Stray thought about that Albert model gun is that it's Wesker's Samurai Edge. It would make sense for Chris to potentially recover it and keep it in his possession. Obviously some changes were made to it to better accommodate RE7 but it tracks logically unless you assume Wesker lost it for good in RE 5 before dying or simply died with it at the conclusion of the game.
I loved this game. Back to the roots. In my opinion way better, then all the shooting from 4, 5 and 6. Very good video, as always. Thank you very much. (May be not the best video for watching, while eating Pelmeni... ^^ )
Wouldve accepted this better to heart than 4,5,6. If theyre going to dedicate their time into RE8 then i hope they learn from their "stray from the path" idea. With time comes adaption, so pure survival horror isnt expected anymore, but keep the die hard action out of it. 75/25 survival horror/action. Im sure they got it down pat now. The RE2,3 system alongside RE7 system is all they need. They probably have so many projects we have yet to learn about. I have not been excited about resident evil since RE:0... Then finding out the RE:2 remake rumours were true was instant " survival horror " nostalgia.
Idk if comments have pointed this out yet but I was just playing RE Director's Cut and noticed a document was signed "White Umbrella" and I can't recall it being used again, but I feel it plays into the choice of a different color being used for this Blue Umbrella. Figured I'd throw my 2 cents in. As a long time fan of the games I love your videos! Keep em coming man.
I can't remember where exactly, though I want to say it's in the Baker house, there's a newspaper or magazine article about the virus outbreak in China referring to RE6.
You can see a picture of the Baker's dog in the testing area, on the monitors that show the family throwing a birthday party for Eveline complete with a clown. It's possible that it wasn't a suitable host for the mold, or maybe Eveline just got bored of it
Hey dude. Thanks for the video! To help with motion sickness in VR I put in foam ear plugs. Although you have to then turn up the volume, it calms the dizziness down. I hope it helps
You know, I still haven't played this game. I get pretty sick from first person games. But I love RE so much and it's bothering me that I haven't. It might be worth the puking and nausea. On a side note, thanks for playing RE Destiny! That was pretty rad and makes me wish for new RE games, but in that old polygon style.
You know why Ethan can reattach is own cut leg? Because he was infected by the mold shortly before the dinner scene. Even Ethan is surprised when he reattach his leg. Also other reference from past games in RE7 is the mention in one file of the HCF group. HCF or Hive-Host Capture Force , was the private special operations unit of Umbrella's rival company under the direction of Albert Wesker in Resident Evil code: Veronica.
Such a great atention to development process, photorealistc graphics, and yet the programmers let items magically appears in Jack's hand at 1:57. Wonder why they didn't fix this.
Karl Caguioa what are you talking about? The RE1 Remake came out way back in 2002 for GameCube. It was that game where we got the version of Jill that we have today
The REmake version of Jill is actually based off of a real model named Julia Voth, so theoretically it would be possible to get a true to life version if they hired her for the in game model captures.
Karl Caguioa what are you talking about? Look, I get that you’re probably just some 13 year old kid who’s not up to speed so I’ll help you out a bit w the time line of these games since I was around for all of them. The OG Resident Evil 1 game was released in 1996 for PS1, in 1998 OG RE2 is released for ps1, Jump ahead to 2002 RE1 Remake (where Jill first got the face we all know) is released on GameCube, after the that RE1 Remake has been rereleased on multiple different platforms over the years and has been remastered to keep up with the current standards, 2019 RE2 remake is released. Does that help?

VR cures. Put a rug in your VR room and stand on the edge of the rug when you are playing so your feet always know what way you are facing. Don't use any kind of snap turn or teleport and just use smooth locomotion in small sessions until you get used to it.
i found a really cool easter egg, if you should call it, in the game. you know how there is three keys that you can find in Biohazard? The crow key, the snake key, and the scorpion key. Well i looked into those creatures and turns out all of the eat their own kind, and i found that cool cause the Baker family is known for being canibals.
