My first husband took me on a 3-day hike and he had to carry my pack for part of it I was so exhausted. But walking out of the woods afterward I knew I was forever changed. I think kalle saw so much strength in Christina and he wanted to share something so amazing with her. They all struggled and they all came away satisfied with who they are. It is a beautiful thing you did for her. So much love in my heart for both of you. Christina you are so beautiful and resilient. 💞😍
I have breakouts sometimes, I have cellulite, I am a bit overweight, etc. But you know what, so are soooo many other people. We are not perfect, we were never meant to be perfect. Media and celebrities have spoonfed us this for so long and social media only made it worse, but it's time to step away from all that. It's very brave to still let you publish the video even though she wasn't sure about it, and I love that. She is helping making humans human again and one day we will see someone online or in a magazine with broken out skin and we won't think twice about it. I do hope the stress and the blemishes will fade because everyone deserves to feel comfortable in their own skin.
Christine is stronger than she thinks she is. I felt bad for her at first, but I think she handled her challenge better than I had my first similar challenge.
Christine is beautiful! I didn't even notice her skin. But I also understand that when we have an insecurity, we think everyone is staring at it, even though they're not!
Well done Christine - I got such bad blisters on our last hike ,so I know how much pain you must have been feeling. YOU DID IT!! You should be very proud of yourself.
This is a beautiful and refreshingly honest video! Christine should be proud of herself for being determined to finish the hike even though she was exhausted and her feet were hurting. I went on a short hike near Åre and the view was amazing! It must be wonderful to do a hike like the one you all did. I'm sure you were bone tired but your hike must have given you a real sense of fulfilment. Christine is so naturally beautiful! She has nothing to be ashamed of! You have definitely found a keeper. It makes me happy to see both of you so happy together!

Christine, I can relate to your skin struggles and the insecurities that come with it. So I am very impressed by your honesty and bravery♥ You are such a beautiful woman and your beauty will always shine, no matter what your skin looks like🥰
I have watched lots of traveling and hiking videos but yours made me so happy, positive and emotional at the same time. I just loved it. She is so sweet ❤.
Good job, Christine! When I walked the Bergslagsleden a few years ago (23 day solo hike with no shopping), on my return I wrote "Broken in several places, fixed in others" :). I hope you will feel fixed too after each hike.
I just discovered this channel and Kalle already inspired me a lot. But Christine inspired me even more. I am at the same point in my life, and i need something just exactly like this. Right now I feel that every step i take puts me two steps back, Kalle's remark of learning to know yourself with every step you take is my inspiration!! Thankyou Kalle for that wise words and thankyou Christine for being such a great inspiration!! I wish you all the best!
Your dog is such a star -- such a beautiful creature. Thank you for sharing her. And thank you for sharing your journey -- made me smile (and sometimes wince!). 😘 I'm on team Christine AND Kalle -- you did it together.
Very beautiful Kalle. My dear late twin brother Paul and I did something similar weeks before he died. You just don't know what's in stall for tomorrow. You have to live it full. You certainly did that here. Well done. Mark
Lovely hike and a great place for a first timer 👍 Might want to remember in the future that your dogs have to be on a leash at all times in reindeer areas (renskötselområde)
I have been doing this since I was a young teen and it is sad to see people that never do this in their lives and just know urbanism. I am glad you took her there, everyone needs to atleast once
Christine - You were such a trooper throughout the hike even though Kalle thought it would be a great idea to not consider you in his plans for this particular hiking experience. Kalle - The scenery was beautiful; however, I find myself thinking about what I felt was a lack of consideration for Christine. I don't think you thought this through. I feel you have a lot to learn about relationships and how to treat others. I wish you and Christine well.
Loved this! The music, the scenery, cenamatograogy, the beautiful prose, and the outstanding camera shots. It's as good as any nature documentary I've seen. What a treat to be in my warm bed and finding something so enjoyable to watch before I go to sleep Thank you
If it helps Christina, please tell her i get the same skin condition, a reaction from high stress. Its not fun and I hide away from everyone when it happens. Im extremely proud of you for dragging her out into nature and receiving some of that stress. I hope her feet healed quickly. ❤
Absolutely beautiful. Must admit my youngest daughter and I had a giggle with the fresh tasting water, "It has a really fresh taste of rock and Earth... ." And Stephan's feet! Completely had both of us in stitches! Thank you so much for the effort. It truly is gorgeous country. Had the great fortune of visiting some of our friends there two years back. Keep up the great work!
