - body, mind and soul (should be able to do that from the get-go). To make her feel SAFE. You can do it.
A woman wants you to contain her emotionally (she wants you to be her emotional rock). You can do it.
A woman wants you to make her laugh and turn life playful, exciting and adventurous. You can do it.
A woman wants you to really listen to her. Her. emotional landscape. But not too much either. You can do it.
A woman wants you to enjoy understanding women and how to turn them on, body, mind and soul. You can do it.
But ultimately for the sake of your wife. To really love your wife / future wife. Not as a way to manipulate women for s-x and / or your daft little ego.
I learned all this during Covid. My life changed drastically. Other men can too. And within a few months every man can turn his life around quite significantly. And after a year or two considerably so. And then just keep on working on yourself - like a project.

@@JohnFrenchMSc But being this man is first for yourself! You become alive. It's about becoming like a Greek hero to achieve great things in life for yourself in non-narcissistic sense and then you can form great relationships with others, in particular, your spouse as a result. It's not about becoming like a Greek hero but developing your true personality. That part of you that loves humour, fun, play and adventure. It's about developing the part of you that others want to be lead by. It's about developing that part of you that is good at healing others (without being their therapist) and interested and curious in people (in particular your spouse). It's about developing your wisdom - for your own self-awareness in a positive sense, your understanding of people in general - but in particular of women. Which drives them crazy - in particular your spouse for you. And it's about knowledge of the world, culture and civilisation but without being corrupt or ambitious in a bad way. It's about having great s-x long-term with your spouse body, mind and soul. And the joy of seducing her. And the comfort of affectionate, non-seduction too. You GROW into this really big person, full of joy, life and love and achieving great things but in a non-narcissistic sense and accepting your flaws without crumbling. Best.

One thing is for sure - being physically active is a habit and can be tough to form the habit with lack of support or previous experience to relate to. If he denies still then go with kids but ask every time if he would like to join. Eventually he may take you up on the offer