Racoon City had around 100.000 people actually and it seems that some managed to escape before the city got locked down because of that article. Also the stuff with Umbrella were explained in game I believe via files.
Not so fun fact: the collector’s edition off the game came with a baker mansion music box which played go tell aunt Rhody. However, the set was eventually recalled because the music boxes were faulty and contained material that was hazardous for your health. Coincidence or ironic?
Why you didn't play the Not a Hero DLC? This is all explained in that DLC and Not A Hero is free. The DLC was released two years ago along with another great DLC End of Zoe. End of Zoe take place three weeks after the main and Not A Hero and conclude Zoe Baker's story.
I can't believe I've watched every video about Easter eggs and Resident Evil 7 and I seem to be the only one that noticed while playing the other night that there is a reference to luigi's mansion in this game in 1 of the rooms I don't remember exactly which room there is a vacuum that's a little red vacuum with wheels it's the same exact vacuum from luigi's mansion nobody covers this
I've only played this game in PS4 VR and the best way, at least for me avoid motion sickness is NOT useing the controller to turn but instead physically turning my body. It can cause slight miscalibration but holding the options will fix it. Now sometimes you might wander off so place a soft mat below your feet so you stay where you are at all times. My VR has a wire so every now and again I'll have to do a 360° to untangle myself. The upsides to playing in VR is more immersion and way easier aiming. The downsides are goofy cutscenes, and as you stated dizziness, mainly for me being hit.
Also, in the mini-game where you play as Zoe when Bakers find Eveline, there is an actircle mentiong UN continuing the humanitarian mission in Edonia. Edonia is a country where Chris's and Jake's campaigns take place for a couple of chatpers in RE6.
It's a quick reference and easily missed but in the beginning when Mia jumps out at you, shortly before she cuts your hand off, there is the lightbulb flash sound from all the TCSM movies. Kinda cool, imo. idk
Fun fact: There's a light puzzle in some bushes in front of the Baker house. If you ever found an item named the toy axe in lucas' room and assumed it was just junk, You will not believe where it goes.
I never played resident evil 7 but hearing about all this makes me want to now Sidenote is that ost from re7 because it sounds amazing❤❤❤great video man
Here's another Easter egg for you both Lucas and Mia have ties to wesker through the connections who along with wesker discovered the fungus that created Evelyn
None of Lucas and Mia have ties to Wesker. Mia works for The Connections, the crime-syndicate group who created the Mold and Evelyne and her job consisted to transfer Eveline from a laboratory to another. Mia was just a trained operative working for The Connections. The Connections is a crime syndicate involved in Bio-Chemical research, money laundering, murder and trafficking of weapons and drugs. The Connections had technical assistance from HCF in 2000 and the project culminated into the creation of The Mold years later. HCF is the only ties with Wesker and by 2017 the group seems to be defunct. For Lucas he was freed from Evelyne control after The Connections captured him and injected a special serum. In exchange he worked for them in spying his own family and Eveline because The Connections wanted to study E-001 in a real life situation.
@@Wolvie1984 and no Mia nor lucas ever met wesker but the connections along with the help not work for but help of wesker led to the discovery of the fungus that eventually led to the creation of evelyn so it's not direct involvement with wesker which I never said to begin with
@@sweetkilla22 This was never specified if Wesker was involved in the creation of the mold and Eveline. HCF was the elite commando of Umbrella rival company. The technical support HCF offered culminated into the discovery of The Mold fungus. It was never explained if they were involved in the actual discovery of the mold and the creation of Eveline. As of now only The Connections are confirmed to be the creator of The mold and Eveline.
