Thanks for making me understand one of the most important topic in Head Neck Anatomy. But here it is shown that: 1. One of the Structures passing through Incisive Canal is Greater Palatine Vessels 2. One of the contents of Greater Palatine Foramina is also Greater Palatine artery & veins ( i.e. vessels). Does this mean, that same vessels pass through both the Foramina? This is one place of confusion, for me. I shall be highly obliged if you help me with this. Thanks and regards.
Yes, the same greater palatine vessels. They come out through greater palatine foramen and run anteriorly along the inferior surface of hard palate to reach incisive canals, through this canal, it enters into nasal cavity to supply anterior inferior part of nasal septum.