Thank you for sharing your amazing experience with us. Christine is a remarkable woman. Beautiful, courageous and so positive. You two will have a wonderful life together. After thinking you would never find someone to share your lifestyle with, you have certainly struck gold. Peace and love from Thailand 😊🙏
Christine you did a fantastic job for your first hike,, and can be very proud of yourself. The emotions you had were natural. I hiked with my husband many years ago in South Africa in the Drakensburg mountain, we did a day hike (I had never hiked before) and with our 2 children who were very young then. We felt very tired but elated and slept on the mountain, no tent, just sleeping bags. It was invigorating. I am sure that next time you go on a hike it will be much better as you know more about it now. The views were spectacular and your friends that were with you were very nice people too. I am sorry to say I have forgotten the name of your dog, who did an amazing job.
Christine, Every woman has her good skin days and bad skin days, her good hair days and bad hair days...but when one is as beautiful as you are my dear, who really notices ? I admire your willingness to reveal your authentic self on good and challenging days ! Your inner strength and determination will carry you far through this journey called life ! Wishing you many more adventures !
Thumbs up that she pushed through! 3 days hiking and no sleep sounds pretty hardcore. Girlpower yeahhh 😉And her face is so beautiful she doesn't need to be insecure!! Wonderful landscape and video! Thank you Kalle☺️
Yes I was (and still am) so impressed by her ❤ Oh that is so sweet of you to say, she just read you comment and became so happy 🥰 Thank you for watching Melanie 🙏
Hahaaaa, a bit of suffering! I let my thunder moods out at my husband at times during hikes (rain, cold, snow, lost paths, mountains that didn`t end, ice cold streams, freeze dried food for days, bears) but I would not want to have missed any of the tours we made! Like your friend said: One truly feels alive!
Way to go, Christine! I hope she's proud of herself for pushing through and finishing the trip. It's an accomplishment! I do a lot of day hiking, but I've never done a multi-day backpacking trip like this.
If someone hasn't been on a hike before, taking them on a 3 day hike is a tall order. Surely a shorter hike would have been kinder, to build confidence and be less painful. I amazed that you didn't consider her needs more from the outset.
I agree, taking someone on their first hike, no sleep for 3 days, hiking 12 hours the second day on almost no sleep, continuing on with a long hike. She was running on adrenaline and went through "trauma bonding" with a narcissist. I do find it very sad actually. She is caught in a sticky web and doesn't know it. There are many very good educational videos on the magnetic draw between an empath and a narcissist. The empath always ends up with the short end of the stick.
Beautiful video ❤️ Christina ~ wonderful perseverance through a temporary and uncomfortable journey. Sometimes pushing your mind and body to uncomfortable limits helps to soothe the soul. God bless 💗
Christine has the most beautiful smile and laugh. That was some hike, absolutely stunning, congratulations! I am so glad I found your vlog I love it, now I'm feeling that I may have a touch wanderlust. 🌿☀️😁
It made me sad to see that Christine's first hike was so poorly planned. At first I thought you were just inexperienced but after reviewing your channel and Instagram I realized that you are actually quite experienced and possibly a bit of an athlete. I'm an older man in my mid 60's and in my youth I would do multi-day hikes into the wilderness mountains of British Columbia. The geography is not too disimilar to Sweden. Friends would see the many pictures I would shoot and wished to come out on day hikes or multi-day hikes after they saw the beautiful lakes, mountains and alpine meadows. I always respected the novices, they were not usually fit, I always tried to prepare them and planned according to the weakest member. I was also an athletic type with a regular routine of 3 to 4 hours a day. You may have guessed that I didn't approve of this ambush hike with Christine and found your "tough love" comment surprising and disturbing.