I've played Re since I was 5 years old and as an old re fan that was born a few months after re1 was first released, I've love all of the Resident Evil games, but I am glad that Capcom went back to its horror survival roots. :) now if they just remake or make an hd version of re outbreak 1&2
@@DarkAttackYT As always that your opinion bro! Resident Evil Vendetta is one the best RE experience, and yes it's more RE than RE7 aka Texas Hillbilly Outlast 7 😂. Unlike RE7, Vendetta has the real Chris Redfield that fans love and remember, plus Vendetta's story narrative was consistent and felt like a continuous sequel to the previous games. I can't say the same about RE7. But you wouldn't know that, since it's obvious you know absolutely nothing about the RE lore, except Resident Evil is a survival horror game series, which by far isn't much to consider yourself a true fan.
Another thing about Clive's book. Everyone always mentions that Abyss in the title is in reference to the T-Abyss virus in the game, but no one ever mentions that Unveiled is in reference to the name given to the HD port in Japan.
The Blue Umbrella storyline could be a great plot point for the future of the series. I hope that they don’t just leave it at that. I imagine Umbrella could repair their image somewhat, but I highly doubt that there’s not at least one secret lab left. This could lead to another incident like Raccoon City; or, maybe Umbrella really can turn over a new leaf. Perhaps there’s going to be a new group that has their own nefarious plans and Umbrella helps fight whatever bioweapons they’ve created. Imagine a RE game where you play as a Blue Umbrella operative, infiltrating a secret base or lab where they believe viruses are being created. Your whole squad is murdered by bizarre creatures, leaving you alone to pick up the pieces. The series could go in a lot of different ways, and I’m excited to see how it all unfolds. As long as Capcom continues the horror trend, I’ll be happy- there can be action packed moments, but the horror should be priority.
You have a fun channel with cool content. Kinda weird that you are so underrated but I do believe your channel will grow exponentially. Thanks for the great video.
Resident Evil 7 is the best original RE game in over 15 years. Its vastly superior to the Re2 remake in almost every way and is a solid contender for best in the series. The completely fresh take with an excellent story and incredible atmosphere woven perfectly into the RE universe as the story progresses makes for an unforgettable experience. The game is just really fucking good.
i completely agree with you re7 reinvented the way RE can be experienced whilst still retaining its core mechanics and then some from the original games to create something really special imo. Easily in my top 3 fav RE games
@@pinkaaron398 Exactly. I've always said its in my top 3. For me its something like: 1. Resident Evil (2002 remake) 2. Resident Evil 7 3. Resident evil 4 I do also love the original trilogy and Code Veronica and the Re2 remake as well, but my top 3 just have so much more atmosphere than those in my opinion. 7 just tops them all in sound design, overall atmosphere, and character design. The baker estate, the family, eveline...it all just flows together and makes for a top notch experience visually, audibly and thematically.
I've just finished this game and found/realized a trophy's name has some kind of reference to another movie, probably. Considering I saw that video you did of Easter Eggs of Residente Evil 0, where two trophies had references to the "Ace Ventura" movies, it's probable the trophy I'm talking about is related to another movie where Jim Carrey appears. The trophy *"That's spicy meat-a-ball"* is just like the line Stanley Ipkiss/The Mask/Jim Carrey said after eating dynamite to save Tina/Cameron Diaz almost by the end of the movie *"The Mask"*. The way it happened in The Mask (opening the mouth so much to eat the dynamite all at once) was very similar to how the "molds" (holomorfos en español) do to attack you with their mouths in Resident Evil 7. Or maybe I'm just a bit crazy after avoiding spoilers for so long after I finally played, and finished, Residente Evil 7.
Hi bud I just like to say you have a wonderful Channel and that last video was amazing. I have always been a fan of the Resident Evil since the beginning.
Great video, but quick point of correction. You absolutely can trademark a single word (e.g. Apple, Google, Microsoft, etc.). The reason Biohazard couldn't be trademarked as such in the US is simply because a different holder already registered the mark for use in video gaming entertainment.
Awesome upload, this made my friday! And I have a theory about Chris's inclusion. What if the BSAA used all recovered information and they themselves are rebranding as Umbrella. It would make more sense to me than Chris accepting a job with Umbrella.

