So sad . Even if the doctors prescribe avoid taking any injections because there can be allergic reaction to it . Always safe is paracetamol tablet only. This awareness needs to be circulated. Even if it’s high fever only allow drs to give injection paracetamol. Safest drug . Being a Dr myself feeling sorry for this young girl dying due to negligence
Exactly, If patient is conscious and a very good oral drug with least side effect is available, why was the need for an injection ? And why the hell they did not have any measures to manage anaphylactic reactions ? This incident makes me so angry. Om Shanti 🙏🏼
@@ak-ww8jr then please get it noted in your medical records and also wear a medical bracelet mentioning this allergy. Also paracetamol is in a lot of combination drugs, so you will have to screen out every medication you have to take. Also, don’t got to a substandard clinic where they don’t even have facilities to manage anaphylaxis. Take care
Very true , sometimes Pmol also can cause allergic reaction but once known avoid taking . Inform any dr you go to even if they don’t ask. Oral tablet is safer than injection because it takes time. Reaction of injection is very fast . Always better to go for hospitals with better drs also with good infrastructure too. For mild fever flu better to avoid medicine unless the fever doesn’t come down or some other symptoms develop.
Being in medical profession, i want to clarify few things. 1. Many smaller hospitals and some big hospitals in town hired non qualified Drs for saving money. Usually BAMS/BHMS Drs are appointed as mbbs/MD Drs charged much more to hospital. 2. You/we can't change the system, do a favour to yourself & your family, buy a good medical insurance and always select reputed hospitals for any treatment/ consultation. 3. Govt. Hospitals are very good for treatment, only they are lacking in infrastructure and amenities. 4. In any private hospital if you're going and paying heavy money, it's your right to asked for qualification of treating Dr.

To all young medical aspirants Just see the society we are living in A young woman lost her life beacuse of anaphylaxis to ceftriaxone which is beyond human control
I am a medical professional .It was severe anaphylactic shock aka allergic rection due to diclofenac. Her life might be saved, if the doctor there would have administered adrenalin injection on time. 😢😢😢😢
1 in a million patients can have severe allergic rection. And it applies to any drug... No one can predict. But its immediate management is important after anaphylactic shock occurs. Because blood pressure drops to very low levels. Its the clear fault of doctor by not giving her immediate life saving treatment. I think he was not proficient in dealing emergency patients...
Her anaphylactic reaction was very severe as the relatives are clearly telling. & most likely adrenaline would have been given as it’s part of every crash carts. But even after the best of treatment, mortality is very high in such cases. PS : I am a doctor & the way you wrote the lines suggest that u need more training in medical science as u clearly don’t understand that conditions can be from mild to severe & prognosis depends on how severe her condition was.
There is much more than this happens in medical mafia. That's why i and my family never took any allopathic medicines and injections since 13 years. I learned how to live without any allopathic medicines.that's the need of the hour. Also if emergency occurs plz go to govt hospital emergency dept.
This is not medical negligence this is the worst law and order system in the country, No fear of law and order and corruption in every level, People understand when they face the actual situation in life.
There was no need to shift the patient, she shoould have been intubated, given anti allergic medicines there only, i m a surgeon with 45 years experience
@@sunilgarg9506 I am agree with you sir. But a small nursing home or private Clinic don't have icu set up for intubation so after administration of adrenaline Avil and hydrocortisone patients ko higher center refer karna hi padta h . it is very unfortunate case diclofenac too bhut commonly use ho raha h usme severe anaphylactic reaction too very rare hi hota h ?
This is the reason I personally and always deny everyone in my circle, not to pop any medicines and visit a nearby Chemist or a medical centre or even a hospital. Worst are the nursing homes/ hospital that have less footfall, who simply want to look at you like a client rather than a patient.
@@vikramjeetsingh7540 ya they see patients like money making machine, in one clinic old doctor she was evaluating how much she can pull from the patient 🙄, only 1 in thousand dr will be genuine, hospitals are becoming worst
It's an allergic reaction that went sever leading to anaphylaxis. The sister should not have continued the injection once allergic reaction was happening. Allergic reaction can be fatal sometimes. It's not uncommon
Who knows the nurse actually gave her dynapar or something else due to her negligence...as these private hospitals employ untrained nurses. Proper investigation is needed.
It was the nurse fault who forcefully injected the medicine even when the patient complained of sudden reaction to the medication. No doctor would inject a patient who clearly says they don’t want the injection
I believe It's a case of allergic reaction. It's very unfortunate. There must be a protocol to understand if we have any allergic reaction by test administration before full dose is administered. Such a bright girl left this world early. This is one of the many cases which shows the shortfall of regulations being set by government to save patients in future.
A similar situation occurred when we admitted my friend to Devkamal Hospital for food poisoning. Tragically, due to the negligence of the doctors and nurses, we were unable to save her. She passed away.
It was hypersensitivity (anaphylaxis ) reaction. Injection shouldn't be given wholly, as her brother mentioned he asked the nurse not to inject further. After that epinephrine could have been life saving. It was failure of the team as a whole. Proper history should have been taken before starting the drug. Even after starting, suspicion should be high if a patient complaints of itching. This is the reason why we need better and serious health care system in India. But it is going in complete opposite direction. Nowadays even ayurvedic, BAMS etc are practicing allopathic like mbbs, md. Ab agr mochi ko jute ki jagah gardening krne kahoge to garden bhi vesa hi milega. And vice versa. Allopathic can't practice ayurveda or yunani etc.. And one more thing. Cheatings and back door entry in MBBS and zero percentile passing for md/ms exam. This has made easier to get degree without sufficient hard work, knowledge and practice. Bas pesa feko, degree le lo. So if people can't come to stand with doctors on such issues, i fear we'll face more of this in coming years.
It's clear case of medical negligence, i am also doctor, there is nexus of fake doctors running very successfully in our country, they even don't know the treatment protocol, i think owner of that hospital become his son as doctor to run hospital as proprietor by donation 😢
This can only end when getting a mbbs degree is solely based on merit and not on reservation and money. If janta still fights for reservation in such profession then they should stop crying on such incidents.
@@snowflakes8681are you dumb or you strive to be one. Yes we non medicos dont understand it but you medico tell me why he is not accepting that it was a allergic reaction and why he is lying about his case stay and trying to hide and change info.
I think she did have an anaphylactic reaction ie. Allergic reaction to dynapar, in that case they are duty bound to provide emergency care and manage the patient to the best of their ability ,but most of these clinics or hospital to save money on staff cost they hire sub par resident doctors who are not adept at intubation or other emergency management they are only present to take orders from senior doctors . So in summary they can be fined and family receive compensation since emergency care was not given.
The woman likely had an anaphylactic reaction ( severe allergy) to that medication which is not uncommon in the medical world. Any reasonable doctor knows to inject epinephrine for treatment (and additionally diphenhydramine and steroid for management of symptoms) and this needs to be done ASAP. Referring the patient instead of treating her sounds pretty absurd. My heart goes out to the family, such an avoidable loss!