Thank you! A man of great sense. It is very disturbing and seriously wrong to do to a young woman who is trapped in the situation. I hope she takes this opportunity to go back to her own home.
@@mmpoggs2033 "tough love" isn't a contract for adults. Implies a superiority of understanding only appropriate to adults dealing with a delinquent child -- which is the context in which the phrase was born.
Well her comment in the end said it all "Do it it's wonderful, you are going to be so happy when you have done this". Coming from Denmark she has probably never walked any mountains since there aren't any 😂. Maybe he new that this was exactly what she needed.
Amazing job, Christine! That must have felt so good when you got to the end 😅 I sometimes suffer from problematic skin so I understand her insecurities about it, but I didn’t notice anything ‘wrong’ with Christine’s skin. She is beautiful and seems so fun. I love your dog too, she is so sweet 🥰
Haha she was SO happy to see the finish line 😅 Then you know the feeling, thank you for saying that ❤ Tuss and Christine are both fun AND beautiful to be around 🥰
Full credit to you both. Knowing beforehand what a hike like that would entail, It would of put me off even going. The anxiety would of got too much with over thinking... just going for it and then getting through it, superb achievement. 😁🙌
Thank you so much for taking me on this journey with you. I loved that you said it is what's in between, not just the end. In the states we have a few transformative outdoor journeys that can make or break (a relationship too). One that I've taken a couple of times was into the Boundary Waters Canoe Area between Minnesota and Canada. Long days of rigorous paddling, portaging the canoe and all belongings and food, and sleeping/living outdoors. Not everyone can accomplish this...nor would even think to do it. Congratulations.
In a world where so many conflicts, lies, deceptions and political games are unfolding, you guys, your amazing content and inspiration to live life to the fullest in a more "simple way" is absolutely amazing. It maybe sounds a bit heavy, but the world has darkness and light and you guys are the light. And it's amazing to watch your adventures here on TH-cam. Wishing you all the best.

I salute her persistence, perserverance and determination💪 Truly amazing real life experience for her. Keep up the good work Kalle👏All the best to both of u and stay happy together always💖💖💖
I totally understand Christine and her insecurities. I myself got the same skin problem after a stressful period in my life. While I am working on it at a deeper level, the only thing that helped me so far was keto diet. It brough the inflammation levels down significantly and while I am on it my skin has almost healed. Wishing Christine the strength and courage on this journey 💜
Life is tough and relationships are tough, both bring great challenges. Hikes like this really test us and our resilience and patience, with both ourselves and others. Things come out that we didn’t know we felt or thought, we can say things we don’t mean or experience feelings that we don’t expect to, but it’s important that it’s all put into perspective and we realize that it’s all part of learning and growing, individually and together.
Such an inspirational video. Thank you. Christina you probably don't know how beautiful you are. Your laugh comes from way down deep. And you did it. Better to not know what is ahead. And even better to not look back. That's living in the moment. Doesn't get any better.
Oh wow, the landscape looks amazing. But I can’t even imagine how exhausted you two must have been after hiking three days without sleep. 😅 Christine‘s face is gorgeous, she definitely doesn‘t have to be ashamed!
