I used to love journaling but had a mother who would hunt down my book, read it and beat me for what was inside...now every time I write things down, I have a fear someone would find it. Loved this video. Will get a book.

I want to encourage you continue journaling if it helps you. If that’s the way you express yourself by all means write. Never feel scared for how you feel. I my child’s father snuck and read my diary and became upset with me because it displayed how I truly felt. Remember, that’s your personal space your safe haven that nobody outside of you and who you all to read it shouldn’t be reading it anyway. Also, don’t ever feel bad or discouraged by other peoples actions, you can’t control them.

Vanna, I'm so sorry that happened to you. Never let that stop you, your journal is your safe space and it shall always be your safe space. Give love to your journal, write lovely words in it, put back the love into your journaling. I wish the absolute best for you sis 💕

I know how you feel and this has happened with so many people, if you live alone or have a private space write your thoughts how you want. I, too feel like someone will find my journal, you can also try writing it out and then throwing it away or burning it or finding a hiding space. I already don’t feel like so can verbally express myself to many people so writing my feelings and thoughts is essential I also pray through writing when I’m able it helps with clarity because my mind is usually thinking of a million things

I had a “friend” about 20 years ago who I left alone at my apartment while I went to work for a few hours. When I got back home she was gone. I called her to see what happened and she was so mad at me…. She admitted that she went through my night stand and found my diary which had information in there she didn’t want to know… she then decided to tell people in our friend group other things and everyone got mad at me and banned me from the group. it was a horrible experience.

before I finish the video being funny and loud isn’t terrible, there is a time and a place to use your inside voice but there’s women like Keke Palmer who I find VERY charismatic and she’s also very feminine in my opinion a short video to reference is her chicken shop date interview on youtube with Amelia. I’ve always been soft spoken and calm but people can also mistake that for uninterested I love to see an outgoing personality (probably because I’m not extroverted and wish I was ) My homework was learning to speak up and take up space instead of making myself small

Dr Michelle… Could you do a TH-cam on how to remain in your feminine during a disagreement with your partner. Especially if they are behaving or speaking in a triggering manner.. how do we communicate effectively that doesn’t lead to hurt or upset

Learning to be in your body is key! I’ve always been very self conscious and uncomfortable being seen, so I tended to reside in my mind wondering what others are thinking of me. Practicing yoga, exercising, dancing, etc has helped put the focus back on how I *feel*, which makes me more relaxed and open towards others

Femininity is such a touchy topic for some reason. When I try to inspire others to be in their feminine and express that there is a time and a place for everything, I get so much backlash from other women. I just feel like this topic is so misunderstood.

This was a very timely message. Just today i was praying about being truly feminine on the inside because i noticed that i have a very 'manly' walk. I started prioritizing rest this month and will continue to do so. Can't wait to see how i show up on the other side. God bless you Dr Michelle 💕💕

I've been journaling for 10 years. I started when I was 11 and it is indeed one of the best self-healing practices I have used to know what I want, to remind myself who I am, remind myself who God made me to be and just reflect on things I want to change in my life. Nowadays we need to slow down especially as women. We are constantly on our phones, hearing people's problems and taking in so much negative energy. Thank you Michelle for dropping this video. I resonate with you in so many ways and God has used you a lot to help me tap into my femininity and be authentic with myself. God bless you.

Thank you Dr. Michelle. I have been on my feminine journey for about a year and a half. Its still a journey and sometimes I end up back on a path that I have already traveled (repeating unhealthy patterns), but from following your videos, I give myself grace and get myself back on track!

For me its a bit hard to feminine.. I mostly all the times keep emotions to myself and when I sometimes release them its sooo intense. Also I have monotonous and quite strict voice, I move quickly, and hardly accept help from men.
My background is that I was raised without my father, I was always helping my mother since I was quite young, also my siblings, even till now when I am 28. So it made me quite independent, controlling and distrustful. I do have a nice career now, money, Im good looking. But I dont have relationships, its hard for me to be feminine woman with men, I feel like their sister, friend, colleague or whoever.. its hard.

Me too, I feel like everyone's little sister. Sometime I have acceptance for myself, being in this position. I'm still working on myself and chasing some goals, and I know in the future God will elevate me when the time is right.

Dr. Michelle, thank you so much for all your content. I really enjoy listening to you, I am trying really hard to be in my feminine energy but I do find it difficult doing my hair everyday. I have curly hair and find it difficult to do something to it everyday. I used to wash my hair daily but it cause my hair to dry out and become brittle. I usually wear it down once or twice a week and the rest of the week I wear it up. I am a single mother of two little girls and I find it really hard to always do my hair when I have so many other things to do. This is something I really do single with, Can you please suggest any tips or tricks

I’ve been so blessed by your videos and podcast! I’m a wife of 8 yrs and a mom to a boy and two girls. 7,4,and 2yrs old. I’m “girly” but I started searching more about femininity two yrs ago and came across your channel. So happy your a believer of Jesus as well! You share your faith so well, bold but not rude or demeaning. I desire to pass on this wisdom to my two girls, from you ❤

Can you talk about being more feminine without pretending to be something you’re not or about being more feminine while still being authentic? I enjoy playing sports and producing music and writing songs, but I don’t know how to be more feminine and keep doing those things. I don’t wanna have to stop doing things I enjoy just to be ‘more feminine idk.

Just because you enjoy producing music and writing songs, does not mean you don't embody femininity. Toni Braxton does those very things and she's ultra feminine. Femininity is more than what you do or what you look like. The very fact of you being creative in your gifts embodies femininity. I wish you the best on your journey love!

Is dancing the only movement for feminine energy? What about working out or lifting weights?
I used to journal amd still do but I'm not consistent. I will journal on my phone but I want to get back to pen and paper. When I was teenager, my privacy was violated so much by my foster mother that I don't trust pen and paper. Then she would use it against me.

being sporty and athletic is not masculine it's not wrong to be an athlete and if men are intimidated by women he has weak ego that needs to be stroked his ego by a woman being submissive that you should avoid dont change yourself for a man this video was rather offensive and sexist
