Thanks for reviewing this iconic kit. It's a shame there isn't more out there considering how influential this movie was and still is! There's a few flaws with this kit such as no profiles on the tires, plus they got the interior and the colours on the beacon lights wrong. I wish they'd make them all in clear no colour. The ParaGrafix PE set is essential, and Cozmic Scale Models UK make seated figures of Deckard and Gaff. You might be able to pick those up in Telford! If you really want to go to town with it, Magnote Products Japan makes resin and 3D printed upgrade kits as well as better decals. Looking forward to your build!
Blade Runner is such a timeless, great, great movie good to see there is a kit like this out there
I've had mine for a while. I'm glad to have waited to build it. My skills and technology have finally gotten to the point where I feel like I can do it justice. The ParaGrapfx PE set is a must. I also found a resin base that has a section of street like in Bladerunner, plus a stand that resembles the column of smoke the Spinner rises on to set the kit in the air. Would like to see your build of this one.
I have this one and its a great model.
BUT , with some major problens on the interior if you want to make a more close replica of the original model .
The PE set for the correction is absolutely necessary in this case .
And the one I got was nice to use and I am very happy with the final result .