What a fabulous hiking group. Beautiful souls even that four legged one your sunset was fabulous )and Christine your battles make you more beautiful not less so, life is how you live inspite of the little imperfections) xx
How fast your chanel is growing is crazy good . I left for an hour to do chores and then came back to watch one of your video and you have gone from 17,2k to 17,5k. Congrats ❤
I once walked a mountain in the middle of winter, half way up we reached snow that was up to my thighs, and winds of 100mph and more, there was lots of tears and pain, in that instance I swore it was the worst experience of my entire life, and I didnt think I had the strength to get myself off that mountain. Now, 3 years after completing that walk, I look back on it as THE most challenging thing I've ever faced, I learnt a LOT about myself that day, that I'm a lot stronger than i gave myself credit for, and I now know what it feels like to get to that point where your convinced you have no more left inside of you, but you surprise yourself and muster the strength and courage to keep going until the end. I've never had to push myself so hard in all my life, but I'm glad I had the opportunity to experience my abilities, because I really surprised myself, and I now look back on that day with such pride and happiness, a day I once deemed the worst experience of my life turned into the most proud moment of my life, the most challenging, and by far the most fun, with the most lessons learnt. Its good to test your limits, it's how we grow. As for your skin, before he mentioned your skins stress response I was literally thinking about how beautiful you looked while out camping and hiking! Social media is COVERED with fake lives and women being unrecognisable from their natural selves, but you are TRULY naturally beautiful, and your 'bad skin' didnt even register on my radar, it's not something I see when I look at you, your stunning. But thank you for being so open about your insecurities, I know it's not easy, channels like this are a breath of fresh air due to the realness of what you show, no smoke or mirrors. Keep up the amazing work. Much love xxxx
Hay kalle..she is still with you and still very beautiful ..her skin now looks very smooth..it's amazing how changing your lifestyle to be more into natural form..it does wonders internally and can be externally seen..shalom
Beautifully edited and narrated, also loving your choice of music from epidemic, always greatly fitting the current scene and mood. All the best to you guys.
My swedish sambo does exactly the same, and I always end up in the same situation than Christine. I am very familliar with the 1h30 and half walk being actually 3h, the exhaustion of Christine, the cries and also happiness to have done it. But no matter how it went or how planned or unplanned it was, it always remains positive memories, laugh and the wish to go back on hikes. I hope it is the same for Christine. Such experience will make her better prepare for next hikes and I guess for the life in the log cabin. Kalle will also be better prepare for next hikes and life with Christine by better knowing her limits. Thank you for the share. My first hike ever was with my swedish sambo 3 days in Abisko, so this video reminds me a lot of memories. And I definitly join Team Christine!
Always pack what we(US) refer to as “moleskin”. Instant relief so that you can get shoes on again and protects from any further injury. Petroleum-based medication at night with lambs wool over. I don’t know Christina and I am proud of her. You did great girl and he lived to tell the tale.
I went to Outward Bound when I was your age, so I understand completely what Christine was going through! I am so happy that I did it but I would never do it again!
Hiking has a way of teaching us about setting goals and going for them. Where the point of departure and goal are so far apart. To be reminded that it's all It, the departure(excitement, nervousness, energy) , the journey (pain, suffering, tears, laughter, friendship, bad food and sometimes good) and the destination(unimaginable joy, freedom-a deep sense of I can do anything) .And the whole process matters.

She deserves all your attention and respect Kalle. And of course a lot love, love, love. I cant put it into the words, she is very, very brave and kind lady.
Christine est merveilleuse. Elle est tellement endurante et fragile à la fois. Toujours souriante et courageuse. Quel bonheur ! Elle est un exemple 🇫🇷🙋♀️🧡🦮🐕
Who would not fall in love with somebody who talks to your dog like that? 🥰 She is beautiful inside and out. Such an inspiration. Beautiful couple you two. Keep going on your adventure!
Haha right? 😍 Thank you ❤
I don't know if you have seen it yet, but I just uploaded a new video, I hope you will like that one too 😊
I think kalle saw so much strength in Christina and he wanted to share something so amazing with her. They all struggled and they all came away satisfied with who they are. It is a beautiful thing you did for her. So much love in my heart for both of you. Christina you are so beautiful and resilient. 💞😍
Christine was such a good sport through it all. She is a keeper, don't let her get away.
I'll never let her go ❤ I don't know if you have seen it yet, but I just uploaded a new video, I hope you will like that one too 😊
I have breakouts sometimes, I have cellulite, I am a bit overweight, etc.
Christina and husky head to head eye closed just enjoying each other was absolutely beautiful!!!!
Christine is very strong, positive and beautiful. Well done and her skin will heal completely its just a matter of time!
Christina is a queen. You should be very very grateful that she chose you. Treat her appropriate.
Hiking in Denmark: 1 hour on flat ground
Hiking in Sweden: 3 days in rough arctic mountain terrain
Christine is stronger than she thinks she is. I felt bad for her at first, but I think she handled her challenge better than I had my first similar challenge.