No medical board will accept that this is a case of medical negligence because all are travelling in the same boat.It is very unfortunate that despite all visible evidences the victims are not being given the timely justice. @@DoctorJaneDoe But how can anaphylaxis be negligence? They will show injection epinephrine injected, upto 2-3 times.. how is it possibly negligent conduct? Anyone can have a serious adverse reaction to an injectable. I will always recommend colleagues to advise oral medicines instead of un necessary injections.
@ there is a standard protocol to patient management ( necessary care without causing harm to patient) a judge might interpret things differently from medical professionals. A) she did not require injectable as she was conscious and had walked to the hospital B) a better drug than what was given is easily available C) that better drug is avaiable in oral form D) there was enough time to see the effect of that oral drug as the patient was not seriously sick (see point A) E) before giving injectable no test dose was given F) the concern of the patient when she felt while getting injection was ignored And most importantly, the hospital lacked the facilities to manage anaphylaxis adverse reaction. Also need to see the doctors/nurses who managed the patient , were the qualified enough to give injection and were they trained in adverse drug management. Many hospital hire BAMS/ BHMS etc for less money who are trained to managed such emergency situation. Did they even know basic ABC of patient management.? It takes practise to learn proper intubation and these people did not even use an ambu bag. These are the points l have noted from the news report, actual case would be detailed and a good forensic/ a lawyer with medico legal expertise will be able to better help. IMO the practise to give injectable drug was to extract more money from the patients as injectables are more expensive (needle, syringe, actual medicine, gloves, swabs) etc are all charged and patent admitted for treatment is also charged. Whereas a single paracetamol would cost less the. 5 Rs. l could be wrong but this is my perception of the case, greeed took the life of this young lady. BTW these hospitals are managed by trusts or businessman who have nothing to do with medical care and only profit making, so they hire low calibre (degree holders ) who charge very less than an actual professional who has knowledge and experience with wisdom (as well as morals and integrity). Regarding this case, the victim’s family should hire a very good forensic expert while keeping in mind the other side will also hire to disapprove of their claims. I wish them all the best in getting Justice.

Guess what i m allergic to paracetamol. I recently developed allery to paracetamol after covid. I took pcm and started having itching and throat pain.
Hello ji, how to know which medicines we could be allergic to? Does this happen only with injections or even with tablets? Thank-you 😊@@DoctorJaneDoe

A young woman lost her life beacuse of anaphylaxis to ceftriaxone which is beyond human control
Umm, isn't Dynapar a NSAID ( diclofenac )
@nihalmohammed6674 yes
But still an anaphylaxis is beyond human control
I am a medical professional .It was severe anaphylactic shock aka allergic rection due to diclofenac.
Her life might be saved, if the doctor there would have administered adrenalin injection on time.
😢😢😢😢
Is this reaction normal ? As diclofenac is so commonly used .
You cannot predict the extent anaphylatic reaction can go and pharmacogenomics ....
@@tarungupta2001Do you think he had not given emergency treatment available....

@@sunilgarg9506 I am agree with you sir. Who knows the nurse actually gave her dynapar or something else due to her negligence...as these private hospitals employ untrained nurses. Proper investigation is needed.
😢😢😭 very sad, fully negligence of dr.
It was the nurse fault who forcefully injected the medicine even when the patient complained of sudden reaction to the medication. No doctor would inject a patient who clearly says they don’t want the injection
True...the nurses in the hospitals are untrained and they think they are dr themselves.
I believe It's a case of allergic reaction. It's very unfortunate. There must be a protocol to understand if we have any allergic reaction by test administration before full dose is administered. @@udennyn it is a pain medication commonly used nowadays for mild to moderate case even at home by patients

A) she did not require injectable as she was conscious and had walked to the hospital
B) a better drug than what was given is easily available
C) that better drug is avaiable in oral form
D) there was enough time to see the effect of that oral drug as the patient was not seriously sick (see point A)
E) before giving injectable no test dose was given
F) the concern of the patient when she felt while getting injection was ignored
And most importantly, the hospital lacked the facilities to manage anaphylaxis adverse reaction.
