Oh Ms Jeepsy!! What a find! 👍 Just love this little ghost town in Cleator, AZ 😁 So thankful that you stumbled upon this quaint little town! The weekends there must be happening big time there, with ATVer's running around all the roads! 🍻🌭🪕🎸🎤🎶🎵 Thanks so much for sharing this cute little ghost town....🏜️ A diamond 💎 in the ruff!! 😁👍
Back in the 40s, my dad was friends with Tommy Cleator, whos dad (James) the town is names for. My dad and Uncle would pick up Tommy and theyd drive to Jerome. They would take the Senator Hwy to Prescott then drive over the top of Mingus Mtn. I guess, from the stories I was told, fights with the miners was not uncommon. Have lots of stories...
Some of the places that your journey takes you to, I would love to live in at. And it doesn't matter whether it's a ghost town or not. I'm not scared of ghosts. Thank you again for a great journey
Nice drone footage Sarah. Great perspective of how out in the middle of nowhere Cleator is! Boats in the desert, well after all it is a bar and yatch club. Awesome tour of the older buildings there thanks to Corey and his fur buddy.
Very cool little town, Sarah! It was awesome of Corey to open up the general store and schoolhouse for you as well. I'm just glad that I don't have to work that type of gig when there are no more than three people backing me up with hundreds of tourists at once! Good for them though; that will probably tide the town over for another year. I hope someone can fix that freezer!
Very nice video!👍 Looks like Cleator is a happening place these days. I enjoyed seeing some of the other buildings, as the bar is the only place I have been in. Nice restorations in progress. Thank you.🙂
How cool. Wish that people would do something like that with the little ghost towns I have around here. Would make for more interesting things to do. One ghost town not far from where I am is where my grandfather was born in the depot. Safe travels for you and little one 😊
Nice job covering the history of the historic town of Cleator. I thought you meeting Corey what is an exceptional find and he turned out to be a fine fellow by offering to take you inside a couple of those old buildings and showing the care he and others have taken to preserve that history by doing such a fine job restoring them. You're really pumping out the content Sarah, I just hope you're still finding time to take it easy so you don't run yourself too thin doing what you love. You're just getting better and better at finding your voice and producing great videos.
Ha ha! I remember when "Hippies" came into Jerome Arizona, started selling home crafted items. Actually brought in more and the town saw a growth spurt, tourists equated money. Most who moved there just wanted some space. So, when Sarah points out the Hippies use back door sign I remembered that. A lot of these old Ghost Towns are good places to live....if you are accepted by those there ahead of you....and the small gold/placer miner can make some bean money! Thanks for such a cool visit Lady!
Love these type of places , Love your work in bring your world to all of us , God bless , keep well and happy . Australia watching reminds me of our outback areas . Your soul is shinning bright and the future is looking even brighter . Love to see Netflix do a doco about your life , Pay you megabucks and inspire you to travel the world and meet other awesome people , that mite invite you to there favorite places , l live in a Town with only 130 full time residence . and just love it . Living with nature and it animals is priceless .
Senator Tenney told me at dinner one day he would drive the old Ford truck backward up the hill the back way into Prescott. It was a gravity feed gas line as the tank was in the dashboard and when a hill was steep enough it would dog and die . So backward up the Bradshaw's . Good job Jeepsy ... Saw you with wonderhussey.
Cheers! My first video I have seen of yours. Cleator I have been to many times (they have PRR at the bar there) but you have shown me more history than I have explored when I have been in my groups. Must explore your other video's to see more. Thank you !
Just stumbled across your channel and have binged quite a few episodes. Love your stuff! You probably get asked this alot but have you ever stumbled across anything spooky or something you couldn't explain? I love anything scary or paranormal and have read loads of accounts of people sleeping in camper vans being visited by sasquatch... one chap even had his whole camper van rocked and lifted up and down by something large one night! Keep safe and keep doing what you do... can't wait to follow your adventures!
Don't know where your from...glad you enjoyed your visit... your no where near off roading but if you do happen to get deep in the Bradshaw mountains you will be very amazed at the beauty and will infact see many old mines. Cleator is just scratching the surface....
Hey Sarah, love the video, ive got to go there looks so cool. Bbeen down for the last tthree weeks and four day in a hospital. My heart started to act up and i was too stubborn to go to my Doctor but looks like ill be on some meds for a while. Your looking great and your very lucky to have found such good people out there. ❤ Old Kenny
Oh man that place looks really cool. has a few geocaches and is less then 70 miles from me. I do believe I will have to visit and make a geocaching cleator video
Was little one mad at you with the other dog's scent was on you? lol, I have a little dog that looks like little one, his name is Otis, he was a rescue dog from hurricane Isaac, he's an old dog, but dances around when he sees me getting food for him. P.S. he loves french fries ☺
So cool! I love exploring. It's my goal to start exploring and finding awesome history and old mine sites. I would like to start a channel or something like that. I would call it disabled exploring lol. You give me inspiration thank you.
6 miles past Crown King is a little lake called "horse thief Lake". It's really nice up there in the summer. If you get a chance try to make it to the lake.
I want to come to this place ❤That event that’s about to happen in a few weeks sounds super fun!❤I love Burning Man so I’m sure I need to check out this event sometime 🎉Thank you for always showing the best places around!
You should go to the town of Young in Pleasant Valley. Crazy history in that area with a feud between ranches similar to the Hatfield's and McCoy's. Also ancient Indian dwellings.
You definitely find some off the way places. Lots of history there. I bet during the get together that place is awesome. I wonder where they get their electriciy and their water. Perhaps a well out there somewhere.
Nice they are saving those old buildings, I'm sure the general store will be a hit with the visitors. That place has changed a lot since I was there 25 yrs ago. I stopped at the bar and had a beer, the bartender was a old guy...guess he's gone by now. History is so interesting.

Great story.
Have you ever been to Jerome @brianwalker? Awesome place!
Ghost towns are always interesting and sometimes a little spooky if you stay the night. Nice review of this location. Thanks!
Cats aren't grumpy.
They are just kings of earth and are annoyed by humans, unless you have treats
Those two cats are only grumpy because they're outnumbered by the dogs. That and they probably aren't getting enough treats. ;-)
😂😂😂 right ✅
Awesome, see that pressed tin ceiling.. cool
Cleator and Crown King are assume!!! Hung out there for years when I lived in Cordes Lakes. 🐾🙏🏻✌🏻
So cool! Thank you for finding a little bit of history tucked away in these fabulous old towns!
The school had a beautiful floor and ceiling! Just 1.5 hours away from Phoenix.
I love Arizona. So many cool places to explore. Another great video Sarah!