Tell Christina, she is absolutely beautiful! And literally beautiful inside and out! A strong woman like this deserves all the love 💕
I'm happy you like the reality of it 😊 She IS proud, she's such a fighter 💪
Yea, Åre is also sooo beautiful 😍
Yeah, she's definitely a keeper 😍 It's the most amazing feeling finding your soulmate ❤
@@KalleFlodin - The secret to happiness in life I have discovered after 5 decades, is to ignore negativity, and people who aren't happy for you. It is safe to say, they aren't happy people. As the saying goes, misery loves company. Just keep on keeping on, and be happy in your cabin. Its a jungle out here!! x
Sometimes the greatest things in life, and the most beautiful memories for later is when someone (with good intentions) takes us by the hand to show what we are capable of. The growing fase of sadness to happiness and fulfillment is a learning curve. I’m sure that afterwards she was so proud of herself and happy you took her on this adventure.
The only team to pick is both of you. You compliment each other so well. Hiking is hard but so worth it. I felt so bad for Christina. Thanks for sharing another great adventure!
Christine, I can relate to your skin struggles and the insecurities that come with it. So I am very impressed by your honesty and bravery♥ You are such a beautiful woman and your beauty will always shine, no matter what your skin looks like🥰
I cry every single backpacking trip I take, Christine! It breaks me every time but its the best breakthrough I've found in life.
I showed Christine your comment, she says thank you for your support and sends her love 😊❤
I have watched lots of traveling and hiking videos but yours made me so happy, positive and emotional at the same time. I just loved it. She is so sweet ❤.
Your love for her will help her heal. Keep the love strong. It’s what she needs. My husband helped me heal just by truly loving me. Beautiful ❤️
He definitely heal me, I feel so loved and lucky 😊❤️
I wish you all the best!
thanks for showing what really happens. Not just social media fiction. GREAT CHRISTINA YOU DID IT!!!
That is exactly what we were aiming for, reality 😊 Thank you ❤
Your dog is such a star -- such a beautiful creature.
Well done. Mark
I hope she watches this over and over again and know how brave and beautiful she is❤️
Lovely hike and a great place for a first timer 👍
Might want to remember in the future that your dogs have to be on a leash at all times in reindeer areas (renskötselområde)
What a treat to be in my warm bed and finding something so enjoyable to watch before I go to sleep
Thank you
Wow, what a brave woman and so beautiful too! You both make a wonderful couple! Wishing you you success in your ‘simple’ lives!
Yes I was (and still am) so impressed by her ❤
Oh that is so sweet of you to say, she just read you comment and became so happy 🥰
Thank you for watching Melanie 🙏
Hahaaaa, a bit of suffering! I let my thunder moods out at my husband at times during hikes (rain, cold, snow, lost paths, mountains that didn`t end, ice cold streams, freeze dried food for days, bears) but I would not want to have missed any of the tours we made! Like your friend said: One truly feels alive!
Way to go, Christine! I hope she's proud of herself for pushing through and finishing the trip. It's an accomplishment! I do a lot of day hiking, but I've never done a multi-day backpacking trip like this.
She's SO proud 💪 You should try a longer one then, if you dare after watching this video 🙈😅
If someone hasn't been on a hike before, taking them on a 3 day hike is a tall order. Surely a shorter hike would have been kinder, to build confidence and be less painful. I amazed that you didn't consider her needs more from the outset.
I know right!! this is a great way to end a relationship. Winter hasn't come yet too! wait till that happens.
What doesn"t kill you makes you stronger.... a true testing of a relationship and theirs is going all the way. Well done Kalle and Christina!
I agree with this comment. Taking a newbie on an intense backpacking trip is disrespectful.
The empath always ends up with the short end of the stick.
it's just a hike....
You girlfriend has proved to be a real tough cookie. Hang on to her, she's great!
Being necessarily graphic it is vital to be aware of women’s cycles and requirements etc. Tough love doesn’t work under neglectful leadership!