I have a panic disorder and that game raised my stress level. Anxiety kind of comes with Resident Evil. So why do i love it.....
I live in that game. I spent 2-3 hours everyday in the house in VR and have dinner with the Bakers every night. I love it so much.
I can't remember where exactly, though I want to say it's in the Baker house, there's a newspaper or magazine article about the virus outbreak in China referring to RE6.
That zombie concept would've been amazing
You can see a picture of the Baker's dog in the testing area, on the monitors that show the family throwing a birthday party for Eveline complete with a clown. It's possible that it wasn't a suitable host for the mold, or maybe Eveline just got bored of it
Hey dude. Thanks for the video! To help with motion sickness in VR I put in foam ear plugs. Although you have to then turn up the volume, it calms the dizziness down. I hope it helps
Chris looks the way he does to more resemble how he looked in the 1st game
One thing I can think on Chris's change: he was supposed to die at the end of 6 and piers was supposed to live. It might be a nod to that
It should've went down that way... 😁
They changed him to look more like an older version of his RE1 character model.
Ace of Games still can’t get over how bright his hair is. It should be darker. Looks more light brown than grey
Oh same. In VR, this game WRECKS me
@@InkRibbon VR! Oh jeeze I'm getting dizzy just thinking about it. I appreciate the work you do on these videos, IR.
Early mia's hair, outfit looks similar to Rose's in RE8 ending
You know why Ethan can reattach is own cut leg? Because he was infected by the mold shortly before the dinner scene. Even Ethan is surprised when he reattach his leg. Also other reference from past games in RE7 is the mention in one file of the HCF group. HCF or Hive-Host Capture Force , was the private special operations unit of Umbrella's rival company under the direction of Albert Wesker in Resident Evil code: Veronica.
Goddamn, you fuckin got it right before RE8 even got trailers
@@WarCriminal2002 For me it was very obvious. Everything was pointing in that direction.
Such a great atention to development process, photorealistc graphics, and yet the programmers let items magically appears in Jack's hand at 1:57. Wonder why they didn't fix this.
I really hope that if they bring back Jill, they’ll still use her face from RE1 remake. That’s the definitive version of Jill
Raggity Skags yeah I know. She’s actually an actress. It’s crazy that she was only like 16 when she first modeled for Jill in the remake
@@samdiego1965 The more you know eh? Also, thanks for explaining that the original RE came out for PS1 to that kid, I was going to but I don't like posting twice in a row on the same comment. Have a lovely day :D
I would love to see a chris and Jill fight in 8 over blue umbrella
when I hear ink ribbon
*Auto like*
Not so fun fact: the collector’s edition off the game came with a baker mansion music box which played go tell aunt Rhody.
However, the set was eventually recalled because the music boxes were faulty and contained material that was hazardous for your health.
Coincidence or ironic?
The whole Blue Umbrella was in the free DLC Not A Hero, I believe, where Chris even finds it ludicrous to be even helping Umbrella.
Finally an explanation about Chris, I’ve been wondering that for like 2 years now
Why you didn't play the Not a Hero DLC? This is all explained in that DLC and Not A Hero is free. The DLC was released two years ago along with another great DLC End of Zoe. End of Zoe take place three weeks after the main and Not A Hero and conclude Zoe Baker's story.
I love your videos!!! I’m so happy you posted! Happy Friday!
8:48 thank you for your service.
This man ultimately saved the game
Now that I see the early characters that didn't make it in re7, a game with 13 ghosts like enemies could be fun.
For some reason RE 7 felt to me like a cult like Setting. It was a nice change. Can’t wait till we learn more of Blue Umbrella
Also, in the mini-game where you play as Zoe when Bakers find Eveline, there is an actircle mentiong UN continuing the humanitarian mission in Edonia. Edonia is a country where Chris's and Jake's campaigns take place for a couple of chatpers in RE6.
I love RE7. Interesting story and interesting characters. And of course amazing suspense and atmosphere.
