Thanks man! I used barrow tech pass throughs with an Ek extension to go through the table. I drilled the hole to match the size of the pass through so you could pretty screw it down into the desk. The quick disconnects are also barrow. I chose barrow based on price alone, you could use any brand of your preferred choice 👍🏻
Just what I want to see. I'm actively trying to find an excuse to get one of these. Probably not going to happen, but a man can dream. Speaking of dreams, how would you feel about building a case out of MO-RA 420s? Or maybe just the front and back wall.
Thanks for your comment! Honestly if you are into water cooling it’s almost definitely one to tick of the bucket list 😂 In regards to building one into a case I already have some very custom ideas in the works, so watch this space 😃👍🏻
Okay, now I'm very interested! I'm on the market for exactly one of these, and I'm intending to use it for Direct Die cooling with liquid metal for the 13900KS OC experience. Have you done anything like that with yours? What were the temps under load? How high up did you push your frequencies etc? Hoping to see more from you!
Temps have been very good! I have used this with a few different rigs now and I would say most have been in the low 60s under load. This is however with a fairly low ambient temp so that is something to bare in mind 👍🏻
Still not sure why you didn't just get Watercool's D5-DUALTOP MODULE which is a single bracket that lets you mount both D5 pumps along with a reservoir and was intended for the MO-RA3 420 (incl. the Noctua Edition).
Thanks for your comment! At the time of the video that adaptor was not Available as it seems to sell out quite quick. Still happy with the result though 😂👍🏻
One thing I would like to see a video of is installing fittings with EK-ZMT tubing. Apparently they are pain to install, but if I were to go custom loop that's what I would go for.
The thing with ZMT, is that in most cases it is notoriously out of spec. I will say this though, I have used ZMT a lot and in my personal experience has always worked as intended with little trouble!
may i ask why did you mount it to a flat wall with 0 air flow? no air is going to flow through that rad with it smashed against the flat wall like that
Hey! it’s hard to tell from the camera angle but the rad has around 3-4 inches clearance from the wall, which is more generous than the official wall mount kit you can buy from watercool. I’ve used the rad for a while now and temps are great, so if you are considering wall mounting I would defo recommend 👍🏻
Thanks man, I appreciate your comment! The pumps are 2x independent Ek D5 Pumps on a custom bracket I made. I can send a link for the quick disconnects. What country do you live in?
Here you go dude www.performance-pcs.com/water-cooling/fittings-connectors/barrow-quick-disconnect-qdcmale-plus-female-black-body-with-matt-silver-slide-tzkmf-v2-bkms.html
Thanks very much! Will have some new content coming soon. Yeah AIO is a nice option for casual OC but if you like benching etc custom loop is definitely a more efficient route! 👍🏻
@@ROWDY.404 Really, for the 13900k and 14900k that I'm testing now, a cooling solution like yours would be ideal. Thank you very much my friend, I am already subscribed to your channel to see the news.
Yeah the Mora really is great bit of kit and whether you are into overclocking or just a general hardware enthusiast it performs well all round! Thanks again for your support 👍🏻
Yep Pumps and Fans run at 100%. The noise on the Noctua's is so low its not a problem for me, so didn't see much point in adding a controller for now 👍
To be honest it’s holding up really well! I have been running it in my loop for just over a year and it’s just as good as the day I installed it! I occasionally have a play with a modified AC machine to overclock which can bring temps down to -5/-6 with no issue of freezing up! 🥶
I bought a Mora 420 kit with 4 x 200mm fans, dual pump kit and reservoir for my newly de-lidded 14900KS. All original parts and extremely easy to assemble, no bodging needed 😊 and works superbly giving only a 2C increase in water temperature over ambient at 320W CPU power. Currently freestanding on feet but I also bought the wall mount kit. Highly recommended, albeit with a hefty price tag! Getting 6L/min flow through my CPU block.
Hi there, in my opinion due to how well the radiator performs with either just a push or pull configuration with the Noctuas it is not worth/necessary to go for a push pull set up with these radiators. The performance gain will be almost unnoticeable. Hope this helps 👍🏻
