8:29 mom and daughter are straight up twins, and both are so pretty.
I look nothing like my mom, which is annoying because she’s stunning. She has red hair and green eyes and doesn’t look like any of her entire brown hair/brown eyed family. She’s always been teased for being “the mailman’s”.
Apparently she’s always been my grandpas (never met him) least favorite of her 7 siblings, which kind of further perpetuates the potentiality, because it’s nearly impossible to not like my mom, so that’s the only reason he could have had.
Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

I also don't look like my mom; let's just say my dad couldn't deny paternity if he tried. I've had folks think I'm mixed, but I'm not, not as far as my parents are concerned. But it seems that the Irish/Peruvian/Sierra Leone/Jamaican ancestry on dad's side was more dominant. 😆

I grew up in an area with lots of lakes, ponds, bogs and rivers so water safety was a conversation everyone had. most schools had a swim unit where we not only learned how to swim but we also focused on water survival skills since our bodies of water aren't really monitored the way most ocean beaches are. we were even taught how to get out of a rip safely even though the ocean was just far enough away that traveling there didnt happen all too much. I didn't realize how much we were taught compared to others until after binging Bondi Rescue with a friend a couple months ago. he was clueless about things I thought were common knowledge.

@@Dillonmac96 Never insinuated he was a bad guy.. sad that you got that from my comment. I was referring to his slightly blasé attitude when it came to finding family members for very distressed & young children & the way he handled the situation. Nothing wrong with being awkward, but there is something wrong when you’re asking a very upset little girl in depth, long winded questions about directions to her parents when.. if she knew the answers to that, she wouldn’t be lost! Also, slightly presumptuous / concerning that he nearly made a mistake in giving her to a strange man because he was sure it was her father. He needs to stay calm in those situations, get down to the child’s level, calm them down & then venture off to find them. Not sure if it was the cameras that put him off a bit though.

@@1776Blue well I guess if you live in a sketchy neighborhood or have knives laying around everywhere they are usually fine haha. They usually just get into the fridge or cabinets and spill food everywhere. My son once tore threw a pie and dumped out a carton of eggs when I was in the bathroom!

I used to get croup really bad as a kid except my had and anaphylactic reaction as well so it was called an anaphylactic croup attack but after multiple ER visits they prescribed me a nebulizer and the medication so my mom could give me treatments at home as needed

People don’t pay attention! Two children died in a pool. The
Their parents were involved in moving and thought the kids could watch each other. Every summer we lose kids in backyard pools in CA. WATCH!

Don't we all wish children were born with instructions. I had a incident with locking doors. I went to pick up my daughter from a private daycare and once inside the vehicle I remembered I forgot to make the daycare payment so with my daughter strapped in her carseat I told her I'm gonna be right back(it was winter and vehicle was on with heat on) well somehow the doors locked on their own. I get back to vehicle and can't get in. My daughter still strapped in her seat. The vehicle isn't suppose to auto lock until vehicle is in drive BUT it was in park. So I run back inside my daycare lady's house and she made a goody bag to kinda bribe my daughter to wiggle out her seat and push the front seat unlock button. My daughter had a poofy jacket which made wiggling from her seat a lil hard but she managed to get her arms out of the jacket to give her more room to work with and she did it. She wiggled her way out of her buckled seat and managed to unlock one of the front doors. From that point on when driving that vehicle with the locking issue it had we kept a spare key hidden at all times. My daycare lady said "you could of just given me the daycare payment tomorrow" Lol. She knew my work schedule anyway.

With young kids the beach frightens me! Entirely too easy for a kid to get swept away by a wave.
Mother didn’t even appear appreciative to all the help of getting her daughter back. Completely ignored that mans multiple attempts to talk with her.
