Interesting engine room access on that one. Others I’ve seen have a center hallway between a port and starboard engine room. Only a front stairway and hallway access all the way to the master stateroom aft.
Hi there Capt Paul. I think all the LRC's came with a cockpit on the back. It was the motor yachts where most came with the "fall to your death " transom. The boat looks great. Been cleaned up quite a bit. You know, i dont think its the wall of the "Portuguese Bridge" that enhtralls you so much as the Pilothouse itself. Great place to get out of the heat, cold, wind and rain, i can tell you from personal experience, that running from the flybridge in nice weather, is one of the finer things in life. I have spent many hours enjoying the ocean going by on big boat flys. You really should get Karl used to going up there and running from there. Its beautiful. Stay well my friend!
@@NoRegretsLifestyle Paul, been keeping up with you for years, the way you have worded this have you bought this Beauty. I grew up on a 1961 32 ft Chris craft connie and then a 1965 Chris craft Roamer 57 for, twin 8V53 Detroit's. It is funny, after getting used to her, which was quick. 2 people could dock her easy.
Absolutely gorgeous boat!!!! I'm very happy for the Captain. I'm sure he knows what he has and I stand in awe of it!!!! Question - what do beauties like this go for? I know the Detroits are not getting any younger and I also know if well maintained, they can last a looooooong time. How many zeros do I need in my account before I even start my search for such a Beauty?
maybe the 6V71... these 671 are truck engines. turbos mostly on trucks, but since this is LRC maybe naturals is all they need to get hull speed. turbos would be something else to go wrong
I just happened on this video. Those Hatteras’s are in my opinion, extremely beautiful boats.I Googled the name and went to the site where it’s advertised and it’s been taken off their list.Has it been sold ? Thanks for Your time.Off Market is what’s posted.
Those old Hatteras usually have those old telephones everywhere, call the engine room or bridge while on the shitter 😄 🤣 😂 😆
Yes I would love to find one with the system working LOL
Great old yacht. Thanks for the tour.

Yes the LRCs use the side door, these boats are much slower but offer long range

This boat will be selling in that 250k range in good working conditions, Karl picked this one up for around that 170k range
@@NoRegretsLifestyle I'm interested...
Nice
Thanks
Doesn't a 671 Detroit Diesel have a force induction blower not normally aspirated just asking
Yes all Detroits do, but they also turbo them. So yes and no

How many men does it take to operate and to dock that monster
Two is plenty but three is nice 😊
I wish my boat held 800 gallons of water, I'm here on a mooring ball St Augustine I get water with my dinghy
Ya 800 is a lot of water and makes for lots of freedom
Who owns this?
Karl owns the boat brother, I am just the captain

Yes it has a new owner now
how much? Be prepared to spend $2k per month minimum on routine maintenance….🍭’
Depends
Great boat! But worst camera work ever...
Thanks 🙏
