Tim you are wonderful. Such a nice gesture you have given the ones who have attended your paint along. Wish I could sign up but life gets in the way. Start my 6 months followup for previous cancer. Love your art and your technique. Thanks my artist friend for all you videos and teaching.

Set aside one hour a day to make art, any type. After a month it will be habit and you will drastically increase your skill. Family and friends will buy something from you and now you're a professional.
This channel will motivate anyone. Tim Packer is the Dave Ramsey of the art world.

Hi Tim great video. I really enjoyed it. Just wondering if you would mind telling me where you got that great four shelved grey cart that you had your pallet sitting on.

Thanks Tim! Any tips for someone who is staring at a blank canvas for three days? Drive's me crazy.

Thank you so much for sharing this! I am new to water soluble oils, so when you use a layer of linen oil as a coat first, what do you do with «fat over lean» if you need more layers? I have just bought a medium that is for quick drying, which says it can be thinned with water. Knowing you are not supposed to use water for other than claning, Im unsure what to do for a lean first layer. Hoping that the fact that the medium is quick drying will be good for the first layer. Thanks for everything you share, only just starting to scrape the surface of what you have to offer of knowledge ❤️

Hi Lene, the concept of Fat over Lean in traditional oils actually refers to the drying time. Meaning that you should put your fastest drying applications down first
to be followed by fatter slower drying paint mixtures. That is to prevent the outermost film of paint from drying first and then getting wrinkles in the film as the underlying paint dries and shrinks. So that is what you should consider when using the watersoluble oils. You will have to go by your observations of the relative drying speeds of the mediums that you use .
      Cheers
      Tim