Blue Umbrella will turn out to be evil like the original, and there will be a massive family reunion when it’s revealed.
Probably.
Also every coat rack in the Baker's mansion has Mr. X's fedora and trench coat on it
Thank you sir to remind about my old days of that MSDOS game
Holding breath mechanic is awesome, imagine slipping the button and then zombie starts chasing you along with Jack
The only reason they removed it was because people were holding their breaths IRL.
I wish there were actual zombies in the game. That’d been a nice touch
I remember the discussions before Not a Hero was released about that Chris being a clone of the original and/or being Hunk
I never played resident evil 7 but hearing about all this makes me want to now Sidenote is that ost from re7 because it sounds amazing❤❤❤great video man
It's the save room theme.
@@totaldestruction152 ok thank you
RE7 is a fantastic game and I cannot recommend it enough
I just get my wifi fixed after 3 days without internet... And, you just upload a video... Perfect timing, perfect day, perfect video!
@@Wolvie1984 thanks wiki you said what I said just more long winded
As always, really interesting stuff you show in this video! Keep it up man :)
We all want the original ideas resident evil always have
RE4 - Hookman demo
RE5 - Fear in the daylight demo
RE7 - Full Baker Family concept
Don't forget the RE2 one.
I don't know if anyone actually wanted a RE1 beta due to it being campy. But it was interesting anyway.
I still like RE5 Chris the best. His look is iconic.
RE6&Vendetta Chris Redfield is much better than RE5 Chris, especially Vendetta. As for RE7, #NotMyChrisRedfield
That and Roger Craig Smith pretty much nailed the role.
RE5 Chris is trash
A part of me wishes zombies were in the game or atleast a few more monsters besides the three mold types
You have a fun channel with cool content. Kinda weird that you are so underrated but I do believe your channel will grow exponentially. Thanks for the great video.
Love how your name is ink ribbon! Subbed!
6:21 WTF?!! Download RE Engine?
123OGNIAN that's a surprise.
Those potion Can Solve World Hunger lol
Not sure if you played the Not A Hero DLC but through some dialogue and documents you get a bit more insight into the new Blue Umbrella.
Sounds like someone didn't play the Not a Hero campaign if the Umbrella stuff came as a surprise.
Yeah, it's pretty obvious what all of that is in that DLC.
Well to be far it came out a decent but after the game. I had already completely finished it. Went back. Sad it wasn’t Vr
I was about to make the same comment till I seen this
Every time he says "I think I understand" for something just sounds like it went over his head and not "confusing for most players"
For me its something like:
1. Resident Evil (2002 remake)
2. Resident Evil 7
3. Resident evil 4
I do also love the original trilogy and Code Veronica and the Re2 remake as well, but my top 3 just have so much more atmosphere than those in my opinion.
7 just tops them all in sound design, overall atmosphere, and character design. The baker estate, the family, eveline...it all just flows together and makes for a top notch experience visually, audibly and thematically.
@@alabamapredatorpoachers9514 wow very close to mine for me its:
1.Resident Evil 2 (Original)
2. Resident Evil 7: Biohazard
3. Resident Evil 4
@@pinkaaron398 Great list, with a top 3 like that you really get to experience everything the series has to offer, generally speaking.
These were some cool facts. Also, gonna need to get a chart made of Chris with Blue Umbrella.
Chris with Blue Umbrella is utter travesty to the Chris Redfield character entirely. RE7=#NotREfansChrisRedfield.
2:02 but now we know how ethan do that.
Leg being chopped happened to me on 1st playthrough. I think its a timed event. If u take too long he gets you.
Thank you!
@@InkRibbon welcome.
Wonderfully explained and so many secrets to be found in this game. Love the effort and time that has been put in to give us this amazing content.
RE2 remake should've had a VR mode...I had no issues with it, but I've heard having a fan blowing at you while you play can help with motion sickness.
I hope they do a Resident Evil Remake REMAKE with the new Jill and Chris. Would be amazing.