No need to be sad, I bet she came out stronger. Hard work pays off and she will be rewarded, plus they both learned something :-)
Haha she was SO happy to see the finish line 😅 Then you know the feeling, thank you for saying that ❤
Tuss and Christine are both fun AND beautiful to be around 🥰
There is nothing you shouldn't publish about her, she is great inspiration, brave and beautiful girl :)
The dogs are beautiful 💕
Beautiful dog, beautiful girlfriend/fiance/wife, beautiful turf, beautiful friends, beautiful life. You've done well young man.
Thank you friend ❤
That beautiful girl is a keeper. The dog is amazing too. Forwarding this vid to my husband; it is the life he would have had if his family had stayed in Sweden
She's definitely a keeper ❤ oh really? Maybe it's time to move back? 😉
It is so beautiful there and I love your dog. I hope Christina finds peace and happiness there with you Kalle.
How I have missed this video until now, is almost a sin. Kalle det här är ju et fecking masterpiece du har gjort här. The narrative, the scenography (video and sound blends perfectly). Norrland mit (nya) underbara hem.
You are very lucky to have found such a beautiful girl who is the perfect combination of tough and sweet. What a trooper she is. I wouldn't have made it through that hike!
Awesome sharing Kalle👍Christina done a good job on herself by not giving up on the journey eventhough she was truly exhausted. I salute her persistence, perserverance and determination💪 Truly amazing real life experience for her. Keep up the good work Kalle👏All the best to both of u and stay happy together always💖💖💖
Beautiful journey, beautiful family! ❤️🙏🏼🕊
What an amazing experience! You did so well. What a strong lovely
Young lady you are
Thank you ☺️ ❤️
She has a great laugh, is a beautiful girl and is stronger than she thinks.
BEST laugh ❤
I love Christina so much!
She is stunning! Nobody sees her skin like she does
I totally understand Christine and her insecurities. I myself got the same skin problem after a stressful period in my life. While I am working on it at a deeper level, the only thing that helped me so far was keto diet. It brough the inflammation levels down significantly and while I am on it my skin has almost healed. Wishing Christine the strength and courage on this journey 💜
She's actually on that kind of diet right now 😊 Thank you for your thoughts, I showed her your message and that really brought a smile to her face ❤
@@KalleFlodin sending her lots of love from Canada 🧡
What beautiful people all of you are...inside and out!
Oh wow, the landscape looks amazing. But I can’t even imagine how exhausted you two must have been after hiking three days without sleep. 😅
Christine‘s face is gorgeous, she definitely doesn‘t have to be ashamed!
Haha yea...exhausted but happy that we made it 😊
Thank you for saying that Anna, it means a lot to her ❤
Oh my gosh Kalle I started crying when I saw that sunset. How can anything be that beautiful?
I was soooo beautiful 😭❤️
Praise the Lord, you have a very beautiful country. May you all be happy together
It's truly magical out here 🥰 Thank you 😊🙏
What a fabulous hiking group.
Congrats ❤
I knoooow, it's CRAZY 🙈 Feels unreal!
@@KalleFlodin that's only because your content is great ,your hard work is showing off :)
Such a wholesome video, you're a very gifted storyteller!
Hay kalle..she is still with you and still very beautiful ..her skin now looks very smooth..it's amazing how changing your lifestyle to be more into natural form..it does wonders internally and can be externally seen..shalom
Beautiful great outdoors to breathe deep and focus
beautiful photography - you showed the walk so well - I really enjoyed. all the best
Thank you guys..with the so good direction, music etc..you made us travel in the same atmosphere as you..! Great job!!
Christine is a stunning woman
Couldn't agree more 😘
She is very beautiful and I love her hair
She is such a good sport all things considered if she don't go home after this u will have a great companion in her. 👍
tell Christine she has nothing too worry about. she is gorgeous. cheers from the U.S.A. stay safe.
What beautiful scenery! As hard as that hike was, the sheer beauty must have healed any discomfort:-) keep it you two! You are great
Communication....understanding. Great effort Christina! Heal well. Take care.....
You did great girl and he lived to tell the tale.
what a great hike! would love to experience. Thanks for the realness! love it!
Christine is so beautiful! I knew she would make it!