ola meu amigo, no meu sistema uso 1 xd5 corsair 1 radiador 360mm e mo-ra3 noctua , vou ter mais performace usando 2 bombas ? vale a pena comprar duas bombas? agradeço pela atenção .
I found your channel because I am planning my own Mo-Ra build in preparation for an upcoming new PC build once all of the dust and reviews settle with all of these CPU and GPU launches. I subbed even though you polluted that wonderful Mo-Ra with Barrow and EK. Especially that nasty ZMT. I can somewhat forgive the res (acrylic tube) but Watercool's own EPDM or Tygon is far superior for tubing. ZMT is notoriously dirty out of the box and also frequently out of spec which is why many people have problems getting it on their fittings. Best wishes for your channel and I look forward to watching your previous videos!
Firstly thank you for your honest opinion and feedback! This was was built on abit of a budget and most of the components I used was stuff I already had kicking about! Thanks for taking the time to look through my other vids, I hope you enjoy them 😃👍🏻
Im building a PC currently and i just purchased a 4090 and intel 14900k. If i dont go this route how many radiators would I need to cool the GPU and CPU effectively? I've read many different things in reddit. I was originally going to get a NZXT kraken elite 360 rgb cooler. Thats all that was recommend form paradox customs, but after reading online I realize i definitely need more to cool the CPU and GPU. Would 3 of those Krakens be enough to cool my CPU and GPU? Really appreciate your response. Thanks in advance.
Hey, thanks for your comment! So as we know both the 4090 & 14900k run hot 🔥 you could get away with a 360 but this would be far from optimal, I would be more inclined to run 2x 360 and ideally on independent loops. Obviously this very much comes down to space and how much money you want to throw at it. External radiators like the Mora would be great option if you have the room 👍🏻
you are happy with having the pumps in series? i would not be. unless they were on either side of that radiator. you could have run them parallel and it would be more efficient. pumping from one pump into another pump isn't ideal.
Yep, Im happy with the route. I have built many loops over the years with this config with no issue. Plenty of flow, so wasn’t to concerned with number crunching efficiency. I liked the way it looked and it worked. Thats it 😂 👍🏻
Hey man, awesome job on the build and video, only just come across your channel today as I'm looking at adding one of these rads into my current loop so I have a question if you can help; I was planning on putting the rad in the loft and running tubing down through the ceiling, down the wall then into the back of the case through those quick disconnects then obviously back up, my issue is the head lift, I've seen the EK xtop revo duel pump that has over 7m lift but curious as to what yours would be, the pumps you've used I think have 3.9m lift on their own but would that of been increased with how you set them up I.E. one pumping into another? I did think it would be less of a pain too with regard to connecting the pumps to have them in the case co i can hook them up to my commander pro and the psu of course Appreciate any help and advice you can give me
Hey bud, thanks for the comment. This is a cool idea I like it! The performance of two pumps running in tandem like mine have the same Benefit as using the dual Ek pump. Considering the head pressure you will need to get up to loft and around a Mora, you may need to experiment a little with a possible 3rd pump to achieve decent flow. I have quite a large loop in my test rig which uses a Mora and even with two pumps the flow is decent but not amazing! You can see the rig in one of my more recent videos for context. Please let me know how this works out for you 👍🏻
Nah they are not to bad. These come of the shelf pretty clean. It’s worth doing an early coolant change though after first install, just to be on safe side! 👍🏻
Haven't seen hardline Mora before! Looks sick

Howdy, I am in the process of building My MORA system and your video was very helpful. Thank you for the easy instruction!
Thanks so much for your comment and good luck with your build 😃👍🏻

Hey there, all pumps and fans are powered of an additional power supply. Hope that helps 👍🏻
@@ROWDY.404 Does that mean the pumps and fans run at 100% all the time, or do you have some kind of controller hooked up as well?

Can I suggest you get the 'deep fan cover'. The 200mm fans don't bite like the 120mm 'industrial' Noctuas but still better protected.
Mine is now firmly mounted on the wall out of the way. So fingers are safe for now haha
@@ROWDY.404 Mine too, but it looks a lot neater with the black grille 🙂
